New Open MQ

[Call me J]

I am going to be working on a new MQ for Salvar now. We will only have a month to finish it, but if you feel you missed out on the other MQs and want a chance to be in one, or just want some more FQ fun, its time to saddle up!

The plot of this MQ is that there is a convoy of weapons coming from Alerar into Salvar, and you, the fellow questers, can either come in as a Salvar state loyalist, a church zealot or just someone in it for a few bucks. The leader of the convoy, a man named Djakara, eventually wants to get rid of everyone so he can take the weapons, claim they were stolen by zealots, and make money from them by reselling them in Corone. However, he is going to run in to a bunch of people along the way who have different plans for the weapon.

This thread will be perpetually open. The one catch will, out of necessity of time, keep moving at all times. If you're only somewhat active, I can find a supporting role for your character, so don't be deterred for coming for the ride.

I made a new edit, regarding the timing of getting posts in, given the situation we're in. Please read it.

Given time constraints, we're going to need those posts in daily, or at least close to it.

Time Constraints

Liquid time will not be in effect during the FQ. You may be in one thread at a time. If a thread goes inactive, you may withdraw from that thread in order to start or join another one, provided you post in the inactive thread to say you are bailing ship. You may switch between threads as much as you like, provided you are only actively in one at a time. Please post links when and if you move between threads.

Thing is, Call me J left field of Sighs and Sorrows and got teleported through. He's no longer in that thread. Thats why he can do this one.

Ah I see. Since that's the case, I'll stick with Field of Sighs and Sorrows since it would make more sense for Galyl to be there, rather than in Salvar anyway.

I'll be posting after I get back from work. As Godhand has suggested going a bit beyond my character's abilities right now, Belial will be equivalent to a level 7 character. If you would like me to make a profile for him, let me know and I'll do that asap.

Making a profile might definitely help.

I'd really rather you summon Belial who has been established as being weak, and after he's defeated instantly you find the one-use demon inside the Grimoire itself.

okay, that would work too, either way it doesn't matter to me and the demon doesn't even have to be one use. She'd just take the chance on it backfiring after watching him defeated so easily. I'll have my post up in a few minutes, I just need to finish writing it.

My level zero alt, Leon Adalbert, is in it, so I don't see any reason why a level 1 couldn't join. Check with Call me J or Djakara first, though. We might be full up for the moment.

If we weren't 17 posts in, I probably wouldn't have a problem with it. But we're kind of far along at the moment. If you really think you can find a way for your character to get into this, let me know. If we can work you in without just adding to the clusterific nature of a 7 person quest, then yeah.

Moderated Quests tend to move quickly. Especially in this case, because we're rather restricted with regards to time.
