After a long weekend out of work, I came back this morning to find my whole situation has changed.

I got promoted at work, which is obviously wonderful, and on top of that I have also obtained a few new clients for my own business. Both wonderful.

Unfortunately, both sets of circumstances now put time demands on me that mean I have to start making sacrifices. There's sadly no other way to put this - I'm not going to have time for Althanas anymore. At least not while this particular setup stays the way it is.

Unfortunately, this is immediate effect. I have two deadlines which need to be met this week and both mean i'll be working some long hours.

So, well, I apologise to everyone who was looking forward to threads they were in with me. I can't promise that I can finish them I'm afraid. Most of all I apologise to Flamebird and Revenant as I'm not going to be able to finish Finger of God's judgment. The staff will take that on now.

See how the next week goes, see how you go. You've got an amazing kid and are amazing yourself. Hopefully we'll still be able to write to one another to some extent.

Life comes first, always. Check how your time goes, and use Althanas always as a back up if you need it for relaxation. Be happy, do what you want only.

Congratulations, but I agree with Phi 100%. The expectation that your time will be completely wiped off the map may very well be true. It also may prove to become manageable again, either immediately in smaller doses or over time as you become more adept at the new job.

In the interim, I will push our thread forward and bunny the everlasting hell out of Shinsou until either the thread is over or you're able to return. You know you've always got a seat at the table with me.

Thank you everyone, sincerely. My new position makes me the practice manager of my accountancy firm (in my main job), and I expect that the demands and responsibilities placed on me will keep me, at best, to sporadic appearances here in the foreseeable. It certainly rules out being able to help on staff to any effective degree, which is probably my biggest regret as I love judging and helping new characters to bed in.

Storm, it has been (and will always be) an absolute pleasure writing with you. You have my permission to take the Brotherhood in any direction you see fit, and use / bunny Shinsou however the hell you want until / if I get back. You’ll probably write him better than I did! But thanks. I'll be back to take that seat someday.

Dirks, Storm now has overall control of any Brotherhood related FQ’s and missions that I had listed.
