To help celebrate the holidays, a thread devoted to all our favourite drinks.

For beer I normally buy Alexander Keiths, but I'll drink anything that isn't completely disgusting like most of the 1$ beers are.

Favourite shot would have to be liquid cocaine, although whisky is always fine by me.

Mixed drinks... I'm a big fan of 7&7, and also Rum & Coke. I also really enjoy whiskey on the rocks with a few drops of lime... good stuff.

What about you all?

that's it, it's one of the few drinks I like and it doesn't give me hives. I also like it either hot or cold, not just hot^^

I only drink when I want to relax a little and I don't drink much, maybe a cup or two.

My only Sake experience was drinking it cold at the beach. My buddy brought a bottle and we weighted it down in the water till it got cold.

Well, to go by your formula...

I enjoy my beer to be of the micro-brew variety, and anything Long Trail makes me happy. Guinness and Heineken get me by as well.

Favorite shot is the good ol' Irish Car Bomb: Guinness Jameson and Bailey's Irish Cream. You need to drink it fast though, unless you want the cream to curdle...

Mixed drinks, I'm a vodka man. While OJ and vodka to make your typical screwdriver is good, I actually prefer Lime juice over Orange.

Shot would be Tequila, with lemon if I'm feeling like a baby.

I don't really drink any mixed drinks unless they're free. Of the ones I've had, I like them all (how could I not?).

I myself rarely drink and never drink to get drunk. When I get drunk, I get dumb. And I loathe dumb people.

To clarify, I mean dumb as in a complete lack of common sense.

When I do drink, however, I'm more of a taster. I like red wine, preferably wine that is low on kick and high on sweetness.

As far as mix drinks go, I like anything with cranberry.

And I've always enjoyed the taste of rum.

If I'm at a bar I drink Keiths, hands down it's my favourite beer. But when I'm at home I drink a lot of wine, Two Oceans white wine to de exact. Yeah... I'm a big wino. I've lost track of the amount of wine induced judgements I've done.

At my friend Liz's house parties though I drink cocktails since she's a bartender and can mix them real easy for me. Like Sex on the Beach, Sex in the Desert, Margaritas and lots of other funky things I can't remember the name of.

I detest alcohol's taste and what it does to people in excess. Which is why I can only drink weak pussy drinks like Mike's Hard Lemonade, and sometimes the occasional sip of vanilla vodka (which cured my gingivitis.)

Wine is never fruity enough for me, although I have only tasted cheap stuff.

All the beer I've had is American, so it tastes like shit and water.

And Champagne to me is just more expensive beer. Again, I've only had cheap stuff.

If you like weak pussy drinks you should try bacardi breezers. They're like 4.5% alcohol and taste like really sugary juice.

Not a fan of alcohol. I've only really drank once, and that was over a game of Super Mario World - basically, when you die, you take a shot, and when you beat a world, both people have to take a shot.

We didn't make it very far.

I drew the following conclusions about alcohol from that experience: beer sucks, vodka sucks slightly less, Captain Morgan's and orange juice sucks, and I don't remember if Captain's straight up is good or not.

Most alcohol I've ever had was like...in a quarter of a bottle of Dimetap when I was three. I loved that stuff. Not so much any more.

I can't even stand the smell of it enough to actually put any in my mouth, not to mention I'm still underage.

I happen to enjoy cheap American pisswater, so I drink Miller Lite for beer. When I was chilling in Richmond with Ithermoss, I had a can of Sapporo with my sushi and that was really good, too.

I shoot whiskey straight up. I'll decimate a bottle of Crown if not under careful supervision. I shoot tequila with lime. I think Goldshlager is the yummiest thing ever. Liquid cinnamon. Soo good. I was going back and forth between whiskey and Goldslager shots one fun night that ended with me punching some dude in a hotel room.

If I'm going with a mixed drink, I like most rum based drinks and tequila sunrises.

I am not allowed to drink vodka. I get mean, and make people cry.

On my 21st birthday, Moonlit Raven and I were sitting half naked in her room, watching Godzilla 2000 and playing a drinking game that I barely remember. It was over two years ago...and we did a lot of drinking. We had to take a shot when Godzilla roared, knocked over a building and two shots when Matthew Broderick pointed out the obvious. Oh. We had to take some shots when he completely missed that chick hitting on him, and something about the awesome French dude. Um... I don't remember the other rules. The night ended with me so drunk I could barely undress and crawl into her bed, and I SWEAR on everything that is holy there was a midget sitting in the corner of the room looking at me. Jenn says there wasn't, and I was just drunk, but he was looking at me weird and it made it hard to go to sleep. I wish there was someone around for me to get that smashed with now. =(

I'm actually a big fan of movie/music drinking games. A great one is with Pulp Fiction-- you drink every time someone says fuck or a derivative of the word fuck. This actually works with most Tarantino films.

Another good one is with the song "Roxanne" by the police. You drink every time they say Roxanne. This game is also known as the get fucked up fast game.

Drinking games are awesome fun. I prefer them with horror movies because not only are you drunk, but you're a scared shitless drunk. Or a laughing-your-ass-off drunk.
