Goals and Purpose:

To establish a chain of profitable enterprises across Salvar / To control the Salvaran black market + the black markets of other countries

Silence The Witness: Someone has stumbled onto one of TSM's warehouses with the new drug 'Grow'. He has appealed to the city guard and will have an armed escort to testify in a safe location. Make sure he doesn't get out of town alive.

Eliminate The Competition: We're not the only ones running the slave racket around here. Infiltrate our competitors and destroy them from the inside.

New Charters: Convince local mayors to allow The Company to expand into their towns/cities. Erect buildings such as The Company Inn and The Company Bank. Make sure nobody gets in the way. (combination quest, Executives/Captains only)

Ring of The Sun (or RotS): A massive ovular ring of 8 meters height and 5 meters width that allows instantaneous transportation between it and another ring. Currently, one is located in an undisclosed location in Salvar, while another is in an equally secret place in Corone.

Well, we could kill two birds with one stone. Esmerelda needs an IC owner, and you need someone that can slip into secure places via small cracks without raising alot of alarm or suspicion.

I OOCly want to join, and she would be VERY loyal.

Ideas for you can be some simple ones: Smuggling something through the country that other rival mafias/gangs/state want or abolished.

Scouting missions that entails sneaking into city halls and digging up dirt on higher respected people of the state.

Gathering up a few people and going around the town destroying buildings and offering protection with another group that cleans up, for a fee of course. (eventually the original protectors come to stop you)

And of course doing a full blown mafia vs mafia fight, including the set up in the thread before the showdown. Those ideas are what I got. Take em or leave em.

Since the BB appears to have died (again), Poison would be interested in something like this.

I'm also currently working out a quest that will take her to Salvar to eliminate a crime lord there (personal vendetta). After which, she'd be quite happy to take up more jobs, though she might prefer to be more or less stationed in the Corone area. At the moment, she also developing a relationship with another PC (Nightstalker) who is currently in Corone. She wouldn't have a problem traveling either.

Esme: Maybe you can bust out a powerful Salvaran expatriate from an Aleran supermax (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supermax) prison. I'm having it be canon that Rayse, in his youth, was confined to this prison, and it's basically divided into two sections: Regular cells, which are stone chambers with metal doors, and anti-magic cells, for prisoners who can get out of the former cells. Since Esmerelda doesn't use magic, she could infiltrate the latter from the former (which may require getting busted intentionally), gain the trust of this powerful NPC who has been locked up for 20+ years, and break him out with some The Company assistance on the outside. I don't have anymore details for this since it's just off the top of my head, but there you go.

Enig: Before the war, Rayse ran a small smuggling operation out of Knife's Edge. Most of the criminals from those days are dead or definitely not doing major crime operations, but the few that do might recognize him. That kind of baggage could be a problem down the line if The Company wants to look legit. So, Rayse could go around, negotiate with the various crime lords that are still around, see if they recognize him and then have them arranged to be taken care of, absorbing their assets and enterprises in the process.

The protection racket is fairly common too. Bust some things up with TSM, then come in with TC and offer mercenary protection. Deal with any vigilantes.

Poison: Any sort of mission can apply in Corone or whatever region you want. The Company is really the one trying to build up Salvar, while The Salvaran Mafia is more or less everywhere.

Let me put this out there: Anyone who completes a mission that benefits The Company in some way, be it assets/property, money, trade, anything you can think of, I will personally award you an extra gold bonus of anywhere from 100 to 500 (based on the size of the gain for The Company) from The Company coffers. Anyone who wants to show some administrative abilities will be eligible for Executive/Captain positions following one thread benefiting The Company. Also, I think it would be a good policy for anyone in these 'dual' positions to adopt a pseudonym, since people in these positions are more or less doing the same things as Rayse.

I'm willing to help out/participate in any threads you guys think up, like if you need details or some NPC GM'ing or whatever. Full-fledged participation would probably burn me out pretty quick, remember that you don't have to have every thread divided evenly among all the participants in terms of post count: Personally I'd like to see more players take small, brief roles or guest appearances in other people's threads more often. Hell, a lot of solos could be entirely avoided by having people add their own perspective to an NPC or their own character in a small role. Even the smallest thing would enrich the community as a whole rather than having an archaic 'you're either in or out' tradition of participating in threads.
