The Auction House

The Auction House, an upscale area ala Sotherby's, is the staple for collectors looking to find unique items on Althanas. Every item that comes through here will only be produced once, meaning the person who buys it will have the only one made. The only exception to this are canon items, like weapons belonging to old characters, that will be periodically sold. Items are fully transferable if you wish to buy/sell them to your hearts content. Everyone is allowed to bet on any item and bets must be conducted in character.

There is one rule: if you spend over 2000 GP on a single item, you must wait for three more items to be sold before you can participate again. This will help keep the Auction House available to all players. Of course, you could always have a person buy the item for you, if justified in character.
