    Main:

Name: Philomel “Phi” Serkena van der Aart
    Aka: Phi, Matriach, Princess
    Age: 37
    Race: Drys-blessed faun
    Hair Color: dark violet
    Eye Color: grey
    Height: 6’ 0”
    Weight: 156 kg
    Occupation: Matriarch, High-class courtesan, warrior

    Personality:

Philomel is strong, intelligent and witty. She is, above all, a leader, and a mother. Though still sarcastic as her old self, and incredibly proud, she knows of her own achievements and can recognise those of others. She also, though, more importantly, knows her own weaknesses. She is a powerful leader, and a feminist, starting the Gilded Lily some long years ago, originally starting it as a guild to protect Radasanth whores from their pimps, but has now expanded it to dominate many of the brothel houses and pubs in the wider area, expanding to the western coast of Raiaera. It acts as both a secret service and a community that empowers women and teaches them to fight, if they so wish. She is head of all the matrons (female proprietors of the brothels) as Matriarch, and is well respected by members of the Gilded Lily. To others she might be seen as somewhat irritating and arrogant, but Philomel in her heart is a motherly, warm and decisive faun. She is a keen strategist, a protective warrior and, to her highest degree of pride, she is a mother and trusted ally.

    Appearance:

Goat legs, with cloven hooves in chestnut fur. From hips up human in form with large breasts. Two black curling ram-like horns sprouting from her forehead. Her hair is long and now dyed a pure dark violet and is mostly worn loose. She tends to be rather naked as she usually just wears a simple cotton blouse or corset, and fabric around her waist (belts also), with bare arms. The tattoo on her belly has been removed by the grace of a certain flesh-monger, when Philomel decided it was enough. She can usually be seen with a multitude of weapons - most predominantly her two swords.

    Skills:

    Tracking skills, and survival.
    Swordsmanship is expert level.
Knife-throwing, recently advanced to moderate level.
Very very good at sexual intercourse, as an exotic option for the more daring.
Head butting due to her large ram-like horns.
    Kicking.
Unarmed combat at a moderate level.
    Throwing. Just throwing, in general.
    Exotic dancing.
    Brewing tea.
    Leadership.
    Teaching others.
    Mothering.

    Abilities:

    Passive:

    Speed:

Excelled speed when running, to the speed of a deer bounding away from predators, based on an African springbok up to 100km/h and leaping up to 10 m through the air in a single curve. This also enchances her basic attack speed, movement etc, up to 10x a normal person.

    Goat hooves:

Her goat hooves allow her to grip onto uneven surfaces. Fashioned similar to those on a alpin mountain goat (created species for Althanas) they are soft on the underside, with a hard shell surrounding. These allow Philomel to have her hooves mould excellently to the shape of rocks, as well as having the cloven part of them fix into cracks.

    Earth-Sense:

Her species gives Philomel an acute connection to the earth. Whilst touching earth, or dirt, or wood, etc, she can sense what is around her, up to a fifty metre radius. The passive abilities this provides are a detection of all living beings, and other objects in her way - such as rivers, trees, buildings, and an idea of edible plants. She does not have to be directly touching the earth for this to work, but needs to be within a few milimetres, i.e. she can do it through gloves and other covering. Philomel is able to detect the rough mass, weight and species of anyone approaching, because of their feel on the earth. She is able to compare the weight to previous memories. As plants are connected to the earth directly and feed off it she can tell the majority of what species they are if she is familiar with them. If she is not, then she can begin to establish connections and learn. She can focus to find more information on things on the earth, but in normal terms Philomel has this ability naturally and passively, and instinctively.

    Earth-Sense, communication:

As an extension to her Earth-Sense Philomel is now able to communicate with the plants around her. Using her direction of the Earth-Sense she can ask the plants (and they will communicate to the best of their ability - not so much in words as in feelings) what has occurred recently. This includes asking them if a creature passed by recently, what problems exist nearby etc. This is a skill that is unusual but she has high ability in - it is as if she can read the plants and helps her tracking enormously.

    Skin of Tough:

Related to the rocks of earth, Philomel's natural skin is as tough as damascus. This includes everything but her eyes, and other sensitive areas - i.e. downstairs, under the arms.

    Earth Magic:

Due to the development of her connection with Veridian, Philomel has developed an "awakening" to earth magic. Though very rare in fauns, her linked mind with this Earth Spirit and her dutiful worship of the tree-goddess Drys, has allowed her to be opened up to a world of possibilities.

