William has continued to reconcile his dual human-demon nature, coming further to grips with his power and the dichotomy that exists within him. Much of his time has been spent researching Kal’Necroth’s tome in the Ixian Knight’s library and a majority of the rest of his time has been spent in various combats.<br />
<br />
Recently, Sei has asked William to accompany the mystic, his daughter Anita, and the three Knights of the Apocalypse residing with the Ixian Knights to the frozen wastelands of Berevar for some unknown purpose.<br />
<br />
<font color="sienna">During the trip to Berevar, William encountered the Thayne Goddess Jomil and underwent the test of Icehenge. Forced to face a duplicate of himself in demon form, William only survived through luck and exploitation his own mindless rage. Succeeding in the test, William was granted insight into his own nature by Jomil, cursed to watch everything perpetually decay in his eyes but learning how best to destroy them in the process.<br />
<br />
Another facet of William’s test was his realization that he didn’t really know how to fight beyond the mindless raging way he did so while in his demonic form. William resolved to rectify this discrepancy immediately and began his martial arts training under the two Ixian Knight instructors, the monk Hotouri and the fighting master Ta’Gaz.</font><br />
<br />
Appearance:<br />
<br />
<font color="sienna">William has achieved complete control over the dichotomy between his souls and is able to switch between human and demon form at will. </font><br />
<br />
Human<br />
In this form, William is an athletic man, tanned and muscular from his years working in the woods. When he is particularly emotional or agitated, black veins of char ripple across William’s body, as if his skin were constantly cracking. He keeps his coarse black hair short. Even when he is acting jovial, there is a shark-like quality to his grin and a gleam of murderous intent in his eyes which now constantly burn like cooking coals.<br />
<br />
William has abandoned the heavy clothes that he used to wear, less self-conscious now of the power existing within him. William still prefers rugged, enduring clothes in colors that blend well with the woodlands that he frequents, and his clothes are covered in dirt and ash. William no longer bandages the parts of his body that aren’t covered by his clothes, though he continues to wear a heavy cloak. <br />
<br />
Demon:<br />
When demonic, William’s frame swells. He grows several inches in height and his athletic build swells, becoming thick and muscular. The molten heat of his power chars and burns his skin from inside, turning his entire body into a broken, blackened mass over red, raw flesh. Spurs of sharp charred bone cover his arms, giving him steel-hard claws that cover his hands and forearms like gauntlets. <font color="sienna">After learning to use his legs as well as his arms in combat, William had grown the same steel-hard bone carapace over his legs, from the tips of his toes to his knees. Like his finger claws, William’s toes grow into razor sharp claws.</font> His teeth, while still sharp as the fangs of a predatory beast, are no longer twisted and jagged. <br />
<br />
Personality: <br />
William remains stoic and humorless in the best of situations. Though he tries to be warm and friendly when the situation demands, he comes off more as unsettling and slightly wrong, as if he is only mimicking human behavior. Though his control over him emotions is much greater know, he is still prone to mood swings, which almost always swing towards anger. This leaves those around him with the impression that he is a short fuse waiting to ignite at a moment’s notice, which of course he is.<br />

Skills and Abilities:<br />

Physical Stats (compared to an average human warrior) are halved in William’s human form.<br />

Demonic Transformation: By calling on his demonic essence, William can transform himself into a demonic creature, shifting between human and demon forms <font color="sienna">at will</font>. <br />
<br />
Revenant Healing: Above Average – William’s revenant physique repairs damage done to his physical form. Minor wounds can now be healed within a matter of minutes, moderate wounds within hours, and serious wounds within days. The healing time for critical and lethal wounds takes a significant amount of time and cannot be done within a single thread unless it too covers a significant time frame. <br />
<br />
Weapon - Axe: Average – Realizing that his claws are not always the best option for fighting, William has continued to work on and improve his combat capabilities with an axe and is now considered to be as proficient as a trained soldier.<br />
<br />
<font color="sienna">Weapon – Martial Combat: Above Average – William’s studies in martial arts and his long hours spent in combat with a variety of opponents has made William skilled in fighting without weapons.</font><br />
<br />
Weapon/Defense - Claws: Expert – William’s claws are his favored weapons and he uses them with good effect. They are currently as strong as steel. William’s bone claws have grown to cover his hands and arms up to his elbows, <font color="sienna">and his legs up to his knees</font>. William can use these to parry and deflect <font color="sienna">moderate</font> attacks as if he were parrying with a weapon of shield.<br />
<br />
Defense - Toughness: Heavy Leather – William’s charred skin if thick and can absorb more damage than normal flesh, acting as armor for the revenant.<br />
<br />
Special Ability - Molten Core: The demonic power that flows through William burns like fire, giving him a surrounding aura of heat. The air surrounding William for up to five feet is intensely warm and slightly uncomfortable. This aura can slowly melt frost or ice around William and shelters him from moderate levels of heat, though it does not prevent him from being frozen or burned.<br />
<br />
<font color="sienna">Special Ability – Destructive Enlightenment: Having completed the Thayne Goddess Jomil’s test at Icehenge, William was granted insight into his destructive nature by the Goddess. This ability is both a blessing and a curse for William, as everything he looks at decays in his sight, showing him the inherent weaknesses and impurities in objects that may be exploited. This ability cannot be turned off. William is still learning how to use this power to its full effect, and as such cannot use it against living creatures. They are too much in flux for this power to be of any use at this time.</font><br />
<br />
Equipment: <br />
Heavy Traveling Clothes – Tough wool and denim apparel that wards off the rigors of travel and bad weather. <br />
<br />
Tome of Kal’Necroth: The tome of ancient magic that Kal’Necroth used to create William’s Revenant body. William doesn’t understand it, but keeps it with him in hopes that one day he can learn its secrets and perhaps undo what was done to him. It is highly resistant to heat and is waterproof.<br />
<br />
Translations of Kal’Necroth’s Tome (2 of 4) – Through his travels, William has found various methods of translating the words and symbols of the ancient tome that he carries. Once he has gathered enough translations, he will be able to unlock the secrets of the infernal sorcerer who created him.<br />
<br />
Deadwood Rod: This rough hewn, bone white rod is long enough to function as a walking cane and is fashioned from the wood of a special grove a day’s march north of the town of Underwood. This wood has roughly the same strength and toughness as Akashima Redwood but with the added property that it absorbs blood that comes into contact with it. The wood becomes warmer as more blood is absorbed, and can grow hot enough to burn bare skin if enough blood is fed into it over a long enough period of time. This wood is also highly susceptible to magical enchantment, using its stored blood reserves to fuel any magic enhancement placed upon it. This rod has no magical properties at this time and has only absorbed enough blood to make it slightly warm to the touch.</div>

