~Personality/Psychological Profile: Nosdyn is a demon from the war-torn land of Haidia. He is a very serious/collected individual. He always gets the job done, regardless of the cost for the job. Even if it involves sacrificing allies or loved ones. Nosdyn hails from a particularly ravaged region of Haidia. He has seen his share of sacrifice and loss. Haidia's situation is now one of constant strife and warfare. That has become Nosdyn's total reality, the life of the blade. He knows no other life. Strength allows the Demons of Haidia to prosper, and it is a society that worships the old Demon gods. Nosdyn does not follow the old gods, but rather, his own strength and code of conduct. He is currently a soldier for his battle squad as the Demons are attempting to rebuild Haidia. Nosdyn is currently a no-name cadet. However someday...
~History:
Haidia is a war-torn, dangerous region of Althanas.
Those who survive in it's unforgiving fires are forged into legendary Demon Generals.
A few become Overlords.
Nosdyn's Father was one such Overlord, they allied with Overlord Zieg during one of the more recent Demonic incursions.
Nosdyn's family prospered as a result, where many others failed. Nosdyn was admitted early on into the Demonic military academy. There, he worked hard in a brutal environment to become of the finest soldiers that graced the academy's halls. Nosdyn graduated at an early age at the top of his class. He excels in brute demonic military tactics. Further, he takes great pleasure in making his enemy suffer. Nosdyn is NOT a nice individual. He goes out of his way to keep people at arm's length. He's a soldier first and foremost. He only allows a very few close allows to know what he is thinking at ANY time. He views most other races as pawns or pets, but would befriend fellow villains. Nosdyn hopes to someday assist in the conquest of Althanas...this was his story.
~Appearance/Description:
A Demon soldier of average height and build.
Nosdyn has dark blue skin.
There are exotic patterns etched in black on his skin that resemble tattoos.
He is INCREDIBLY physically well built.
He has a medium length ponytail and his hair is black.
His hair is tightly cropped and well combed.
Nosdyn has strongly defined and sharp facial features that are characteristic of his Demon Tribe.
Nosdyn has green blood.
Nosdyn has gold/yellow eyes. (Think: Sith from Star Wars.)
~Skills:
1-Leadership-Nosdyn has leadership capacity. He was required to learn to lead as part of his academy training, though he would prefer not to. However, to advance his career he accepts the mantle of leadership and makes leadership decisions where his squad is involved. He is currently a cadet, but shows great promise as one of Haidia's most prominent students. With his Leadership, Nosdyn is capable of inspiring those around him to continue to fight, or perform whatever activity they are currently working on. Nosdyn does not like to socialize on a personal level, but to better the cause of the Demons, he will do what must be done.
2-Military Tactics-Nosdyn is quite capable thinking on the fly. He is an above average tactician strategist, and can see through most problem fairly quickly. Nosdyn can solve most military related problems in a few turns, depending on the situation and it's complexity. He is currently Above Average with this skill. His capacity to see what most don't see has earned him great accolades as a cadet in the demon Academy.
3-Sword Combat/Blade Mastery-Nosdyn is Above Average with the use of his chosen energy weapon. He is capable of skilled counters/parries, and other combat related matters. He also is skilled in the maintenance and upkeep of his chosen weapon.
~Abilities:
(I will limit this a bit since I'm requesting a slightly stronger weapon.)
1-Mantle of Fear (Passive)-Being near Nosdyn triggers this passive effect. For non-Demons or those with STRONG fortitude, people become instinctively afraid of Nosdyn. It is almost as if he is a physical incarnation of fear itself. Demons give off panic auras, and most other races do not like them already. Nosdyn is a particularly nasty individual and has this added effect as a result of his training into the dark arts. The Mantle is a passive ability, but once it is broken by an affect or someone else, it has to be reactivated. It takes approximately two turn to reactivate if a strong individual or item/effect has broken it. Nosdyn does NOT have to concentrate to maintain this ability it is a natural passive as part of his race.
2-Battle Rage (Buffing)-This ability is one of the traits Nosdyn has acquired in his military training. For about one turn after it's activation, Nosdyn goes into a berserker rage. As long as he is under the effects of it he can hit harder and faster with his beam weapon. His capacity to deal damage is increased to about 2.0x's it's normal base capacity. Further his chance to land critical strike is increased by the same amount. The effect currently only last for one turn. It can be reactivated afterwards, but it requires concentration for each consecutive use. Further, the ability has a 3-turn cool down.
~Equipment/Weapons: (I don't know what are the rules on Beam Weapons, but I will try to make it fair.)
Weapon-Runed Beam Blade-(Masterwork) An elegant black weapon handle that generates a dark purple energy beam. The energy beam is equivalent in strength to an Iron sword. It can be upgraded through a special process later on in Nosdyn's adventures. It can effectively be used for parrying equivalent strength metallic blades/blunt weapons. It is a terrifying weapon that emits a very peculiar humming sound. (Think: Lightsaber from Star Wars OR Beam Swords from Gundam)
Armor-Nosdyn wears a thick leather vest, leather gauntlets, pauldrons, leather baggy pants, and a pair of leather boots. (Full leather armor basically) He also wears a cloak and wears utility belt for small items/etc. The belt has an attachment for his beam sword.