    Cracking The Earth:

Up to four times per day Philomel can essentially cause a minature earthquake by slamming her hoof, horns or fist on the ground or any other surface. What this does is immediately crack the earth in a 20 degree cone of ten metres, or a web (circulating outwards) of ten metres, depending on how her hoof is placed and directed. It upsets ground and plants, cracks concrete and if used against foundations, could destroy buildings. It causes a shake in the earth for three seconds before abating, and also causes cracks in weak ground. In the very centre there is no damage exactly where Philomel places her hoof, horns or fist, but three inches from that the damage spreads rapidly out. It can easily cause a pratcised fighter with no agility ability to lose their balance and slip, and knock any oncoming blade attacks out of balance with them. If very unstable and at the outermost edge of the crack (i.e. at the worst part) an opponent has the danger of falling over and hitting their head. On a Richter Scale this measures from 0 at the point of incarnation to 7 at the edge.

    Quakebow:

After having Drys bless her crossbow, Philomel can now send Cracking the Earth across a distance. Philomel must inact Cracking the Earth at the same time as firing a bolt, and essentially what this does is send the earthquake somewhere else. The point at where the bolt hits becomes the new epicentre for the quake, much like her hoof or horns or fist. All stats with Cracking the Earth are still the same (7 richer scale etc), however the shape can only be a web. Number of shots is included in overall Cracking the Earth count (4).

Through the Earth Portal (aka, down the rabbit hole):

Essentially a form of teleporation, this ability allows for the transference of Philomel in an almost instance. It creates a portal in the ground, opening up the earth and creating a direct link to another place, but not in a physical way, more like a phasing state of metaphysics. Only creatures who are connected to the earth (fauns, Earth Spirits, possibly men) can use this portal. This ability can be used up to four times an hour.
There are no limits to how far Philomel can travel by herself, and she can take one person with her. Veridian can use this ability also to appear by her side (not travel on his own) but one of the uses are used up.

    Rocks be Mine:

Philomel's Armoured with Rocks ability has now extended into the general ability to summon and control rocks, stones and soil. She is able to control a mass of dirt, rock and soil that is a maximum of 3kg in mass that can be gathered from up to five metres away, inclusive of underground.. The mass consists of a mixture of hard and soft masses, and is a very general ability. Philomel is able to summon it to her side and then send it out as a weapon, or use it to form shapes. There are currently three main formations she is able to use. She is also able to summon clay.
    • Form: Philomel is able to shape the rocks, soil and stones into any form that the mass that pleases her. This could be a replica of a person, an image of still life or anything that takes her fancy. This ability can be used as a distraction, but is mostly not used in combat.
    • Pepper: Philomel can send the formation at a person as a hailstone rain of rocks, soil etc. They travel at a rough speed of 20 mph, and are brutal if they hit. They can travel up to fifty metres away.

    Healing:

    Major Earth Healing:

Philomel can heal a wound within two seconds to a minor extent. Minor wounds, such as a simple knife slash, will be healed almost instantly, major wounds, such as a knife stab, will heal after five seconds. Breaks of bone will begin to knit back together after half an hour, but it will be unstable, not enough to be used in punching, enough to hold a sword or to support (for instance, to hold up a person to standing). She needs to touch earth for this to work.

    Monster State(s):

    Terribly Monstrous: Enraged

Echoing Veridian's Terribly Monstrous Ability from level 5, Philomel is now able to transform into a monstrous beast. What this does is allow her goat-side to take over her body almost in its entirety. Letting the rage and animalistic qualities of her race take over she transforms into a massive goat, now able to access this without needing to go through the state of 'Raging'. When she is in this, however, her intelligence somewhat declines, and with it much of her earth-magical abilities.

Philomel becomes a fully formed massive goat, white and chestnut brown in colour with grey eyes. This beast stands roughly 7 foot to the shoulder and has many more muscles than one would expect. Much closer to a mountain goat than a domestic goat her body is entirely covered in fur, and she has bigger horns than perhaps might be necessary. The process of this transformation can take a single second of immense pain and can be done in the middle of movement, but during which she is pretty much not capable of anything but turning into a goat.

Philomel can stay in this form for four posts. When she goes into this state anything she is holding or wearing becomes part of her form, merging into temporary nothingness. Anything she had previously placed down does not transform.

