The princess couldn't shake the feeling that she'd forgotten something very important, but couldn't remember for the life of her what it was. She just knew Zack wasn't to be found in any of his usual places, and that meant two things: he couldn't tell her what to do, and she could finally seek revenge for an unhappy occurrence which had plagued her thoughts (and wardrobe) since Round Two.
"Bloody son of a whore, I'm gonna skin those pricks like sodden' goats!" The cry came to her muffled through the safety of a closed door and she covered her mouth to silence a snort. Leaning against the frame, she cackled into her hands as the telltale sounds of a tiefling's rage erupted within. Her voice echoed in the empty hallway, but her victim didn't hear over his own ruckus.
She liked Aurelius well enough, but she owed him one after their recent showdown. As his colorful cursing reached new heights, smoke filtered through the crack under the door, tongues of dying hellfire licking at Agnie's toes.
This level of distress satisfied the fairy, but she couldn't help herself from pushing it further.
"Aure?" she called out, her melodious voice ringing out over the destructive mayhem contained within the next room. "Is everything quite alright?"
"Ags, you little bastard!" And then, to her delight, something hard met the door with a vicious thud from the other side. The wooden barrier split down the center, splintering under Aurelius' abuse; he wasn't stupid, though. She assumed he threw something at it, having learned before not to simply go charging in when she was involved. Her efforts had met with success, she deduced, as she grinned to the hoarse musical rapture of "Pikin' fairies––!" Then he began pummeling the door with hellfire with unexpectedly renewed fury, and she almost didn't have time to perform the enchantment for her escape.
What spectacle laid just out of sight titillated Agnie to the point of physical pain, but she knew better than to expose herself to his sour moods for the sake of curiosity.
So then, with a simple spell, she was gone.
The demon's walk of shame was truly something to behold as he finally abandoned his room in search of water hot enough to scour the sticky dye from his clothing. In his sleep, the fey's stealthiest of minions had snuck into his room to effectively tar and feather the lot of his possessions. From leather duster to his most beloved blade, Aurelius found himself decked out in the most noxious shade of pink imaginable. This was made all the more infuriating by a heavy dusting of iridescent glitter, adhered smartly to the tacky surface of the horrendous paint. He glistened as he skulked through the dimly lit halls of Lornius' accommodations, reduced to a steaming, sparkling phantom.
It was glorious.