Jensen is near six feet tall, where’s black denim pants that are tight boot cut. He has a skin tight black t-shirt made of cotton tucked into his pants. Draped over his shoulders is a fighter’s coat that stretches down to his feet made of low grade leather and heavily modified. The arms are cut to match the length of the middle of his bicep. The front has been cut so it can’t be bound shut and across his neck is a silver chain with a pendent of a lion. He has mostly short brown hair except for two long strips that run down to his shoulders. The two strips are dyed red at the tips. <br />
<br />
<div align="center"><font size="5">Personality</font></div>Jensen is eccentric to the extreme, going to any length to pull a joke or make himself laugh. This isn’t to be confused with making others laugh, as his mentality is very self centered. One moment he could be wining and dining a lady, the next shouting at her to make his sandwich he so rightly deserves after her pitiful failure in the sack. Jensen is normally never sullen or dour, the exact opposite of emo. <br />
-&gt; After years of being out with Stephanie, and months cramped inside the caves with Sei and his lot, Jensen has been warming up to people he sees nearly everyday. If you can overcome the boisterous personality of Jensen Ambrose you’ll find yourself an immortal who can actually be rather civil. <br />

The Enigmatic Immortal Jensen Ambrose has learned the nuances of being a dad and a good boyfriend is rather difficult. Stephanie leans on him for constant support and Azza’s always been a handful when it comes to attention, and for once the immortal is finding himself not being in lime light. Yet that hasn’t bothered him one bit as he lovingly accepts his new roles. <br />
<br />
However, the usual antics haven’t completely been depleted yet. One foul day he and his eternal rival William Arcus battled it out to the near death, both destroying the other for a simple half baked potato. It is also noted that on a routine inspection of the uncharted territories of the paths in Sei’s tomb he and the leader of the Nine found their bodies switched. And of course, the dreaded Noodle Incident…<br />

He assures you, the noodle incident was Felicity’s fault. <br />
<br />
Yet the boistrus, enigmatic personality he has is starting wane, and in one last hurrah he plans two trips, one with Ta’gaz and Stephanie to the mountains, and the other on a journey all his own…</font><br />