    Abilities:
    • Due to her change in anatomy Philomel loses any ability to wield a sword or other hand-held weapon.
    • Magic remains, and natural talents, are increased:
    • Speed is same as per normal (10x) and strength is now 5x
    • She is still, however, susceptible to any magical abilities.
    • Horns are twice the size, but have no special ability.
    • Weight is almost half a ton.
    • Skin remains at damascus toughness.

    Familiars:

    Familiar: Veridian - a fox-form earth-spirit.

Veridian is a fox-form earth-spirit who is Philomel's oldest friend and is a symbol of her connection to her goddess Drys. He is also her spirit-partner. There is speculation grown recently that they share a bond on their souls, as if they were partners in spirit. He is lithe, gorgeous and very devoted to her. Because of his immortality he has been known to sacrifice himself for her. He does not have any endurance or healing bonuses, thus he is susceptible to most forms of attack, however he is extremely strong-willed. Veridian also has learnt how to read and write, and so is able to communicate to others using this.

    Immortality:

Veridian is immortal, but when he dies he fades away, but then is immediately reborn back under the ash tree. Philomel met him in Concordia Forest. So once dead in a battle he cannot return, unless they are battling relatively close to the tree.

    Basic Ability - Bite-Claw:

Can be used in combat - his weapons include a single bite per post that is harsh and brutal, and capable of ripping out large chunks of skin and flesh, down to muscle, causing a major wound. His claws are more or less kept sharp and a scratch will cause a major wound. His teeth and jaws are the strength of steel.

    Bite of Flame:

Veridian now has the ability to bite with fire. This is down to the simple fact he has a tenth of a fire whisp inside of him. The flames, however, are not like a normal fire-breath - instead they are connected to his bite. Veridian releases a spew of flames from his mouth, and they are sent towards the victim. The flames then act as a second pair of jaws, immediately clamping around the victim's arm/area of damage. It does the same damage as his jaws, except that it causes a major burn also. The victim must be within ten feet, also, otherwise the flames disappate. Veridian can also throw these fireballs when he is in his kistune form. Useable 5 times per thread.

    Terribly Genuine:

Veridian has lost his ability to transform into a five metre long goat on fire. He is now, however, able to take full kitsune form, with a fox's head, paw-like hands and feet, as well as his brush tail. In this form he stands at six feet tall, and has the same colourings as his normal small form. It takes him a single post to be able to take this form and in it he is able to wield weaponry. He does not wear any armour, or clothing, aside from when people take offence and he may place on some shirt and simple trousers that Philomel has lying around spare. He is able to go into this form on a permanent basis if he wishes, and keeps all his previous abilities of Bite-Claw and Bite of Flame.
Note: He can not go on fire. He can also talk in this form, but keeps a lot of his animal attributes.

    Familiar: Delath

Delath is a dragon, originally a baby black dragon who could fly about a metre and then fall, and burp tiny flames. He was not used for combat and bought back near level 4. Philomel bought him along with an amulet to make him an adult dragon, and by grace of her goddess has managed to gain the power enough to use this.
However, when Delath was granted adulthood, several things happened. First, he lost the ability to fly and his colour went quickly from dark black to a murky brown and green. His wings withered and fell away, and his whole form became something large and bulky and rock-like. Essentially he was consumed by the element of earth, and became that which is useful for Philomel to fight against the forces of the "dark".

    Basic:

Delath stands at 7ft at the shoulder, and is roughly 30 ft in length. His scales are still somewhat weak due to his transformation, and are as tough as steel. He has a natural bite as a skill and no ability to breathe fire, but instead breathes vegetation.

He also has a mental link to Philomel, and though it is not as strong as Veridian's, for Delath is mostly independent, he will come at her call. He acts, though, at his own timing and will.

Delath can also talk. He can communicate mentally or vocally and can read and write, although he uses 'simple' speech, with less ornate words and excusing articles.

    Burrowing:

Delath can bury under the ground at a speed of natural running for a regular being. He does this by digging with his huge forepaws and claws, and also by literally eating the soil etc around him. It is excreted via the natural way, passing straight through him. He can exist at a hundred metres below ground, and can appear at any moment. His entrance is noticeable as a small earthquake, at a rate of five metres below the earth. This gives a target half a second to notice him coming and react. This ability has no limit. He can eat any sort of material, up to the strength of mythril.

