Important Information Regarding Althanas Points (AP)

Hello everyone, I'm stepping in for Lye to let you all know that the AP program is being ended, effective immediately.

A few notes:

-Any outstanding AP can be converted to EXP or GP here.
-Vignettes, tournaments, workshops, and any other active feature offering AP as a reward will be converted to EXP or GP as described in the thread linked above.
-No refunds for spent AP will be given.

The reason for cancelling the program had nothing to do with the negative stigma attached to it VIA podcasts, Discord or other posts. Put simply, the program only achieved 50% of its goal. While it did significantly reduce the burden on staff, it did not nurture the "give to get" community building mentality. Instead, we've decided to transition to a more open market approach to judgments.

In the interim, only two judgment types will be available for most routine RP: basic rewards and workshops. A judge will respond and provide feedback to every workshop request. Full rubric judgments will only be standard for competitive RP. The definition of competitive RP is being expanded to include any player v. player activity, regardless of whether it is a battle or quest. A player seeking to improve their writing can still request a full rubric judgment, but it will be given as the moderator's response to the workshop request. Rewards in those instances will be based on the moderators scoring rather than the traditional 65. Please allow additional time for a judgment in these cases. The reward equation is also being altered slightly to create a reduced parity between scores. In this sense, full rubric workshops will be more suited to those genuinely attempting to seek feedback, rather than the strong writers seeking greater rewards.
