Appearance: Mariah is slim, though petite she has ample curves, her lips are a cherry blood red, almost crimson like her hair. Her skin is dark the darkest olive you can get. Her hands are slim and shapely, the nails on them perfect and painted a fiery cherry red with a black flower design on each red nail. Her eyes are a perfect crimson red with specks of white in them. Her hair is long flowing down to the middle of her back, streaks of white are splashed here and there throughout the bright crimson red. Her normal style for her hair is either loose and flowing with two bright red sparkling barrettes in them to keep it in place, or a loose flowing messy ponytail that looks really sexy. She also wears it occasionally in pigtails when she wants to give off the cute innocent appearance. She has her naval pierced and she wears a really cute barbell that has a rose red gem in it. She also has a lower back tattoo of black and light red heart with spirally black lines connecting the heart to each other, little dots are over each curved line close to the heart and it looks really cute and sexy on her. She also wears a black velvet choker around her neck with a garnet gem shaped like a heart hanging from it. In her ears she wears small garnet studs that are shaped like hearts. Her outfit is a bright rose red halter that ties at the neck and is very low on her back, it shows a lot of skin and just covers the middle part of her back it shows off her lower back tattoo well and it also covers her ample chest well enough but it shows a little cleavage. She also wears tight black leather pants with these that have a bright red heart embroidered on the right pant leg. With these she wears soft black leather gloves where she cut off the fingertips of the gloves. Over this whole ensemble she wears a soft red and black leather trench coat that has a Rose in bright red embroidered on it. The material of leather is very light that was used for the trench coat so her movements are quick and light and no way hindered by the trench coat. She also wears soft black leather half boots on her feet.
Since her old outfit was destroyed she now wears a soft dove grey cloak and underneath she wears a modest white and blue tank top with a soft light blue sweater over neath it and her pants are soft light blue slacks and she wears soft white leather half boots for modesty. She wears this after she was 'punished' by an overly arrogant man, who thought she needed to be taught a lesson for trying to steal from him. She now also had a triangular scar from a dragon's claws tracing down her thigh and her side that will never fully heal.
Personality: Mari is extremely spunky, she can be soft, sweet and laid-back when ya meet her. But after awhile her spunk will show and she’ll be extremely talkative. She likes to tell jokes and see people laugh. However, if you get her mad, or try and wade into her territory she’ll give you her two cents, if you don’t back off she’ll start to argue, and if you don’t’ get the message then her fists will be used. She can be a bit possessive of someone she loves, but she will give them their space if they need it. In a fight she is all attitude and she will use her weapons without thought, if it is a fight to the death she will try her best to win at all costs. She can be a bit cold blooded but she won’t kill you if she doesn’t have to.
While her personality is still similar to her old one, she is now also more cautious around men. She doesn't like to be left alone with them for too long and she prefers if she is leaving from her new home, to go out with at least one or two escorts to help her if she gets into trouble. She also can now be a bit more quiet and demure in her original personality.
Weapon: Lash knife: A chain with a sickle blade on it. Mari’s Lash knife is made of completely steel. The chain part is steel as well as the sickle part.
Skills: Lash Knife-She is averagely proficient with use of her lash knife now, she learned the use of this weapon from her father. And knows how to fight and use this weapon with medium skill.
Dance- She knows how to dance well, and use her body well and sway and move her hips and body in tune with the music she hears around her. She can also use her dancing skills, to move and evade in battle if she needs too. However the exertion from her body using her muscles to dance will tire her out, so if she uses this skill to long to evade, she will find herself exhaust and unable to dodge any attacks coming her way. She is only human after all!
Hand to Hand Combat- She is decently skilled at this now. Medium skilled at best, she can block and attack any enemy or obstacle before her if she finds herself weaponless. Though she still isn't nowhere near perfect at hand to hand combat. Over time she will improve with this skill and be able to fight and defend herself better from attacks coming her way.
Abilities:
Special trait: Illusion’s Shadow: For some strange reason, even though Mariah has enchanting magic, she can also create a duplicate of herself by spilling a drop of her blood on the ground. Before the blood hit’s the ground, Mariah says a simple chant. The simple chant is this “Blood of my life, mold and shape another me. Create a duplicate of myself to fool mine enemy.” Upon saying this chant a double image will form of herself. She uses this to fool and trick and enemy or to evade an attack. She can use this once or twice per post.(She’ll be able to create more duplicates of herself as she levels up.)
Snake Bite: Using her Lash knife, Mariah will throw out the sickle towards her enemy then do a few spinning turns in place, maneuvering the sickle to stab her opponent much like a snake would strike before a bite. This will maim her opponent lightly and injure them just a bit more then one of her normal attacks would, seeing as how she also slightly enchants her Lash knife with a very weak enchantment. The damage caused by this attack is strength Tier 1. (The injury caused by this attack will increase as well as the enchantment will as she levels up.)
Strengthen: Being a thief who is able to enchant things has its pluses. With this spell, Mariah can enchant her Lash knife to make her attacks just slightly stronger. The enchantment right now is weak, and this spell only strengthens Mariah’s Lash knife a slight amount. , it doesn’t last very long though, only for about 1 post at most 2 posts.. It basically strengthens Mari’s attacks slightly.