    Thunder Roar:

Delath has lost all ability to breathe vegetation, as under-use caused it to fade. Instead, however, he got his roaring skills up, and is now most excellent at roaring. He can send a thunder-wave like drum of sound to penetrate someone or something. This has a lesser strength to Philomel's earthquake ability, and is make of pure sonic energy, and extends roughly fifteen metres in front of him before its effects fade. It can cause weak walls to crumble, a bone to shatter at close proximity and trees to shake.

    Equipment:

For all links, see update for level 9.

    Amour as follows:

    Young dragonscale pauldron. Obtained here.
Young dragonscale breastplate, that covers breasts, back and neck, with titanium chainmail to protect the belly and lower back. Obtained here.
Titanium bracers, covering the forearms. Obtained here.
    Skull shaped helmet for Veridian.
The following cloak: an icecraft cloak made by Breaker, composed of ice, Fealotë blossom and plant, and magic. It is described as follows: "The water became molten ice, and shaped slowly into the form of a hooded cloak, suspended in the air. Josh reached out and grasped it with both hands. It was warm to touch, made so by Drys' love. It was light as silk, made so by Suravani's brilliance. It was strong as steel, made so by Breaker's might. And yet it fluttered in the wind like any fabric, as soft and fragrant as the Fealotë blended within."

    Weapons:

Nameless: A hald and a half mythril sword
One keris dagger, nicknamed the Lover, upgraded to plynt. It has a tinderbox and a trigger in the hilt to set the blade alight when desired.
Crossbow, made of yew. Comes with a dozen iron bolts.
Temptress: A magim beast leather riding crop with calli glass inserted into the keeper at the end.
Refills: Small vials of Calli powder that have been ground into a fine power and mixed with treated (oderless) troll fat as a sticking agent. When applied to a weapon they cause any cuts or broken skin to be extremely painful. Each vial is single use, good for a few cuts.

    Special:
    The Rabbit:
    - obtained here
Mao, the rabbit blade, is one of the twelve zodiac crystal swords. The blade is pure ivory and the hilt a bright green. Mao’s element is a sprouting plant. The weapon is a sword composed of a strange crystal the strength of mythril. Mao has two magical effects:
Kick – Green vines burst from the sword and wrap around the legs of the wielder. The vines are as strong as steel, and while they offer some protection, that is not their main function. Using the amazing tensile strength of the vines the user can kick and jump with tremendous force. A kick can smash steel with ease, while a jump can send her or him flying through the air two dozen meters. The vines may be summoned for a combined three posts.
Swarm - From the tip of the blade erupts a continuous swarm of rabbits made of moss. Once they have swarmed over everything for twenty metres in the direction they were cast they break apart and dozens of small vines burst from each one link them together. The resulting mass of plant matter is as strong as steel. Any unfortunate caught within will have a hard time escaping. (two uses)

    Other:

A three-inch wide glass vial that is fully sealable and on a steel chain. Usually worn around the neck it is made to carry dirt so that Philomel has some even when on water or a place she cannot get earth from.
A lovely tricorn hat, with "Renegade" stitched in the corner.
Enough changes of clothes for a few occaisions a whore might need them for (dresses, blouses and a couple of corsets).
About a week worth of food when travelling.
    Blankets.
    Two leather saddle bags.
Dragon Amulet; Capable of turning a baby dragon into a full-sized dragon, at a later level. Obtained hither. Kept in a small lether pouch in Philomel's cabin or tucked into her bustier/corset. - NOW USED TO CREATE DELATH

    Magical:
Mage's Key: A key obtained from Vaeron. It is capable of opening any lock, magical or normal, with magical spells going to level 4.
Ring: A ring that is silver in colour and damascus in strength, big enough to fit just on Philomel's little finger. It has a gem inside that when it is touched to any other flesh it has the ability to summon, direct to Philomel's side, any of her companions. Distance is limited to a few miles, and it is useable once per hour.
Earring: An earring that allows for Philomel to connect the thoughts of what she hears from Veridian and Delath and feels from them (basic emotions only) to another. The other must be willing, but it will allow them to be able to come into the group of Philomel etc. It allows for up to two people to be joined in, and is a simple cheap metal.
    Latter two obtained here.

    Ship:

Called the Fiesty Fox. Actually owned by Malachi, the pirate king, Philomel is the captain of this ship on permanent loan until she can afford to buy it. Wiki page is available. - Got from involvement with the Black Sails Armada. Never officially given as spoils since it is owned by Malachi.

