Milamber the Minstrel

Milamber is the bastard child of an elvish maiden whom he never met. His mother died during his birth, and his father was a human Barbarian of little consequence that raped his birthmother. His was a conception of hate and anger. Due to his lack of Familial love, he has developed a strange sense of both independence and love for those close to him. The flip-side of that coin is that thoose he does not know, he does not care for. Often taken a stance of indifference to the problems of others.
He was raised by a band of wandering thieves and troubadors. {similar to that of Robin Hood's Merry Men} Due to this he has a strong sense of justice as well as an affinity for melody and rhythm. He was also taught at a young age to fight. Trained in many areas of swordplay, hand to hand combat, and ranged weapons....as well as the art of stealth and subtelty.
He has never known romantic love, but apreciates the beauty of the world above all else save music, the only thing he has found to bring true peace and happiness to his troubled soul.
After a decade or so with his newfound family, the were disbanned due to a ill-fated run in with several of the kings law enforcement agents. The rest of his clan was either imprisoned or executed.
He now wanders alone, searching for justice, beauty, and melody where it can be found. When he can find none, he makes his own.
He carries a rosewood lyre on his back, a zweihander on his hip, and a dagger in his boot at all times. HE often has a small flute in his inside pocket of his cloak as well as a flask of absinthe and a small pipe. He wears a golden diamond studded ring on his left hand to symbolize his love for the seven daughters of Zeus, the Muses. He made a deal with them. In return for complete understanding of melody, rhythm, and verse, he has made a solemn vow to only kill in the name of Justice. This ring is a constant reminder.
On his right forearm is an intricate semi-tribal design tatooed placed there by his mentor to remind him of where he came from. He also has a bull's head tatooed in the middle of his chest. Symbolic of the strength he longs to mimic in his own life. His hair is white as the driven snow and dreadlocked, hanging just above his shoulders. and his eyes are as pale as a placid, clear lake. His skin is a golden tan, since he has no Dwelling to speak of and spends most of his time outdoors.