Throwing Weapons: Jensen carries upon himself three iron throwing glaives, Triangular in shape with a curve for throwing accuracy and two iron throwing daggers. He is <font color="DarkOrange">Legendary</font> in this. <br />
<br />
Punch Knives: A simple weapon with a handle to grip and a long blade that is the length of a forearm. He has one punch knife, tier steel. He has Expert skill in this. <br />
-&gt; Now Jensen has learned to fight with multiple hand weapons, including claws, quatars, and other esoteric weapons. <br />
<br />
Hand to Hand fighting: If you need an explanation as to what this skill does, retire your character. Depending on the fighting style he employs determines his skills.<br />
<br />
Hand to Hand fighting styles known:<br />
<br />
Flow: Jensen can now stop a fighting stance, move into another, and return if he wished so, so masterful is the immortals abilities in hand to hand combat. <br />
<br />
EX “___”: Jensen has used the same moves repeatedly and has learned from their use the best practical time to use them. When fighting he can boost the speed, power, or grant himself minor invulnerability when performing any of his moves in EX form. To gain an EX move Jensen must wait until full rotation of battle posts has gone by and his turn begins again. (IE in a two player battle, Jensen posts, opponent posts, Jensen posts and gains an EX move.)<br />
-&gt;EX form cannot be used in the first post of the match, as Jensen needs to build momentum. <br />
-&gt;Harness Energy: He can store EX up to <font color="DarkOrange">4</font> times in battle, but attempting to store anymore will not gain him anything.<br />
<font color="DarkOrange"><br />
<b>Super: </b>If Jensen can store up to 4 EX bars in a match, he can unleash a devastating super move that is akin to a finisher, but lacks the epic finality of such a maneuver. Still, it god damn hurts like a bitch! Depending on the stance he is in dictates what move he will be performing:<br />
Caeiporeia- Jensen becomes a slave to his beat as he starts thrashing his legs around wildly. Jensen performs seven kicks, all chaining together for one attack. They can be roundhouse kicks, pinwheel kicks, flash kicks, or any combination of the aforementioned. <br />
Boxing- The Immortal pursues his inner boxing muse by tossing out two quick jabs and lifting up with a violent uppercut. When he lands he jumps up again with another fierce uppercut, and then performs another uppercut, all synchronized to keep the foe suspended or dazed long enough to chain them together. <br />
Salvarian Greco Wrestling- Jensen slides behind his opponent and performs a set of three rolling belly to back suplexes. </font><br />
<br />
Caeiporeia: Jensen enters this fighting state of loose movements and dancing rhythms to increase AGI to <font color="DarkOrange">2.5</font> but lowers END to <font color="DarkOrange">1.00</font> of the average human. <font color="DarkOrange">Legendary</font> in this skill. Jensen no longer gets tired while in this stance, his experiences and battles conditioning him to keep his rhythm without tire. <br />
-&gt; Rhythm: Jensen is so in tune with the beat in his head that dodging attacks has now become second nature to his attacking procedure. The immortal’s DEF while in this stance is 1.75<br />
-&gt; Spin Kick Overdrive: Jensen performs a series of three kicks in tandem by flipping and rotating in the air. The first strike hits at STR 2.0, the next at 1.0, the last at .5<br />
-^ EX Mode: Jensen’s body can rotate even faster, lending timing and precision to his moves. His damage is a flat 2.0 STR for each kick. Uses up one EX bar. <br />
-&gt; Spinning Wheel Kick: A series of kicks to disorientate the opponent, Jensen flips onto his hands, moving in a circular pattern and kick while in the splits like he were a spinning top. Strikes at STR .5 multiple times. <br />
-^ EX Mode: Jensen can activate this ability in a flash of the eye, his body spinning rapidly in place as he clears he air around him. The speed of this attack increases to 1.5, but nothing else changes and he doesn’t travel any distance but instead stays in place. Uses 2 EX bars.<br />
<font color="DarkOrange">Typhoon Kick: Jensen leaps up in the air towards his foe, lifting one leg out and spinning as he slams his foot into the foe three times for quick damage. Each strike only hits at .75 STR.</font><br />
<font color="DarkOrange">-^ EX Mode: Jensen’s body spins so fast that he can cross distance with ease, he can perform this move and spin outwards towards the foe. He can hit him up to six times and travel to close the gap. Each foot he travels takes away from the six hits. (IE a person 6 feet away won’t get hit. A person 4 feet away gets hit twice.)</font><br />
<br />
<font color="DarkOrange"><b>Salvarian Greco Wrestling:</b> The art of grappling and using leverage to submit your opponent and leave them senseless on the ground. Jensen is Above Average.  <br />
-&gt;Suplex- Jensen links his arms around the foe’s body in some way, trapping him in a deep embrace before lifting himself up and backwards, tossing his foe overhead. STR 1.75<br />
-&gt;Power Bomb- Jensen kicks the foe’s stomach and lifts up on his over extended frame bringing him to his shoulders where he drops him flat on his back, sitting down in the process to guide them to the floor. STR 1.5. <br />
-^ EX Mode: Jensen surprises his foe by immediately tucking them in for the power bomb and lifting them, letting them drop on their own accord. STR 1.0, but is instantaneous.  <br />
-&gt; Planted Feet- Jensen while in this stance is hard to move, as he sets his legs wide and is always feeling around to grab at the foe. Jensen’s END is increased to 1.75 while in this stance, but if he ever leaves it he does not gain the stances END boost even when he switches back. <br />
</font><br />
<b>Boxing:</b> The series of applied brutal and strategic punches and jabs for maximum efficiency. Above Average.<br />
-&gt; Punch Drunk: If Jensen is in this fighting style and is beaten to a pulp with blunt damage (No sword strikes and what not) he can laugh the damage off for one post and strike back at 1.75X strength. Then his stats drop to .7 in all fields for the remainder of the battle. (STR, END, DEF)<br />
-&gt; AB Rocket Uppercut: Jensen punches the foe with a series of rolling jabs, ending with a fearsome uppercut. Strikes at 1.25 STR. <br />
-^ EX Mode: Fired by the passion to defeat his foe, Jensen’s strikes grant him heightened resistances to blunt and minor harm while doing the Uppercut. Requires 1 EX bar. <br />
<br />
<i>Mixed Martial Arts:</i> Series of different martial art skills, including Jiu Jitsu, Jensen is Above Average in this skill. <br />
<br />
<b><i>Finishing Maneuvers:</i></b> Jensen can perform a finishing maneuver if sufficient time has been allotted to wearing down the opponent. These moves are devastatingly strong, but do leave the immortal open if he should miss the attack, or worse, the opponent survives. Depending on the Finisher determines the effects. <br />
<br />
He can only perform these moves after four consecutive posts have gone by in battle. After each finisher, Jensen is winded from the exertion of force, leaving him at .25 DEF. Also, he cannot perform any (-&gt;) attacks from his fighting styles until the start of his next post, including EX moves. <br />
<i><br />
Golden Glove Award Winning Punch:</i> After Jensen taunts, he thrusts himself forward in a low slide, coming up with a rolling jabs and punches similar to AB Rocket Uppercut, but instead of finishing with the uppercut, he instead throws a right haymaker, a left haymaker, and whinds up his punch with a spiral lunge into the foes chest. STR 2.0, final hit is at STR 2.5<br />
<br />
<i>Playing Dirty:</i> After a very crude taunt Jensen leaves himself wide open, letting his foe take a sucker punch. When they punch Jensen, the immortal comes back with a gut blow, stomps the opponent’s foot, hits the enemy with a violent head butt, then punches them below the belt. This attack is more of a means to really fight dirty. Needless to say it’s a deal breaker. No added Strength of Ability.<br />
<br />
<i>Rhythm of the Beat:</i> Jensen can feel the energy rush through him, granting him adrenaline to perform the most complex series of moves. It starts with a slide into the foe’s gut with his knee, a half twist back before crashing downwards in a scissors kick. When the foe’s head hits the ground and bounces up Jensen stomps his foot down, twirling gracefully on it before sliding off their skull with a very boisterous bow. AGI 3.0, STR 1.5, Final hit is 2.0 STR. <br />
<br />
<i>And Now For The Finale!</i>: By shouting the phrase: Curtains Rise! Jensen gives into his deepest passions and lets out a brutal combination series of punches and kicks, all moving in tandem and flowing flawlessly like a stage performance. These strikes are numerous and fly out quickly, some high, some low, and some overhead to test the limits of somebody blocking the onslaught. When the onslaught nears its peak, Jensen lowers himself and begins a series of rolling jabs into the opponent’s gut, rising the tempo with each chorus laugh until the final blow, a massive uppercut lifting himself and the foe into the air. When Jensen lands he bows to his foe, chuckling the phrase, “That’s all folks!” Each initial strike before the uppercut is .5 STR, the final blow is 2.0 STR. <br />
<font color="DarkOrange"><br />
<i>Ultimate Emerald Immortal Buster!</i>: Jensen leans into his foe and slides behind them with a quick kick to their gut, grappling their waist and doing a series of two belly to black suplexes, before hoisting the foe to his feet where he spins to their front and hits them in a belly to belly suplex, landing them on their head. As they are down he grabs them by the head and performs a crushing power bomb, lifting them to his shoulders and hoisting them up for added height as he guides them down with a vicious laugh. STR 3.0</font><br />
<br />
NPC Skills<br />
Flirt: Jensen loves to flirt, and will do so with anyone who is pretty looking. To determine if you qualify as pretty you must score a 7 or higher on Sheex’s Woman Watching skills. (He is not my account, but it seemed like a good scale to use.) <br />
<br />
Immortal: Jensen is immortal. No matter what he will come back the next day alive and well. Chop off his head, his nuts, his arm, whatever, he’ll live and laugh about it the next day. This is not an excuse for him to ignore pain or whatnot, and he still feels all pain and suffers effects of the death even in his new life the next day. IE: You cut off his arm, his arm is going to hurt like a bitch for a few days. Cut off his head and he won’t be able to speak for hours after coming back. <br />
<br />
Fearless? No, Just lack of caring: Jensen is not intimidated by Seth Dahlios, Letho Ravenheart, the boogeyman or Jesus. He just doesn’t care because he knows he will die and then come back. This astonishing revelation has left him immune to fear based affects.<br />
-&gt; Jensen however is terrified of pink bunnies. They threaten all he knows and questions his mortality. <br />
<br />
I HATE THAT CREEPY BITCH!: There is no denying it, but when Jensen’s fist crossed Cassandra Remi’s mouth he made an enemy of something far more than just simply phrased dangerous. Aw Come On Steph!: Now that Jensen has found love, his more zanier tactics to get under people’s skin has started to wane. If Stephanie or Azza are with Jensen he’ll tone down the crude insults and not go nearly as far as he normally would to get a rise out of a foe. <br />