    History:

Her mother Lacey was the only faun in a whore house in a thriving city, Radasanth, and was seen one night by a faun iron merchant, Enna, from the mountains when she was offering her trade. He fell in lustiness over her, mostly because it was rare to see one of his own kind in a city, and hired her for the night. He ended up coming back a few months later and doing the same thing, and then again and again over a few years, in shorter and shorter intervals. Eventually he proposed marriage to her, for sake of apparently being “in love” with her. Lacey was very reluctant for a while, but once he promised her a house and money she agreed and they had a short and small, but official marriage. She got him to buy a house in the city, and even though he still had to go to the mountains for his trade she was content for a while.

After a month or so she got bored, and started inviting in men, going back to her old trade whilst Enna was away. She fell pregnant one night when he was around, and had the baby when he was away with one of her customers, thankfully a man of healing, present. She named the baby Philomel after a word meaning “nightingale” because she was born at night, and presented her with a certain pride when Enna returned. Enna did not react, though, how she expected, he seemed more disappointed than overjoyed, so Lacey took to turning cold. Things became a turn for the worse when Philomel was six years of age and Lacey found out Enna had had another family in the mountains all along.

She left Enna with Philomel and returned to the brothel. She was a good mother and took time out most days to raise her daughter well, though perhaps what she taught her was not typical. By the age of twelve Philomel was an excellent lover and plotting revenge on her father. She started earning money herself that same year later, then finally got a human warrior who she offered her services for in exchange for learning the basics of swordplay. The warrior paused, but accepted her offer and he became her teacher, so that over numerous visits in the next six years, at the age of eighteen Philomel could use a sword well. Later that year she left with him when he offered to take her on a hunt into the mountains, where he continued to teach her fighting and tracking, and she tried to find out more about her father. What she gleaned was very little, but has gone back at various points to find out more. During one of these expeditions she found herself becoming mesmerised by a feeling she had, and followed it until she came to an ash tree. When there, she touched the bark and was instantly able to detect the lifespan and events of the tree, when their had been storms, what creatures nested in the branches and so on. From that tree there came a small noise and an earth-spirit emerged, a small fox who she later named Veridian and has not had the want to stop following her since.

She later killed the warrior when she found him raping her own mother, and fed his body, ironically, to nightingales and crows, piece by piece.

She remained in Radasanth for some time. Her pimp, Mort, threatened her mother's life, and so along with a wizard Philomel brought about his death. She took her mother to safety, and then sent her to an island resort. After this, and finally independent and free, Philomel sought work. In doing so she befriended two people - first the half-imp telepath boy Felix and the monk-come-underworld-genius troll Mister Draak. She is currently staying with Mister Draak, in his hall where he acts as the monestry's cook and herbalist.

Philomel later on was discovered by the talented Lye, Master of Assassins, and was invited to become a member of the Crimson Hand, after a meeting with the infamous half-demon Aurelianus. When this inappropriate lover of violence opened his brothel in Salvar, Philomel became one of the prime attractions, and she now spends her time between Salvar and Raiaera, where she stays with Draak and works alongside him (or for him in a way). As an independent whore and a well-skilled killer she is never out of possible work, though will come when the Crimson Hand trumpet calls. She has met many people, including Jensen Ambrose and Astarelle Set'Roh on an ordinary drunken night out ...

Recently she took part in the War in Eiskalt, and was one of the last attackers to remain there. After the rest of the Crimson Hand left or went to finish off their private battles, she remained to help destroy the capital city. It was here, in the last standing building, a church, that she met, once more, the Ixian darling Astarelle, or Roht Mirage, and after a brief amount of fighting and threatening, the two had relations in the burning building. Philomel was later accused of rape by Ambrose, attacked and defeated, then saved by Astarelle, whom is severely attracted still to the faun who does not believe in love. In this battle Veridian died, and for the first time Philomel felt the true sense of loss and emptiness that she now loathes, and therefore she fears and dreads his death.

After this Philomel went back to Raieara and assisted in a few ambitous assassinations and plots, before turning her head back to adventure. She volunteered when the call came out for the slaying of an infected dragon over the skies of Alerar, and helped slay it. Unfortauntely in this time she met Astarelle and Jensen once more, and was subject to some degree of accusations. When the dragon died she intended to leave, however made the last minute decision to save Astarelle and so, by chance of being somewhere, was framed by Zack Blaze himself for the murder of Zack Blaze.

