If you would like to create a character who from the beginning is more "advanced" than the normal level 0 start, you can. But there are some rules involved, and you will have to prove your worthiness by roleplaying with another character first.
Those players who wish to play a new character and don’t want their old one hanging around may get rid of the old one and save a portion of the EXP for a new one. The process is simple, but be warned, the process is permanent. Only redistribute if you truly wish to remove the old character from play.
The rules are as follows;
1. You must Post a new profile for your new character in the Character Update forum. The profile will have experience equal to half the experience of the character you are giving up. So a character with 10,000 exp will have 5,000 exp to start and be level 2.
2. You must post with the account that is being forfeited to confirm the account is yours and not someone else who you are screwing over. It’s a simple formality just post once with the old account stating it is the one being forfeited.
3. The RoG mods will look over your profile, modify it as required, then approve it. At this time an Admin will go through and change the EXP to reflect the characters level.
4. In order to forfeit a character, that character must be approved by the RoG and be playable.
5. You will receive 200 gold for starting, the original character’s gold will be lost to the ages, and the character is retired. Any attempts to role play the forfeited character will be treated as an unapproved character.
Please if you have any questions ask a RoG mod. Also before you go through this process consider if merely questing could not do the necessary change before eliminating an account. If this is not so, then consider this option. Remember the hours and months you’ve put into your old character will be lost when you do this process. If you do want to get back your old character, you would have to start from the very beginning, at level 0, and work your way up again.
