Althanas Choose-your-own Adventure!
I was struck by random inspiration while writing a fairly randomly inspired vignette, and thought I'd see if I can get it to catch on. To be quite up front, this is a ploy to gain some readership and possibly start a new fad on Althanas.
Basically, I'm asking that you read my vignette from this month's contest, and folloow the OOC instructions at the end of the post. If I get more than 2 responses, I will re-post the vignette as part of a larger quest, and continue the story started there with choose-your-own adventure opportunities popping up every few posts. Read along, and you'll be a determining factor in the decisions the characters make, as well as the results of certain actions.
Once the private messages have helped me determine which path the story should follow, I'll post the next segment ASAP. Right now this is a solo effort, but if it takes off and others are interested in joining, I'll definitely be looking for some help.