After a daring escape, with assistance from her curious one-time lover Astarelle, Philomel left Alerar. She was partly helped to flee by her "boss" Lye Ulroke, and told to not go back to Alerar for some time. Agreeing to this, Philomel went back to her some city of Radasanth and spent time there, spending time with her brother and making friends with the small curious thing known as Yakob de Void. Her mind raced, her spirit tingled with near-boredom, until she began to concoct a plan of deviousness. As word got to her of an apparent plan for the Crimson Hand to have a deathly tournament, one that was supposed to get Ulroke back to popularity or some such, Philomel considered her own future. In this way she realised she had some money placed aside from her months of working for and with the troll Draak, and placed it towards a project she likes to call the Gilded Lily.

Made to serve the needs of whores in danger, and those who wish to go beyond the call of their pimps, Philomel set about gaining trust of various other prostitutes, namely those from her first ever brothel, and creating a large group of fighters and spies for her guild. They are slowly spreading out across the city of Radasanth, right into the Red Light District and the high-end Courtesans to create a society of devious individuals. The eventual aim is to spread across the entire world. For this end also, Philomel figured she needed to travel, and so hired a boat to take her to Raiaera. During this time, however, her ship was beset by pirates, and by long-raucous means including a few mages and a nice key, Philomel found herself within the arms of the pirate company and in use of a boat she likes to call The Fiesty Fox.

A few stories shorter, complete with a failed trip to find the faun homeland, Paradisia, Philomel has set about with her ship and her Guild mostly in mind, travelling to Salvar to take part in these games for the Crimson Hand. Rumours, however, are spreading, and she is concerned with what murmurs she hears of the possible remergence of the traitor Tobias Stalt, and the works of the plague-witch Madison Freebird, with whom Philomel had a close shave with.

The Crimson Hand Deadliest Warrior games prooved to be something of a rouse. Instead, what occurred during them is that Madison Freebird and that tiefling, Aurelianus Drak'Shal ended up cause a coup and taking over the Crimson Hand in its duration. Trapping Lye Ulroke, Madison placed herself as Master of the group and Philomel was installed as Master of Secrets. Though Philomel was very much between loyalties at this point, she decided that for now it was better to concentrate on her Guilded Lily project. With it, using her place as Master of Secrets as infleuence, she transformed the Gilded Lily into something of a spy network, set within brothels and pubs, with her ship as the Head Quarters for it. So far she has enabled to spread her influence over Radasanth, into Concordia, and is now enthusiastically working at conquering Eluriand.

Raiaera was also of interest in the quelling of Pode. There was call for adventure, from the High Bard Council of Raiaera, to call for warriors to help heal the Red Forest. Eager for adventure, Philomel joined them, along with Veridian. She got as far as suffering an illusion wherein she was killed by the ghost of Argarron, a once-friend of Veridian's, and she reawoke to discover that once more Drys had saved her and Veridian. She went back to Radasanth, mainly to work on the expansion of the Gilded Lily into Akashima, but that failed quickly. For no sooner had Philomel returned to Corone than war was declared on her. Or rather, the Gilded Lily, and by the Crimson Hand no less. Philomel still has little idea why this occurred, though after meeting the curious Zelrius she concluded that Madison did not trust her anymore. What was possibly more strange was the discovery that Lye Ulroke was freed from prison and was apparently Master of the Crimson Hand once more, though Philomel suspected Madison's foul hand at play.

Philomel and the Crimson Hand went to war against each other, each collecting allies. The war was fast, bitter and left little bloodshed, but Philomel drew entirely away from the Crimson Hand after it, leaving them all to their devices and declaring her right to rule alone. The fading of Lye Ulroke from the main world, the Crimson Hand all but disappeared. In this moment she decided to establish a base for the Gilded Lily in a more permanant basis. At first she tried to set up a base within Skara Brae, and extended its reach into Raiaera, but this did not last long and instead she made a friend in the way of the Baron of the island, Marmaduke. There was a proposal to venture into Alerar, but this quickly faded when Philomel learnt of the lack of love of nature there. Instead, she managed to establish a fortress hidden in the depths of Concordia Forest, which still exists.