Racial Intolerance: Jensen cannot stand Elves, and will treat them with full hostility when in his presence. He is racist towards anything with pointy ears. Dark, Wood, High, Low, Commoner Elf? Whatever, your dead meat as far as he’s concerned. <br />

Nierika Necklace. It offers nothing in the forms of powers, nothing in the forms of skills and will not gain magical power at a later date. It is simply a necklace blessed by a druid so the petals will not wither and die. When Jensen holds it or looks to it he can feel a calmness in his sea of insanity.<br />

<font color="DarkOrange">Froggy: Yup, Jensen can turn into a frog. That was his blessed gift the Thayne Jomil. It takes a post to charge, but after that post he becomes a tiny Salvarian Tree Frog. He obviously gains no benefits while in this form, save anything natural to a frog. It does come in handy when he’s sneaking around however. When he turns back it takes a full post, and he returns back naked. (IE no sneaking into a castle and showing up with all his weapons.) So far, the only thing that actually causes her to become aggressive is a challenge. Rosa sees clear difference between challenges of friendly nature, and those of a competitive nature, and she does not take kindly to the second at all. Once she's been called out, she will stop at virtually nothing to prove her worth.<br />

Really though, she's usually a well-mannered, talkative woman.<br />

<font size="2"><b>Appearance:</b></font> At first glance, Rosa could come off as slightly masculine. One could blame this on her (relatively) short hair, the baggy clothes, or the fact she's not particularly well-endowed in the T&amp;A department. Some could consider these attributes to be attractive, but we won't go into that here.<br />
<br />
Her facial features are not especially remarkable. Black hair frames her face, and occasionally obscures it. Large green eyes observe her surroundings. A small, buttony nose and thin lips rest below. A small birthmark resides just above and to the left of her upper lip. Apart from that, there is really nothing left which is worth noting.<br />
<br />
Her clothes are what you would expect from a nomad, or perhaps even a homeless person. The first thing one would notice is the brown, hooded cloak which covers most recognizable features. Below this garment, Rosa's clothing is relatively simple. A black leather jacket over similarly black pants, and a simple brown shirt underneath aforementioned jacket. <br />