Healing herbs: The herbs she carries are magical in which they can heal small to medium wounds with ease but they have to be ingested they won't work if the herbs are just pressed to the wound, they must get into the bloodstream in order for the healing properties to take affect. So in order for the herbs to work they must be eaten.
History: Let go back to the time before Mariah was born, to the time when her parents were still single. Mariah’s mother’s name was Liana, Liana Araway, she was a petite woman about 5’2 with features very similar to her daughter. The only difference was her hair was pure crimson and she had crimson eyes. The white in them came from her father, whose name was Lazerus Mitami. He had dark olive skin and striking pure white hair and eyes. He was called a beauty by his parents as a child. Liana also was called a beauty. Both her parents features were rare for humans to have and those both Liana and Lazerus were spoiled rotten. Both of them lived in a town in Radasanth, which is located on the continent of Corone.
They both lived in the same village, but ironically neither met the other until they were 8 years old. It seemed that neither had many friends due to them being such special children to their parents. When they first met they both blinked and rubbed there eyes , then they said at the same time “Wait a sec?! There’s another one with different hair and eyes?!” After saying this they both had run off and told their parents of this. Their parents had laughed at each of their child and then had proceeded to meet with the others family. When they met, Lazerus and Liana were sent to a spacious toy room to play and get to know one another better. On that day and over a period of three hours, a marriage plan was discussed and it was agreed upon that Liana and Lazerus would spend their childhood in one another company.
From that day on Liana would go over to Lazerus house for tea sometimes, and sometimes for a ride on one of the family’s ponies. As she grew, she grew into quite a bright red flower of beauty. Soon Lazerus had nicknamed her ‘The Crimson Rose” For he was entranced and enthralled by her gorgeous beauty. Liana had been so memorized and blushed by his sweet nickname that she came up with a pretty nickname for Lazerus which was “The Snowy Dove” A compliment to him for his pure white soft eyes, and silky smooth white hair. After they had each given each other a loving nickname, love soon blossomed between the two.
When love blossomed between them they both were about 16, young to be lovers, but then their parents didn’t seem to mind. In fact their parents were overjoyed and ecstatic that Liana and Lazerus had grown to love each other. Soon that love blossomed into something much deeper, into blossomed into an inseparable bond, it moved into true love. When Liana was 18 and Lazerus was 19, Lazerus asked his beautiful Crimson Rose to be his wife. Her heart swelled upon hearing her Snowy Dove ask her to be his. Unable to do more then weep tears of joy, she tenderly said yes to him and they sealed the proposal with a loving kiss.
Shortly after Lazerus purposed to Liana, their parents planned a huge and expensive wedding for their two darling children. Over the years the two families had become very close-knit, so Lazerus’s mother and Liana’s helped Liana pick out a gorgeous wedding dress. Liana’s father and Lazerus helped Lazerus do the same for a tuxedo. Soon the two were married and moved into a pretty house near a lake.
A few months of blissful happiness passed, soon though a special surprise befall Liana, after a night of extremely passionate love making, the special beautiful girl found herself pregnant and with child. Lazerus was thrilled, he was beyond thrilled he was in heaven. His wife would soon bless them with a child and brighten up their gorgeous home even more.
Over a period of 9 months Liana was moody but happy, Lazerus catered to her needs when she asked, so she wasn’t that moody while pregnant. On a day in autumn with leaves of bright colors strewn around their yard, Mariah was born, she was an easy birth, she didn’t give her mother much trouble, though even young she showed spunk. The minute she came out her arms were flailing wide and her eyes opened looking alert and ready. She even moved her arms towards her mommy wanting to be near her mommy. She was her parents jewel, and thus since her parents had been spoiled by each of their parents, she in turn was spoiled.
By the time she was 4 years old, her room was filled with so many stuffed animals, she could do some unsteady dancing and fall safely on a cushy teddy bear or stuffed unicorn. So under her mother’s supervision she learned a few basic spins and twirls when she was 4. Her father would watch his little darling daughter dance and sometimes would take his wife into his arms and twirl her around and dance quite seductively with her. Liana was a great dancer and she knew a lot so she could do quite the dances with her husband. Soon at this young of an age Mari could already twirl and such with somewhat ease, though every now and then she would fall flat on her face onto one of her stuffed toys.
When Mariah became 8 years old, her mother decided to take her under her wings and teach her as many skills in dancing as she could. Mariah was a fairly quick learner, in a matter of 6 to 8 weeks she had mastered the basics of hip-hop, ballet and was just starting to get the hang of swing dancing, her mother was extremely proud of her and each time Mariah learned the basics of a certain dancing style, her mother would go out and buy her a new outfit or some other bauble her daughter desired.