It was around this time that Philomel met the strange being, Shinsou van Osiris, who was from another world. Some close encounters with him brought her and the Gilded Lily within close allies of his own organisation, the Brotherhood of Castigars. It was during this time that Vaeron brought the idea of establishing a more permanently future for the Gilded Lily, and proposed to Philomel something - that was, having a child with him, despite him being gay. She successfully gained pregnant, and though she had doubts during the pregnancy, kept the child as she found it was blessed by and wanted by Drys. She went to Akashima in order to try to hide herself, and ended up meeting the geisha Sakura who accompanied her to Baron Marmaduke's island once again, where Philomel had her daughter, Celandine, but all in secret. Upon returning to Radasanth she gave the daughter to the care of a woman and her brother-husband, Etna. Philomel left, wishing her daughter the best. She also managed to get her baby dragon to hatch into a larger dragon, and the beast transformed under the will of Drys, becoming Delath, the monster that can eat through anything.

It was during these years that Philomel's power grew, pushing deep into Raiaera at the time. She also took part in the quest to attempt to end Lye Ulroke's life, teaming up with both Shinsou and the geisha Lilly. They went together into the wilds of Salvar, in the guise of a caravan of sorts as a present from the Emperor of Akashima to the Crimson Hand - but it was ambushed. Shinsou was taken away had his memory wiped, Philomel lost all hope and returned home, full of sorrow, although did meet his old flame, Amari. The year following Philomel went with the demi-god Breaker to fight the Nameless witch who served a demon-god and save the Lyre of Orphaeo from evil hands. It was during this that she discovered she was beloved of Drys and was bestowed an official title as the goddess' priestess. Breaker, Shinsou (now with memory restored) and Philomel later went to try to save Scara Brae from Safikma, the dragon, and succeeded, though Philomel was disheartened at killing the creature. Philomel in this time went also to Raiaera, to fulfill her duties to assist her houses there. In this time she was captured at Beinost and sentenced to some cruel anti-magic torment at the hands of a madman called Hugin, but was freed by a supposed demi-god called Vitruvion (see Stare).

Philomel in these later months went to claim her daughter and establish her as the heiress she always wanted. This new duty, however, brought its difficulties, and Philomel found herself needing to leave the girl to defend her world - once on the situation to defeat a man in Radasanth who was killing her women to make himself immortal (where she teamed up with Nevin, and found out herself and Veridian share a soul) and once where she went to Alerar to find what she feared was an act against nature - the creation of beings with genetically modified power. In this she met the drow, HUnter, also called Fil'ayn, and she captured him in order to convince him that nature was better than science, when her daughter was captured. She took him back to Corone, where he helped her defeat a gorgon that had turned Celandine to stone. Shinsou then lost his memory, again, through a plot by his own father, and it took Philomel and him to try to re-establish his timeline and help defeat an old enemy of his. She had to tell him again that she had a daughter. She had an experience once again with the man who had captured her in Beinost, but was freed through good circumstance.

Currently, Philomel is growing to understand Alerar more, and build her life. She is at a loss for some direction, but with the changes afoot with her own power, and Veridian's sudden recent ability to turn into a humanoid fox, things are looking to alter.

    Got this.
"The breeze did not stir. The stars did not twinkle. The trees did not sway and the brook did not babble.
For the world did not turn when Am'aleh wept, and a tear had tumbled down her cheek."

We're going to need to limit "Burrowing" in some way in order to make it an acceptable ability (even as a PL 10). I realize looking back at your last update that I shouldn't have approved that ability before either, so I"m glad this update drew it to my attention. I think saying Delath can eat materials up to mythril strength would be reasonable, that would imply that his teeth/mouth are diamond strength or greater.

Other than that your profile looks fine.

    Thanks for picking this up!

Oh gosh, that changes him somehow. He's been able to eat through diamond for a while now.

Is it possible to negotiate? For instance I can add a temporary thing to get him to eat through anything up to a higher one for a short while (say, 3 posts) or limit it to purely ground materials (i.e. no armour)? Or cannot get through anything magical? Trying to fit with current canon, dropping suddenly down to mythril is a big change, and limits a lot of general rocks around he can eat (even common forms of rocks, possibly, depending on what eqivolent would be).

Edit; ignore all that. I keep forgetting mythril is quite high their anyway. I'll edit it in.

    Edit: edited in

    One request:

If I have the room I also took out an ability in case it didn't fit. This was getting her Skin of Tough up to Damascus (remnants of this can be seen in Philomel's Terribly Monstrous).

That should be fine, let me know when you've made all the updates. Thanks for being flexible on this.
