Frustration. It filled the room thickly as the individuals located within the room argued. Several men and women of Lodge Bladestorm; the military wing of the House of Sora were busy planning a new adventure. One of the men; the patriarch of Lodge Bladestorm, sat on a chair that resembled a throne, but was really just a large and elegant leather chair with a high back side. The back piece curved slightly in a concave manner. His body was sunk partially into the leather. Dyne picked up the habit of smoking hakyu weeds from a fellow adventurer; a man named Wizo.
The gathering room was a simple location reflecting the needs of the Patriarch of the Lodge. The room's walls were well oiled and lacquered structures that were decorated by many objects. Relics essential to the sanity of the Patriarch of Lodge Bladestorm. Paintings retrieved from his former home; now in a state of disarray, hung on the wall. One of the most majestic of the paintings being a portrait of Dyne's Father; Duke Gallen Cormyr. The now late nobleman sat proudly on a throne with his right hand raised and holding a scepter heirloom which was part of the heritage of the Cormyr House.
Dyne left that life behind; or so he thought. The past had a funny way of finding him; turning around and biting him in the rear. His hand rested on his chin as he sat there smoking from the pipe. Feeling the smoke flow down his throat; the apprentice allowed it to be exhaled through his nostrils. The weed allowed Dyne to relax; relieving some of the tension in his body, mind and soul. Dyne's long, shining red hair was tied back in its usual ponytail and rested at his lower back. Some loose strands of hair wrapped themselves about Dyne's shoulders. The proud heritage of Coronian descent reflected itself in his well chiseled cheekbones which arched in just the right way that was common to the men of Corone's antiquity. The opposite hand rested underneath the pipe he was currently smoking from. A steady stream of smoke flowed upwards from the lit up weed; the scent of the weed touched the air with its sweet aroma.
The room had three other individuals all wearing various states of clothing.
One of the individuals; a big man wearing commoner's clothing had his dark eyes narrowed and a serious expression on his face. The lad was taller than Dyne; he was also much more muscular. This individual had Salvarn heritage. His cheekbones resembled the mountains Salvar to the East of the Ashtolov Lake. Dyne's life inevitably lead him to Salvar and that's how he met the big man that now lurked with him. The man's name was Torrence and he'd left Salvar to speak to Dyne about a newly discovered temple lurking in Corone. Torrence clearly wanted to obtain acquisition of the Temple before Corone's Empire got to it. The other men were the Ancestors of the House of Sora. Ken Kilpatrick; Tulmatra Methadras; Ahkanatin Ra.
Each of these three men had a stake in House of Sora's endeavors as they were the House Ancestors. They had much more authority in some aspects of the House than Dyne had; who was a Patriarch. He was the leader of Lodge Bladestorm. Lodge Bladestorm was the military wing of the House of Sora. Ken was a ship builder. Tulmatra was a famous Surveyor of newly found frontiers. Ra was a mason. Each of the Ancestors had a different stake in the newly discovered temple. But most of all; Torrence's stake was a religious crisis. Torrence deeply revered Lord Draconus; one of the Greater Thaynes of Althanas and a god of war. Torrence wanted to go to the temple to pray to his chosen Thayne. The Thaynes were part of a specific pantheon of deities worshiped by many and hated by many. Some viewed the religion as a dangerous cult. Dyne was a follower of a strange deity that was not a Thayne; he called himself Lord Philemon. Up until the time of the discovery of this new temple; and the events in Salvar, Dyne had no particular care for the Thaynes.
However; the recent events was making him think twice about it. Especially with the recently acquired knowledge of the Otano. Yet another pantheon of deities native to Althanas. Torrence slammed his fist to the ground.
"Don't you see what we can loose out on if we don't secure this temple before the Corone Empire does? It's a valuable military asset! We can acquire the artifacts of Lord Draconus and obtain an edge in battle." The Salvarn man was clearly very annoyed that he had to yell. Ra and the other ancestors were looking over the documents on the table. Tulmatra's main concern was studying the maps that they'd received as part of the project. Dyne was thinking about the cost of lives it would take to go up against the will of the Empire.
