Reducing it to 16 is a much better option than abandoning it entirely. I wouldn't be the least bit offended if you only accepted the first 16 signups.

I'm in agreement with Cyrus. I think the problem you may be facing is you just don't have the member pool interested in tournaments to fulfill the numbers your expecting. Besides, perhaps it'd be better to start off with a small tournament and build yourself up, y'know? Makes it more noteworthy the next time around.

Plus, if its any consolation, I'm eager to smash heads with Jobe! ;)
