A friend of mine showed me this recently, and I thought it was sort've neat. Its a site called Minicities that operates sort've like a weird mix of internet site hits with Civilization. You get to name your city and with every person that visits, you get another action. The folks that do visit copy and paste one of the links on the bottom left-hand side of the screen into the browser and help determine the city's course. It's kind've weird. Supposedly if enough people visit it goes from a rural one-horse town into the busybody industrialized cities like New York. Check it out if only to give it a glance. To make your own, you pick a country and then name a town. After that, your off! Perhaps we could all share our own towns and try to build them up, who knows, perhaps it could be fun.