<font size="2"><b>History:</b></font> <br />
<br />
Throughout the ages, the Crowes have been a family of musicians. The late Valentina Crowe was a renowned pianist in her days, and her husband Lucas was equally famous for his musical achievements, as their ancestors once were. And the children they raised were, as expected from those born into a wealthy musical family, trained from the very moment they could stand on their own feet. Theo, the eldest, took after his mother and grew up to be an excellent pianist, whereas Rosanna would learn to play the violin like no other (even though he preferred the guitar even in her childhood for 'the freedom it allowed'), and young Alfred followed in his sister's footsteps. Such was life in the Crowe residence: safe, carefree, and filled with the pleasure that can only be provided by music.<br />
<br />
So, the children grew into adults, and their parents grew elderly, as is common with the passing of time. Eventually, nature will reap what it has sown, and in a freak epidemic, the life of Valentina, mother of three, was taken, soon followed by her children Theo and Alfred. Tenacious by nature, or perhaps through destiny, Lucas Crowe and his daughter (and only remaining child) were left in this world, though understandably shaken. Lucas, caught in perpetual mourning, became more and more introverted, whereas Rosa just wanted to get away from the life from which most of her family was taken. The destination did not matter.<br />
<br />
Needless to say, within a week she'd packed her belongings and was set to leave. Her father, unexpectedly, did not protest. Partially, he did not care; Rosa believes her act of abandonment hurt him, but he was simply too stubborn to admit. This was the kind of man he was. Sadly, Rosa was equally stubborn, and come hell or high water, she would go out and find her way.<br />
<br />
She soon found life as a traveler was not easy, mostly because of the lack of income. However, being in possession of a high-grade, mint-condition violin, work was the least of her troubles. All she needed to do was walk into a tavern, inn or other public meeting place and request a performance.<br />
<br />
Time passed, and Rosa played. Wherever she went, she could perform, and her name would linger, however briefly. One evening, a curious merchant approached her. He recognized the skill with which she played her instrument, and its quality. So captivated was this merchant, that he requested to purchase it from her. Along with a decent amount of cash, he would trade her one of his own guitars. And just as the violin has stolen the merchant's heart, so too did the guitar earn a place in Rosa's heart. The transaction was quickly made, and the merchant moved on. Rosa booked a room for the night, and played her guitar again.<br />
<br />
Only then did it contact her.<br />
<br />
It spoke from silence, and only to her. Or rather, only from her. Within her. Through her. 'It' in this case, would be Revolution Nine, or the demon residing in her guitar. It took control of her and whispered into her mind as it shared its story. This demon had been sealed in the guitar for ages, bound there by powerful magic. It had passed owners many times and would continue to do so long after her death, or... until it was released. It would allow itself to travel with her until such an opportunity revealed itself. And most importantly, it would allow itself to be played. That was its message, and she was left with it when Nine - as she referred to it - exited her.<br />
<br />
Of course, it was never truly 'gone'. The guitar was hers, rightfully purchased, and as long as it was near her, Nine would be part of her. It was a pleasurable companion, as well as economic. It talked, shared storied, listened, yet needed no food or water. There is indeed a limit to how friendly you can get with a demon, but Rosa was well on her way to finding it.<br />
<br />

<i>Musical Prowess</i></font> - For many years, Rosa has made a living off her musical skill, having been trained since she was a mere child. Her expertise lies with string instruments, and she can play these to an exceptional level. Other instruments are played to an average degree.<br />

<font color="SeaGreen"><i>Self-defense</i></font> - Being a traveler, there have been occasions in which a peaceful outcome is impossible to achieve. As such, Rosa has seen a decent amount of fights, although none too serious. With her standard physical condition, she has an average level of skill with bladed weaponry, and below average hand-to-hand skill.<br />

<font color="DarkRed"><b>Nine:</b><br />
<i>Possession</i></font> - From within the guitar that binds his spirit, Nine is fairly useless. Being a demon, however, he does have the capability of possessing a person or animal, allowing him to manifest his powers through them. Possession is - in theory, at least - of unlimited duration, but the target must be in contact with the instrument at all times. Should contact be lost, Nine will lose control of the host, usually within five to fifteen seconds.<br />
<br />
NOTE: The following skills may only be used when in possession of a host.<br />
<br />
<font color="DarkRed"><i>Pyromancy</i></font> - One of Nine's most prominent skills is the power to generate and manipulate fire. Generation can only occur within five metres, whereas manipulation can stretch to a significantly larger twenty metres. The amount of fire controlled diminishes greatly over distance. Note that upon physical contact, this fire can and will injure the host if they are not wearing protective clothing (or if they are not naturally fire-retardant).<br />
<br />
<font color="DarkRed"><i>Demonic Strength</i></font> - Being a demon, supernatural strength is another of Nine's natural features. Depending on the host, this may be used to increase strength and speed to twice their natural level. However, increasing these attributes may prove detrimental to the host, inducing possibly permanent damage, or even leading to death.</div>

From wingtip to tip is roughly fourteen feet. Seven from tip to shoulder, and then two feet from shoulder to shoulder.  In his hand is gripped a holy blade that shines as bright as a fire in the night yet as clear as ice.The blade itself is thirty-six inches long as the hilt itself is roughly six inches.   Around his ankles are shin guards made of iron at this point.<br />
<br />

His skin turns as black as the shadows in the night while his eyes glow a bright neon green. Protruding from his back, just like his angel counterpart are wings. But unlike his angel counterpart, he has demon wings. Scaly and with a bit of a leathery look to them, they're just as long as the angel wings. In his hand gripped with a leather handle lays a double-bladed axe made of steel, till he has the power to make it stronger.<br />
<br />
History: <br />
 Hazritabiel was born in this world like any other person, except there is a problem. His mother was an angel and his father was a high class demon in an army from Hell. Being born of opposite alignments, he was born as both an angel and demon. Shortly after his birth, his father was exiled from the Surface world to stay in Hell till the end of time. So his mother was left to raise him.<br />

One day as he was on his way home from school, he heard around the town that his mother and him were to be banished from the town. So without even thinking, he just runs down an alley way. Only with the books at his side and the clothes on his skin, he ran away into the darkness.<br />

Crispen Richards was not always called that. His first name is a secret hidden away in an angry heart. He was born to a small village in Akashima. One of few children, many eyes were upon him as he grew up, and many eyes noticed soon that the boy didn’t act quite like the others. Withdrawn often and more apt to play alone, he demonstrated characteristics that they had seen before – in boys and girls who had grown up to kill their neighbors, animals or themselves. His parents, a wealthy family who liked their lives simple and free of hardship, sent him away to Alerar. There he entered Orville Norton Institute for badly behaved boys. When his family turned him out, he gave up his name and his heritage and became his own person, or rather, people. These are the stories of the two strongest personalities, completely unaware of each other. <br />

