Hi there, trying to figure out how much it would cost to get some scales made into a set of armor, just torso armor at the moment? Nevin can supply the material for it if he has enough.

It would depend on the type of scale you are looking to make it out of.
Various scale-associated hides and scales exist. In order of least expensive to most the 'hides' go: drakescale (teir 3), young dragon scale (teir 4) and then sea serpent scale (teir 5). You've also got ancient dragon scale that you cannot buy and must quest for the materials for.

For torso armour how much are you looking to cover? The whole back and front?

If so the basic costs would be around:

Drakescale - 675 GP
Young dragon scale - 900 GP
Sea serpent scale - 1350 GP

Bazaar note: these are made with the material size being akin to leather as they are all hides.

I was thinking of using the stuff I got as spoils, but didn't realize I pretty much had enough to get a T3 armor as it was. I'll probably just go with that as a standard front/back piece of armor.

After discussion in chat there would be more costing as follows:

Drakescale - 900 GP
Young dragon scale - 1200 GP
Sea serpent scale - 1800 GP

What I am offering is we go for the first one (drakescale) and I'll make up the difference with my own money as it was my mistake made.