"You must see my concern here." The others stopped everything they were doing when Dyne spoke up. He moved the pipe from his lips, his eyes casually narrowed as he studied the scene before him. "You've said so yourself. The Corone Empire is moving against the newly discovered temple; probably in an attempt to destroy it or quarantine it in some way. We'd only have a small window to acquire the temple for ourselves before the Empire does. If the agents of the Empire come forward I foresee a battle as a being inevitable. I don't like it anymore than you do; but time would be against us Torrence. There are too many risks involved here. I don't want to have any of my men killed during this operation needlessly."
"Then send a small tactical force!" Torrence said; closing his fist as if trying to get his point across. "This is a rare chance in history; it is proof that the Thaynes exist! There is value and wealth there beyond our imagining for assisting the Thaynes and furthering their cause." Torrence relaxed into a more pleading gesture now. "Please..." He begged.
"Cormyr; I want to point out something interesting. According to the current maps of the site; the terrain is very rough. A smaller force would probably be more beneficial to a large military excursion. If you do agree to take this job; there's a lot of environmental risks here. Not to mention monsters lurking deep in Concordia." The Surveyor said. The Mason added a valuable point to sway the argument. Ra spoke. "It would be a chance to explore objects made of divinity. That's too valuable to pass up."
Dyne listened.
"How much will you pay us for the job?"
"One thousand gold a head." Torrence said. "Plus whatever objects you find of interest to you and the House of Sora. I must apologize again for Renald's insolence against you that time; he has hostilities towards outsiders." Renald was an Enchanter native to Salvar. "So the usual fair huh?" Dyne responded towards the man's answers. "Very well Torrence. I will prepare a small force of dedicated Lodge Bladestorm warriors for this trip. Know this; our price will be doubled if we have to fight the Empire in anyway." Torrence nodded; his excitement level clearly rising. Ra looked over at Dyne with a surprised expression on his face; but kept his thoughts to himself. The surveyor nodded and began to prepare the available maps for the trip ahead which would require all of their help. "Make no mistake Torrence. I have no care for the Thaynehood; but I am curious. I want to see their power for myself. I am going there to learn more about these 'Gods' of yours."
"Very well Dyne. I'm just glad you said yes."
"There are conditions we need to discuss." Dyne said.
"All right; name them."
And that's how it all began.
Eyanie had stumbled upon this place of training quite by accident. And now, her curiosity was piqued. Four men, very big and powerful men compared to her slight frame, were gathered about a leather chair and a table, seeming to be discussing something of great import. Drawing in a breath, she could almost taste the tension that hung in the air like water vapor.
Eyanie checks to be sure her dagger is still safely sheathed in her right boot. It had come in handy lately, though she never thought she'd actually have to use it when she bought it. Well, maybe to whittle a bit here and there out of boredom, but never to defend herself. Checking the walls, the weapons hanging there, gave her an idea. Maybe, just maybe, here she could find a bit of training. Tossing her head, long chestnut curls fall in silky waves down her back, just brushing the curve of her waist.
Pushing away from the door-jam, she clears her throat, softly at first, then again, louder, "Excuse me. Excuse me! I wondered if someone could tell me where I might find the person to talk to about some self-defense classes? Or maybe just how to fight classes?"

Dyne heard the door open. His eyes went wide for the briefest of moment as they were intruded upon; then they narrowed casually. Turning in his chair; he moved to see their "guest" from around the arm of the chair. Torrence coughed casually and the rest of the assembled party immediately stopped what they were doing. The House of Sora seniority was kind to its members; especially potential recruits. Dyne stood up from his chair when he heard the young one's inquiry. Lodge Bladestorm was a school; it was possible that the potential student got sent there by the Headmaster.
Taking matters into his own hand, the apprentice raised his hand towards his companions. Ra looked upon the girl with great interest. Torrence sighed audibly looking at the documents in his hand; but wearing a comfortable expression on his face. The other two simply watched the situation casually as it unfolded before them. The great surveyor was busy looking through various maps of the site they were about to explore in the name of the House of Sora.