The boy has a deep-seated hatred for Alerarans, Akashimans, Salvarans, Coronians, Raiaerans, Fallienites, Dheaths, elves light and dark, dwarves, faeries, and any other race or nationality imaginable.  In his eyes, there are no salvageable individuals in this world, and holds everyone he encounters in contempt for daring to exist.  Even above all of this hate, however, he tolerates spellcasters and magic users not at all, a prejudice instilled in him by Aleraran society in general, and the Orville Norton Institute's curriculum in particular.<br />
<br />
In his schooldays, he acted the part of a bully, taking out his frustrations and practicing combat techniques on fellow students.  This attitude continues even now that he has graduated.<br />
<br />
<b>History:</b>  From his first days at the Orville Norton Institute, Crispen Richards faced intense prejudice and racism from his schoolmates, not only for being human in a land ruled by the dark elves, but further for being Akashiman, a part of his past he despised himself.  This treatment at the hands of his peers bubbled and boiled in his already unstable mind until he grew psychologically unstable enough, and physically powerful enough to strike back.<br />
<br />
Three long years that took, and by that time he had begun to feel, in his moments of greater rage, as if the ground would shake at his every step.  Knowing the distrust of magic in this technologically inclined country, he kept his newfound power secret.  With time, it grew and he learned to make use of it without relying on it, and more importantly without arousing suspicion.<br />
<br />
Around the same time his affinity developed, he began to lose sections of memory.  He could remember all the things that had been taught, but not the lessons themselves, nor the daily interactions on those days he had lost.  Nothing horrible has yet happened in these blackouts, and so he has now, having grown accustomed to them, begun dismissing them entirely.<br />
<br />
At the age of seventeen, Cris has now graduated the ONI with several letters of recommendation, and received his first contract.  But before that, he must return home, to the small town in Akashima that cast him away.<br />

<b>History:</b>  It was a few years at ONI that Penn first blacked out. He had been eating lunch when pushed by a bully. Falling out of his chair, hitting his head on the table as he went, he remembered nothing when he woke eighteen hours later. His knuckles were bruised, his head throbbing. Confused and upset he went to find the kid who had started the fight, but was quickly distracted. As he went, he saw his face in the reflection of a mirror. A goose egg was standing starkly out against his forehead, one eye bruised and his lip cut. He scowled at his reflection, getting angrier and angrier, until the wooden frame of the mirror burst into flame. From that day onward, he worried and lurked in the library, needing to know more. In the cover of secrecy, for magic was ill tolerated within the walls of Orville Norton, he began to hone his sway over fire. As the years progressed, so it seemed that his blackouts did as well. At fourteen he picked up the bottle, nursing away any worries he had about the fragments of lost memories. Eventually, he convinced himself that the booze was the cause, the dark void of memories only a drunken mishap. <br />
<br />

He can use this three times daily, and the use on the clothes/person of another PC must be agreed upon beforehand. <blockquote><i>Healing Heat</i></blockquote>Focusing his power in his hands, Penn is capable of a healing massage that can fully heal sprains and strained muscles, as well as minor cuts and bruises. </font><br />

Cris and Penn cannot switch who is in control at will. They cannot share skills, and do not recollect anything that happens when they are not in control. Beneath his feet, the Port was a living ant hill. People were spilling in and out of ships, loping in straight lines down the street that led into the city. Several men carried heavy crates from the port authority building to one of the largest of ships. <br />

Every time the Drow spoke, she felt as if she needed a bath. Kor had that effect on her: the hatred they shared was only matched in strength by the life bond that kept them together. <br />

She twittered nervously as she cocked her head to the side, glancing down her beak at his face. It revealed nothing but hunger in his amber eyes. If it weren't for their lives bound together, she'd be dead now. There was an understanding between them of predator and prey, and Natamrael found herself far too low on the food chain.<br />

Kor finally stood, turning his back on the port. In the crowd, clumsy pedestrians unsure on their feet after getting off the ship had been milling around a familiar face. The captain who'd sold him tickets had been a pale elven character. He'd had the youthful, seemingly mild and innocent face of his people, but brimstone had sparked behind his dark earthy brown eyes. Kor had decided, as he began to scale down the ladder that had led up to the roof, that the man had been his kind of people.</div>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>Alright, please keep in mind that I will not be starting this quest (if there is enough interest) until I get my computer fixed and have it all set up and my new place. However, during this waiting period I've come up with an very basic idea for a quest.<br />
<br />
Celebrating some sort of milestone of her rule, Queen Valeena of Scara Brae is going to be attending the performance of some world renowned play or opera at the large theater in the city. For whatever reason you can justify, you're character is either attending, working behind the scenes or even performing.<br />
<br />
Word eventually gets around that a group of people are actually planning on trying to assassinate the Queen sometime during the event. So while individual characters meet up an such, they are challenged with not only seeing if they rumors are true, but also thwarting the assassination while making sure everybody else enjoys the show.<br />
<br />
Yeah, probably done before and not interesting in the slightest bit. However I've always been interested in drama and theater, so I couldn't help but think trying something like this would be fun.<br />
<br />
I'm looking for 2-3 people to join in on this if possible. All I ask is that the characters have some sort of good reason to be at the event.</div>

