The first episode of the Fauncast is now live!

This week, Philomel, Shinsou Vaan Osiris and Mari discuss staff duties, Mari's character and Althanas Day 2017 whilst also fielding questions about books, shipping and why rice is so fucking hard to get right.

Just to clarify, guys, the 1.5x modifier is for ALL threads finished in September (after Althanas Day). It could be started whenever, including on 3.1.

I'd like to know how you guys recorded this. Maybe I can help improve the sound quality.

Recorded using Amolto, edited in Audacity but I think a lot of the audio quality is down to our respective microphones. I wasn't using my condenser mic (bluetooth headset :/)

Most of my other podcasts have been much better quality using the same method of recording, but I was using my condenser then.

Fauncast Awesomecast: New - establishing your first posts

This week I was joined by Andy aka Briarheart and Nick aka Venex to talk about all things on how to establish yourself as a new writer on the site, how to welcome people on the site, and how to establish a new alt. We answer questions and have an amazing interview with Venex himself.

I'm still listening but I feel obliged to assure everyone that Althanas Day results, including goals and posts, were discussed in Episode 1. Not quite sure what happened there Phi!

I'm listening now but will ahve to listen in a few sections cause one and a half hours is waaayy too long for me to sit through in one sitting, I is too distract.

Hey guys, and comments relating to Althanas Day are to do with that there has not been any further news in regards to it. Hope that helps.

Personally skipped the intro part, cause as much as I love pokemon, 30 seconds of the intro was a little too much. ahahaha.

I'm gonna have to listen to this in sections because an hour and a half is way too long for me to personally sit though. Keep it up!

I didn't know what to edit out so I just went with the first verse of the song (pokemon).

Got about a half hour in and was loving it. Had to pause to take a call. Tried to resume and couldn't the link was no longer working. I now am the proud owner of one sad.

Storm if you click the link again it should work. There was a slight issue before but it should now be fixed.

Hmm. Sounds like my mic was a bit hot. I'll know to turn it down for next time.
