It's getting ever closer to the day now. Seeing as there is a greater than 75% I might actually die of alcohol poisoning on my work's christmas party tonight, I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone here happy holidays and hope you and your families have a great time, whether christmas is your bag or not.

Die Hard is a Christmas movie.
It happens during Christmas, there are Christmas parties going on. Bruce Willis does a great job of saving Christmas for all of those people that were about to be victims of a terrorist attack.
There are also Christmas values, like gift giving (gift of freedom), showing how valuable family is, ect.
Plus probably one of the best Christmas songs ever exists in it.
In which case, the new Jumanji movie is now a Christmas movie.

I don't really think of Die Hard as a Christmas movie just because it is set during Christmas. But if we're allowing such a flimsy excuse, Lethal Weapon is a better Christmas movie than Die Hard.
2 things.
1) There are two types of people. Those that believe Die Hard is the best Christmas movie ever, and those that are wrong.
2) The Ref is my second place.
Die Hard IS the best Christmas movie ever and Gremlins is close behind it.
Sure, "Die Hard" is a great Christmas movie, followed narrowly by Jurassic Park and Seymour Butts 7 - Butts in Paradise.

A Muppet Christmas Carol is my favorite lighthearted Christmas movie and It's A Wonderful Life is my favorite serious Christmas movie.
I'm just gonna sit back here with Grinch Stole Christmas for lighthearted, and miracle on 34th Street for more serious.
