Mercenary

Hi everyone,

this isn't so much a quest/battle recruitment thread as it is that I'm wondering how many would be interested and what ideas those of you interested have.

You see, Kell is sort of ex military and I'm curious to see if anyone would be interested in forming a mercenary group of say, between 4 to 12 members that in reality don't have to be loyal to the group like in a pg and come and go as they please.

now this wouldn't be a power group per-say, but more of a group of characters that work together, and eventually maybe we sell our services to the highest bidding power group during a pg war. now as far as I have ideas for quests to go on, we would be doing things like fighting for one side or the other in the Corone civil wars or things like that.

That's similar to a bounty hunter, right?

Bounty hunter and assassin, Camella is both of these, but she keeps failing her jobs. Perhaps She'd do better with a group. Count me in.

Also, I got a somewhat cliche quest idea.

If our group gets big enough, how about we also add some NPCs, then have a thread where all the NPCs are killed off by a new recruit turned traitor (Also an NPC), and one by one that traitor is attempting to kill each member of this army.

This basically describes The Company. Mercenary employment, ability to hire other mercenaries, no loyalty to PG required, come and go as you please, desires to expand with money and influence.

Of course, if you want to do your own thing, that's fine too, I'm just plugging a similar PG that can meet your needs and is already all setup and has various opportunities.

Ive run the gauntlet of PGs before, and honestly i sometimes found them too restrictive and the company is not the first PG that has been focused that way.

Im mostly just looking for people to Role play with on a regular basis. figured this might be a good chance to get a group together that isnt trying to focus towards one goal or ideal (well other than personal gain). and have a catch name

like some of the other cool mil/ex mil groups from fiction

like my favorites Fox Hound (Metal gear solid series) or Wild Geese (hellsing)

maybe something cool like Giest Fox (giest means ghost in german)