At around the same time her mother started to teach her how to dance, her father showed her his Lash Knife and explained to his little girl how to use it. Curious, Mariah asked her father to show her how to use it. After a quick demonstration, Mariah immediately grew attached to the intriguing weapon. It was like an art, and she loved the smooth way her father moved when he used the Lash Knife. So in a matter of one week, Mariah had convinced her father to train her on how to use the Lash Knife. It was hard at first for Mariah to get the rhythm smooth, she was only 8 yea, but dancing seemed easy, this was a lot harder than she thought. Laughing her father begin to help her get the hang of it more, under his guidance she begin to learn and soon she wasn’t dropping the Lash Knife so much nor making it fall short of the target dummy her father had set up near the lake on their property.
Over the years, Mariah worked hard to hone her dancing abilities to perfection as well as to become proficient and skilled in the use of the Lash Knife. It took her a period of 6 years, but now she could dance, twirl, dip, spin, swing her hips, and twirl around and go on Pointe with ease. Her dancing skills had become well learned. As for her skill with the Lash Knife, she had finally become proficient in it, it had taken a lot of hard work, a lot of healed cuts and scrapes and a lot of patience from her father. But at 14 Mariah could now use the Lash Knife with ease. She didn’t’ make it look like a simple dance like her father could, but she did have her own style and flair with it which she was pleased with. Her father was very pleased with her as well and he had said to his daughter pleasantly. “Well darling if you improve a bit more I’ll be able to get you your on Lash Knife.” These words had thrilled Mariah to the bone and she had literally tackle hugged her father in joy. That had caused her sweet mother a laugh and a wink from her pretty white haired father. Her Crimson haired mother then had whispered to her father, which Mariah had heard ‘She’s quite a beauty isn’t she? She has a mixture of us both, her eyes are a gorgeous crimson but theirs a softness to her eyes, added by the flecks of white that dance around in them, also her crimson hair is so soft so pretty, but the white streaks just add a softness to it, she looks like a Snow red rose doesn’t she? I think that should be our nickname for her, our Snow red rose!” Lazerus had laughed at that and then he pulled his wife into a loving embrace murmuring against her hair. “Indeed darling, she is our Snow Red Rose and our beauty as well, we creating quite a gem didn’t we love?” Liana had blushed then and had kissed her husband’s forehead whispering gently. “Yes, yes we did!” After that Mariah’s mommy and daddy had disappeared for a few hours leaving Mariah to train some more with the Lash Knife alone. Mariah had then trained hard for her own Lash Knife but curiosity had her wondering what her parents were doing. However, she was a dutiful daughter and didn’t want to bother her loving parents.
2 more years have passed and Mariah is now 16 and has now finally become proficient fully with a Lash Knife. This pleased her father immensely and as a reward for her hard effort he bought her a shiny new Lash Knife made out of steel. The chain on it was so shiny and the sickle so sharp and new looking that Mari could help but name her new weapon “Cat’s Claw” because the shape of the sickle reminded her of a kitty’s claw. After this she trained with her new Lash Knife and soon she could handle this Lash Knife just as proficiently as she could handle her father’s Lash Knife. Her mother thus complemented her next on her ability to dance well, showering her with a Garnet choker and stud Garnet earrings as a reward. From that day forward she always wore the choker and earrings and carried her Lash Knife with her.
Soon 2 more years have passed and Mariah is now 18 and feels she is ready to try something new. She loves both her parents greatly, they gave her a great and terrific childhood and kept her out of trouble, so she is sort of sheltered. However, she does want to know what the world is like, what Althanas is like outside the city of Radasanth. So after her 18th birthday she asked her parents if she could travel around Althanas. Knowing that their daughter was safe after taking some classes in self defense and being able to wield her Lash Knife well, her parents gave her permission to travel. Dressing in the outfit she thought would make her look the hottest, she gathered her Lash Knife some healing supplies and other supplies and then bid her parents farewell. To ensure that their daughter was safe they gave her about 200 gold pieces to use for her travels and a kiss on each cheek. With her parents blessing she now travels Althanas in search of new adventure and as well as perhaps a little trouble. What her parents didn’t know is she had become a sort of thief and had learned how to enchant objects. This was a new skill which she is still learning about, she hopes to improve this skill on her travels and to meet new and interesting people.
Mariah's life has changed dramatically since she has left her parent's home. She is now a full fledged Thief and her new home is at the Lavinya Thieves Guild. The reason why she lives there now is when she was in Kachuck she tried to steal two items from a young man, and much to her dismay she was caught and 'punished' by the arrogant man. This punishment left her badly broken and she would have died soon after had it not been for Seth Dahlios taking her to his home in Lavinya and helping her be initiated into the Guild itself.
However, before this even occurred Mariah had been introduced into a caravan troop in Haidia where she had met Sarah Dahlios and one Brock Rudgren. There she had helped a group of demons moving to a new settlement. However, the party had been attacked by a vampric dragon and Mariah had suffered a bad scar on her thigh from blocking the dragon from attacking the children she had been assigned to protect. From this experience she now has a scar on her body that will always be there.
Now she is done with her training at her new home and her theives skills are better than they used to be. For now the girl is content living with her new family and is waiting to see what goes on in her life. She knows that her mother and her father are worried about her and they want her back home, but now the girl feels as if she shouldn't go home and she is content to live where she is staying now.
