An island nation to the southeast of the mainland, Corone is known for its diverse inhabitants, mild climate, and bustling harbors. Having recently recovered from internal upheaval and rebellion, the restored Republic once again maintains thriving trade with other countries due to its strategic location and powerful navy.

Stretching across the harsh and frigid northlands, this vast, mighty kingdom still reels from years of civil war between its Church and State. The clash of steel has quieted and the two sides have finally reconciled, though both reduced to shadows of their former power. Anarchy and chaos now grips this once proud nation as its people struggle to survive.

The ancestral home of the High Elves has always been a land of magic and wonder. However, in the wake of a the destruction wrought by the necromancer Xem'Zund, this realm of shining cities and ancient forests now holds ruins and danger as its diminished population struggles to regain their nation's former glory.

The nation of the Dark Elves lies west of Raiaera, across the Mountains of Twilight. The most technologically advanced civilization in the known world, Alerar boasts alchemy, gunpowder weapons, and steam-powered engines. In recent years, the Dark Elves have set their eyes to the sea, and once more East toward their ancestral enemies.

Here lie the frontiers, the mysterious lands at the map's edge, outside the 'civilized world'. The island of Scara Brae is the last port before the great unknown. Beyond there, explore the steamy jungles of Dheathain, the arid deserts and ancient tombs of Fallien, and other wondrous and perilous lands. Adventure awaits, but be warned: "here there be monsters."

Towering over the center of Corone's capital Radasanth, The Citadel is the largest battle arena on Althanas. Woven with mysterious and powerful magic, this place lets characters fight in any environment imaginable, restoring them to health after each battle. Citadel battles are a great way to test your character's skills, compete against other players, and earn EXP quickly. Glory awaits within.
