Personality:
Introverted, intelligent, apathetic, brooding, sarcastic, and bitter. Hylda tends to be in a foul mood, always, rolling her eyes at social situations and people as a while. She leaves Delicia to do the talking as she thinks over theories and magic in her head. An early scholar, Hylda is often times seen reading a book and studying. She desires knowledge and thirsts for power. She and Delicia share a need to attention and success, as they work together to achieve the approval they never got growing up. Beneath it all, Hylda is wounded from her lonely childhood. The inattentive, spitfire persona is just a surface, hiding someone who deeply desires love and affection. Maybe, she would not desire control and power if she was given the care of a tender family. Deep down, Hylda really does care for people. Hylda has an unawakened desire to be a hero more than anything else, but is currently too self absorbed to really see it. In time, perhaps she will grow into to role of a true heroine.

Personality:
By nature, Delicia is kind, timid, respectful, orderly, sweet, and caring. Unwilling to fight with anyone, yearning to gain the approval of everyone, Delicia tends to be too quick to please. She enjoys people and animals, her tender and thoughtful nature making her easy to be around, alongside her soothing aura. Delicia is a healer at heart, yearning to help people in the world and ease their pain. However, she does have some darker traits. She is surprisingly materialistic. Attracted to the ways of convention and homeliness, she is all about fashion, the latest trends, and wealth. She always is sure to reincarnate within a wealthy family, just to be sure. She desires approval and praise amongst the crowds, and will use a silver tongue and social advantages to get it. She is still modest and moral, however, and is unwilling to cross moral lines to achieve her desire for success. She deeply cares for other people, unwilling to hurt others even in constructive criticism. She struggles to understand what she wants in social settings at times, unwilling to stand up for herself when cornered. She is very sensitive and shy.

• Botany and Alchemy, Expert: She is an expert with herbs and potions. She can make many medicines and poisons and identify multitudes of plants from a diversity of continents. She does not use this skill often, however, as she simply grew uninterested. It is still helpful if the need arises.

• Cleaning: Having done housework for hundreds of years, she is an expert at leaving the floor, counter, or whatever have you completely spotless. She has an eye for messes, annoyed when people do not clean up after themselves.
• Psychology: Carrying a certified degree to drive it in, Delicia is a solid psychologist. She knows how (most) people think, understands thinking patterns, and carries a great deal of social skills behind her. A compassionate and gentle soul, she tends to act a counselor when she’s in control of her shared body.
• Social Skills: Delicia has a bit of a silver tongue. She absolutely loves people, enjoying their company. A sweet, somber soul, she is polite and generous with others. Her social skills are bolstered by her knowledge of psychology.
• Historian: Delicia my not remember her past lives, but she understands the recent histories of Althanas as if she has seen them – because she has. She has a solid recounting of historical events and statistics of up to around two hundred years past. She has a solid memory of historical data.

Abilities:
• Healing: “Ar'Tuel can heal wounds at a single touch. The strength of their healing abilities differs from their experience and levels in the magic used. The more they use it, the stronger it gets.†As a young child, sharing the body of an average human, the Ar’Tual abilities are a bit hindered to Delicia. As of now, Delicia can heal small scratches, bruises, and cuts with ease. However, moderate injuries (ranging from broken bones to cuts to bruises) can only be healed three times per day. Life threatening injuries {ranging from broken bones to cuts to whatever else) can only be healed once per day. (A day as in 24 full hours of passing.) She cannot heal herself, only others.
• Calming Aura: “Ar'Tuel have a naturally calming aura about them, and can instill a sense of peace and serenity in living beings around them, the effectiveness of this differs depending on the willpower of those around them. This extends to wildlife, and gives Ar'Tuel the ability to interact with wildlife without harm, unless that wildlife is particularly aggressive.†To those without willpower or immunity to emotion manipulation, Delicia has an aura that helps people to relax and calm down, more likely to react and behave in a pleasurable, sociaciable, peaceful manner. This aura also extends to animals, as Delicia can freely interact with peaceful, willing animals (animals suffering from rabies or corrupted animals do not count.) This aura extends to a ten foot radius.
• Rejuvenation of Flora/Nature: “Much like their calming aura, the presence of Ar'Tuel have the ability to refresh and rejuvenate various plants, and flora. Causing wilting flowers, leaves and the like to spring back to life. This is a passive effect and constant use of it is draining for Ar'Tuel, and will often leave them feeling tired and requiring rest.†Delicia’s aura extends to a ten foot radius.
Past Lives:
A younger Ar’Tual, Delicia has had fewer past lives than most of her kind. However, she kept the recessive skills of each life, forwarding her chances of success in her present and future lives.
• Life One – An Alchemist: An expert botanist and doctor, the Ar’Tual used her healing abilities and connection to nature at her full advantage. She lived a long and healthy life, married and successful.
• Life Two – Died Young: Married as early as sixteen, the girl met an unfortunate end when a sickness swept through her home town and killed her.
• Life Three – Just Your Average Girl: She lived what one would consider an ordinary life, a housewife and mother of four. No extraordinary deeds or professions in this life. She died within her fifties due to murder.
• Life Four – Another Kind of Doctor: Although she spared the memory of her own murder, she still felt scarred and confused going into her next life. This time around, intrigued by the way many darker types thought, this reincarnation studied psychology, hoping to learn what makes people tick. She lived the greatest life since the first, becoming successful in wealth. However, she never married and lived in loneliness in this lifetime as well.
• Life Five – Present: This present life, where she somehow joined forces with the natural owner of the next body’s soul, as opposed to Ar’Tuals usually being the sole possessors.