Scara Brae had many enemies, but some simply fell upon the walls and streets by chance. There was nothing more to their malice than chaos, chance, and the wanton need to destroy.<br />
<br />
The 'Beast With A Thousand Backs', as the people had mysteriously named it rampaged through the city for days before Duffy Bracken sent a messenger to the catacombs of Sei's Tomb in Radasanth, a clarion call for aid from his new found acumen and ally, the Ixian Knights.<br />
<br />
The great claws of the beast had destroyed much of the streets surrounding the docks, leaving rubble, wrath and ruin in their wake. The creature's roar had resounded across the city long into the night, a cat call to other creatures to steer clear or face the rage it held in it's heart. It's thick fur and rippling muscles had proven too much of a natural armour for the city guard, and it still displayed a trophy rack of broken swords, shattered lances and mysterious glowing trinkets thrown, jousted and stabbed into it's hide in an attempt to bring it to it's knees.<br />
<br />
The sun shone over the city and High Noon swift approached. The Tantalum, or rather, those members who still had a fighting chance peered around the corner of an upturned cart and felt the trembling in the earth as the beast rampaged through the abandoned stalls of Market Square. It squashed opulent fruit and tore through silk parasol without a thought or care for the livelihoods of the city folk.<br />
<br />
Duffy frowned, hands twitching by his daggers despite an inkling any attempt to fight the creature with conventional methods would end in disaster. Blank, Lillith and Ruby huddled behind him, their heads in ascending order peeking out comically at their target. The letter sent to the Knights had asked for the aid of the Monster Hunters, and it had asked for them to attend the frontage of <i>Madame Sigrid's Lobotomy's (Free And Easy!)</i> on this very day.<br />
<br />
As the beast roared once more and threw a stall several hundred feet through the market in a rolling cavalcade of destruction, Duffy hoped that the arrival of one of the infamous bounty-men would give the city a <i>Hunter's Chance</i> at bringing the monster down, before it took the island with it.</div>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>My legs nearly failed me as I walked the last few cold miles. Fear crept through my spine, nearly as cold as the wind itself as I saw the house in the distance. I thought of the last time I came to this place, and the memories of drinking hot cocoa with my family were so close to me that I could feel the comforting burn in the back of my throat. <br />
<br />
It had been days since I'd had a proper meal, was that in Knife's Edge? Never mind the details, the energy from that stale bread given by a particularly friendly shop keep was far gone at this point. <br />
<br />
Another whip of the wind sent shivers down my spine and pulled me back to reality. Was it my imagination or did the wind bring with it the hint of a mighty laugh? Oh laughter, so far away. Memories of days spent with Anita giggling as though the world weren't mere days from collapsing around me seemed to warm my soul. Was it really a matter of a few weeks since I'd seen my beautiful sister? Only a couple dozen days since Sei held me in his embrace and wished me well? <br />
<br />
My next step buried my foot deep in snow, and caused me to trip. The wetness soaked through the light shirt I wore, and the cold burned my skin. I pulled myself to my feet slowly and looked around me again. A light layer of snow coated the treetops and the earth. The last light of the day shone with brilliant colors on the white earth, creating a rainbow in the small clearing. A small house stood across the field and from where I stood--It looked like heaven. I braced myself against the cold wind, and took the final steps toward uncertainty.</div>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>The title says it all. I illustrated a bunch of story boards for my animation class last year on a Cintiq. Just because it is easier to upload right away instead of scanning shit up I'm thinking once I get one or something similar I'd like to draw, probably very general, loose, drawings, and/or very polished ones in key parts of my quests. Mainly I imagine the drawings to be more of action scenes, of interesting angles and of complicated explanations. I almost feel that if I say, "Her arm materialized into a blade" I would not be able to indeed get the image across, including all the implications of an arm <i>reshaping </i> into a blade, the gore of altering anatomy, without being overly verbose. That probably just comes from me being an inefficient writer, however. <br />
<br />
I wanted to know what people would think of this. I guess it may depend on the quality of the illustrations too, but generally... Would you find pictures in posts that follow the story interesting, or would you find them distracting.<br />
<br />
Probably the biggest argument someone could make against it is that it almost defeats the purpose of writing; we are meant to imagine the scenes described to us through writing around the details given to us. To many it is almost a pet peeve to imagine a character a certain way and being shown the picture by the author as something completely different, and often, to them, un-cool. However I think that often happens more when the writer is a better writer than an artists, when he excels at portraying a character where I assume, from my writing, that the reader is not imagining my situations properly, actually quite blandly. <br />

Personality: <font color="darkred">Calbrena is Chaos, rarely thinking, rarely planning beyond the immediate future. She has devoted herself to the paths of darkness, and refuses any attempts at salvation, redemption, or any other method of “saving her”. She is what she desires to be. It is difficult to predict what exactly Calbrena will do next, due to her chaotic mindset, constantly changing her plans, altering her desires.</font><br />

