Name: Tyr Wulfgurd
Age: 20
Race: Human
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Green
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 180 lbs.
Occupation: Vagabond, adventurer.
Personality: Intrepid and somewhat arrogant young man.
Appearance: Tyr's black hair has a slight wave to it, and he keeps it long, falling around the jawline of his youthful face. Though human, like most of his bloodline, his ears are slightly pointed, and his canines are slightly more pronounced than an average man's. He is lean with the muscle of a healthy young man who daily takes part in regular exercise. Tyr's usual attire consists of:
- A dark brown hide cloak, with white fur along the hem.
- A leather suit of a short sleeved shirt, pants, and fingerless gloves of a lighter brown than his cloak.
- Open chested gray blue longsleeved shirt.
- Shortsleeved back shirt worn over the one previously mentioned, with blue gray trim, clasps just under the navel.
- Black leather, steel toed boots that extend just a bit over the knee.
History:
Tyr was born in House Wulfgurd, a family known for producing many knights and strong acolytes for the services of Salvar's church and crown. The boy was born alongside two brothers, and despite being the youngest of the three, he received no special treatment as such and wasn't bullied by the older boys, as is common. The boys occasionally accompanied their father into the far north when the family was asked to exterminate various beasts or monsters plaguing the people where few visited. As such, the three youngest Wulfgurd's were introduced at young ages to the threats and wonders Althanas had to offer. Great, lumbering giants that blotted out the sun as they walked, dire wolves, bigger than a man, their furs crusted with ice and snow; but more often than not, they stayed at home on the family's fief, training with their uncles, or studying. Though any Althanian knew that knowing their way around a sword meant something in the land, few sought an education.
When the boys drew close to their mid-teenage years, it became apparent that his oldest brother, the most sensible and level headed one, was the most aligned with the crown. The middle brother was as pious as they came however; and saw purpose in everything and reason in far little. He had his moments of irrationality, but such is the way, often enough, of a religious man. Tyr, however, found he didn't have much of a taste for either of the two major powers of his homeland. After the brother's were given swords as a way of saying they were considered adults in the House, Tyr left for travel.
Skills: Tyr has an above average skill with his longsword and an average ability with pole arms. He is also highly literate and has knowledge of different nation's cultures, customs, and myths.
Equipment: Aside from his clothes, Tyr also owns a steel longsword given to him by his family. It's hilt is covered in smooth, braided leather, and it's crossguards are round and constructed of brass, with a molding of a wolf's head with stretched jaws, the blade of the weapon extending up from between the teeth. He also carries a pad of paper and a fountain pen.