Appearance:
With dirty blond or extremely light brown hair, Hylda is a skinny brown girl with a round face and button nose. Commonly seen burying her head in a book, Hylda is not the physically active type, at least not yet. The teen is deaf, thus she may appear to be inattentive and aloof – although her bitter, sarcastic personality does not help with that appearance.
Delicia, an Ar’Tual, has affected the physical appearance of Hylda’s body. The Ar’tual gives the body an orangish hue. When the most serious powers are active, the body glows faintly orange. Another Ar’Tual physical trait is the unnatural orange-gold color of the eyes. The insignia of physical Ar’Tual birth is found at the base of the spine.
Delicia cares way too much about physical appearance. Hylda does not care, allowing Delicia to decide what to wear. Hats, buckles, belts, buttons, caresses, jewelry, hats… Delicia is always sure to make sure their shared body is dressed with snappy and fashionable clothes. Hylda tends to get annoyed when Delicia goes overboard with the buckles and jewelry, but Delicia makes sure that Hylda looks her absolute best. Currently, Hylda has her hair cut short. Delicia wants to grow it, but Hylda sees long hair as a disadvantage in more down to earth, gritty settings.
Physicality:
The Blakesley girls share a single body and the same exact senses. Hylda inherited the muscle memories and recessive memories and skills from Delicia’s previous lives. They each have their own train of thoughts, dreams, and consciousness. They can have duel control of their body, or one can have control. For example, Hylda and Delicia may both be looking through a book, walking, or cooking as a twosome. In other moments, while Delicia handles a social situation, Hylda may take a nap or daydream about sciences. In some situations, Delicia will take forceful control over Hylda, but this is rare. As they both share the same senses, they feel each others’ physical pain and are prone to being blindsided or tricked in combat like any other person.
Blakesley is completely deaf.
They currently share a symbiotic, mutual relationship. They are within a close, kindred bond and deep friendship.
Equipment:
• Outfits and Cosmetics: Oh, they have a lot of clothes and accessories ranging from dressed to buckles to hats to jewelry to fancy travel gear. Just about every outfit needed for anything is owned by the duo, and they always wear it in style.
• Brass Knuckles: They own a pair of iron brass knuckles, blunt. Only Hylda is willing to use them.
• Books: Books. Loads of books. Ranging from history records to science manuals. Lots and lots of books. So many books! A book for every scenario!
• Satchels: Several satchels and purses, all awesome lookin’, are carried to keep all that equipment and a spare outfit or two. Or three.
• Alchemy Kit: A basic alchemy kit is owned, but rarely used. Delicia lost the interest, but keeps it around just in case.
• Cooking Ware A set of cooking supplies is kept as well. Meals are always good.
Combined History
A rare and dying breed, the Ar’Tual are willing to jump to even seemingly immoral acts to survive. One sensitive, yet still selfish, one named Delicia did just that. While a woman was already pregnant, she contracted her to be carried in the body of the child. To be reborn as the wealthy family’s daughter, it seemed as if things would go along smoothly. What could go wrong? Within a fancy mansion, owned by a wealthy business owner, in Tylmerande; the Blakesley family wa sure to give Delicia a comfortable life of power and glory.
Of course, things did have to go wrong. The mother died in childbirth, the father blamed the baby, the body was born deaf, and Delicia had to share said body with its original owner.
Named Hylda, the girl shared the consciousness, mind, and body with the Ar’Tual. Thankfully, despite their different personalities they bonded like sisters. The combined Blakesley were each others’ only friends. The father did his best to ignore Blakesley, leaving them in the care of nurses and maids who looked out for their needs, but never truly loved them.
Delicia kept her the recessive memories and talents of her previous life, which at least allowed the twosome to excel academically. Blakesley graduated at the age of ten. After graduating, Hylda would lock herself up in the library between parties and balls which Delicia generally took control for. Rapidly gaining knowledge, Hylda realized that she desire the same things as Delicia – approval, glory, control, power.
Hylda knew that under her father, it would never come. Thus, she learned the basics of self defense, got brass knuckles (much to Delicia’s dismay), and decided to set out from her sheltered home. Going into all of Corone, and the rest of the world, Blakesley searched and yearned for the opportunity to find their crown.