Appearence: <font color="darkred">Calbrena has two slightly differing appearences.<br />
<br />
When she's calm, or in a relatively normal state, she has black hair, shiny black horns, four great wings, and dull red skin. Her horns come out of the top of her head and branch, one set curving up in classic fashion, the other set curving down like a ram's horns. Her wings are of a similar fashion. Both sets connect to the same muscles in her back, but branch out from there. Her claws are as they've always been, kept nice and sharp, like small daggers on the end of her fingers. Her tail swishes about on its own.<br />
<br />
When Calbrena becomes enraged, her skin becomes like the embers of a fire. Her hair and her horns glow white hot, and her wings seem to burn. Her eyes go from black to red instantly. This isn't just for looks, she will deliver painful burns to anyone that touches her, and leave a trail of burn marks in whatever surface she's walking on. This state is affected by Hellfire Conditions. When Hellfire Conditions is active, Hellfire will radiate from her presence.</font><br />
<br />
History: Calbrena is the daughter of Aiko, and the powerful Demon God known as Grandfather. She is kin to The Seven Deadly Sins. When Calbrena was young, Grandfather feared what she might become, and so killed her in her sleep one night. To his chagrin, her soul fled into her mother's tiara of insanity, and thus was beyond his reach forever, or so it seemed.<br />
<br />
Her mother's story is a short one, she fled Grandfather and The Seven Deadly sins, and while trying to repair her doll, edward, died under mysterious circumstances. Grandfather thought that was the end of things, and went on to ally himself with a force known as The Dark Man.<br />
<br />
But things it seems, has a way of coming back to haunt those who perpetrate foul deeds, and on a dark and stormy night in Dheathain, a bolt of golden white lightning shot into Aiko's body, taking it away, splitting the tiara in the process.<br />
<br />
Calbrena was free. There are many mysteries in this world, and some it seems, will never be known, at least not right away, and one of them is the mystery of what happened to Calbrena after that. Reports tell of a cute little girl growing up to be a beautiful young woman amidst a troupe of dancers, one of which acted as the young girls mother. Others tell of a frightening demon child that raged through cities and towns leaving death in her wake.<br />
Still, it's the fact that these different tails are all generally within fifty miles of one another that make others think it's the same woman. <br />
<br />
<font color="darkred">After journeying around, she returned to her family, and learned Grandfather's true name. Xith'Rith'Xail, the demon god. After an attempt at corruption went wrong due to the interference of the Orlouge family, Calbrena decided to quest after a legendary power thought to be uncontrollable, sealed away for centuries. Much to the chagrin of her own brothers and sisters, and the horror of her father, and the terror of the holy forces of Althanas, Calbrena succeeded in gaining the unattainable powers of The Eternal Hellfire. Now that she's been empowered and improved by its dark flames, she's set out to burn her mark upon the world forever more</font>.<br />
Skills:<br />
<br />
<font color="darkred">Spirits of The Eternal Hellfire: This in and of itself is not a skill, but it is what has given Calbrena her new skills. When her spirit merged with those of The Eternal Hellfire, it chose her as its vessal to carry it forth into the world. So merged, all of Calbrena's previous skills vanished, save for a few, her knowledge and skills replaced by those Hellfire has given her.<br />
<br />
Offensive Skills:<br />
<br />
Demon's Rage: Taught to her by The Eternal Hellfire, and trained in its usage by The Deadly Sin of Wrath, this technique teaches Calbrena to save up her anger, and bottle every petty irritation that comes her way. In any other species, this technique is unadvisable, but in Demons, like Calbrena, it allows them to release all their anger at once, like an exploding Volcano. What this actually does for Calbrena, is double all her physical attributes for 2 minutes. However, after the 2 minutes, Calbrena becomes slow and lethargic, highly susceptible to any and all attacks.<br />
<br />
Demon's Rage also causes her to take her enraged form, causing first degree burns just by holding her for 15 seconds. Holding flammable objects will cause them to catch on fire, and she leaves a trail of scorch marks behind her. According to the normal rules of her Fire Aura, despite the scorch marks, and the appearance of burning wings, she's not actually on fire, she's just extrordinarily hot.<br />
<br />
Demon's Fist: Gone is the dancing she originally fought with. It has been replaced with Demon's Fist, a standard Martial Arts style available only to demonkind. Hellfire has caused her to become Above Average with this style.<br />
<br />
Secrets of the Drunken Masters: Among the spirits consumed by Hellfire, are those who knew various styles of fighting, whose execution actually benefited from being drunk. When sober, these same styles were poor and almost useless. These styles have been made known to Calbrena, thus when drunk, she is almost as deadly as she is sober. With this she is below-average.<br />
<br />
Magic powers:<br />
<br />
Fire Aura: This power never vanished, but it was altered substantially. Now normal fire burns from Calbrena constantly when she chooses to have it do so, and this consumes no energy. However, it also is an illusion. Yet, if Calbrena chooses, than twice per day, she can make the flames real for one full minute, and they act as normal fire, unless Hellfire Conditions are in effect.<br />
<br />
Fireball: Calbrena can through a ball of fire four times per day. Affected by Hellfire Conditions.<br />
<br />
Essence of the Dark Djinn: Calbrena can grant the wishes of others if she so chooses. This power cannot work, unless a proper contract has been written out, stating EXACTLY what will happen. Each contract differs by situation. As always, be careful what you wish for, you might just get it. However, this power is weak within Calbrena at the moment, and unlike her older, more powerful and experienced siblings, she can only grant minor wishes.<br />
<br />
Hellfire Conditions: By far the single most important aspect of Calbrena's new powers. Once per day, Calbrena can call upon Hellfire in its truest form. This fire burns with far greater intensity and power than any other fire. It appears black, with a red outline. This fire is pure destruction incarnate, and not even most water can stop it, as Hellfire will burn even under the deepest ocean. The only way to actively stop it is to use Holy powers on it, or douse it with Holy Water. Most folks don't have that, but they needen't fear though. Hellfire is weak, never having been used before. With its current strength, which is also Calbrena's strength, it burns everything it touches for a whole 30 seconds before vanishing. Adamantine is immune to this of course. When Calbrena has activated this ability, it must be used in conjunction with her other powers, or it is useless.<br />
<br />
Curse: Neither altered, nor removed by Hellfire, this power was enhanced, to allow Calbrena to curse not only people, but objects and areas as well. No curse lasts more than a day. No curse is more significant than lowering an opponent’s skills by one step.</font> <br />
<br />
Demonhide: Calbrena is a demon, but lacks the legendary toughness of even the inferior demons that live in Haidia. Presently her skin is only leathery, nothing more.<br />
<br />
Demon Claws: Her claws are as Steel when she is in Demon Form.<br />

Wings: She has no skills in flying, her wings being too weak to carry her for any distance. <font color="darkred">She can glide for thirty feet though.</font><br />
