Obituary: Ursula Le Guin

Because I know a lot of us read fantasy and science fiction and are inspired by it, then this news will effect us all. Unfortunately Ursula Le Guin passed away today at the age of 88. She was the author of the fantastic series of 'Earthsea' and also wrote a great many connected sci fi novels (the Dispossessed as a brilliant example). There is no official announcement up yet on her website but the Guardian (British newspaper) has a lovely section that is linked below.

Along with CS Lewis and Tolkein I have heard her regarded as one of the greats by several people. So long Ursula. X