"You've come to the right place stranger. New classes are starting this semester as it is. The House of Sora is always looking for new members and Lodge Bladestorm is always looking for new members as well. I am the Patriarch of Lodge Bladestorm; one of the leaders of the House of Sora." He adjusted his glasses. Dyne was a short man which was typically uncommon in the realm of Althanas. However; he was built like a tank. His muscles bulged even beneath the Vlince clothing that he wore to signify his status as a nobleman. He wore green colors that day to reflect the color of his brilliantly shining green eyes. An intellect was there in his face. For someone so young; he'd obviously obtained a great deal of influence and power in a very short time.
He was accomplished. The young man carefully watched the girl's reactions and observed her physique. She seemed a stout lass. Her clothing reflected that of a commoner; they could change that in the House of Sora. He continued talking to her to be certain that the attention was fixed solely upon him. The other matter of the current job could wait.
"We are accepting new members. I have a spare necklace if you would consider joining the House of Sora."
Dyne said in a polite sort of way. Everything about his demeanor was controlled; full of respect, and most importantly polite. This man was clearly well mannered. Dyne adjusted his glasses once more and set the pipe upon a nearby table. Smoke flowed from the pipe like the wisps of a ghost. Dyne extended his hand towards the girl. "If you want to join the House of Sora I can put you on a job right away. My companions and I were just discussing such a matter."
This drew expressions of arched brows from his companion. Torrence looked at Dyne with a hint of a frustrated scowl on his face.
Eyanie can't help but to be drawn to this charismatic person, and that makes her more cautious than she had been. Obviously she'd interrupted something important. For the briefest of moments, she thought about leaving, but the rumble of her empty stomach changed her mind quickly. A glance is spared to the other men in the room, smiling briefly at them before turning once more to Dyne. The aura of power that rolls off the man is certainly not missed, and a brow was raised, never one to cower.
"Join you? I'll think about it. But, if that job would still be open..." She lets the words trail off as she boldly approaches the Patriarch and his companions. Not once does her gaze waver, full of pride herself, regardless of the circumstances she would find herself in. Of course, Eyanie reminds herself, One can never be too picky about where their next meal comes from.

Dyne observed the woman's behavior quite intently. She gave off the demeanor of a noblewoman but was dressed in a stature that was unbecoming of her. He looked at her shapely figure for a moment; memorizing every line and every curve of her person. She had the scent of an adventurer. Remembering his manners; Dyne chuckled out loudly to no one but himself. "Forgive me dear lady; my name is Alberdyne Cormyr. You are amongst friends. Of course you could use this job as a chance to prove yourself worthy for membership into the House of Sora." Dyne motioned extravagantly to an empty nearby seat. "Please, come, be seated my friend. You must be exhausted from your long trip.
You must be hungry as well."
Observing his companions they prepared to finish the business at hand. Torrence cleared his throat whilst Tulmatra continued to observe the detailed maps that they'd acquired. He ran his hand through his hair whilst not paying much attention to the ongoing events. Ra looked at his longtime companion and patted Tumatra on the shoulder. Ken suddenly remembered another matter that needed attending. "Well brothers; if there is naught that you will be needing me for; I shall take my leave. If you need ships for the trip you know how to contact me." Dyne broke his gaze from Eyanie for a brief moment to nod towarsd Ken Kilpatrick. The man was built much leaner than the other two ancestors of the House of Sora.
He took his leave in order to go back to the shipyards at Serenti. Serenti was a large harbor district within Corone that hosted the yearly Serenti Invitational tournament. The event drew large groups of warriors and magi from all over Althanas. Dyne waited for her to be seated when another knock on the door interrupted the session further. Dyne turned to look at Torrence and the others. "We are adjourned. The minutes for this meeting are logged into the House of Sora's personal records. Torrence, I will accept the job offer." Torrence nodded, enthused by the sudden turn of events. Where moments earlier; things seemed bleak, the outcome turned in his favor.
"Thank you Sir Cormyr. I knew I could rely on you." Torrence said; bowed and took his leave of the room. The big Salvarn man nodded respectfully to the potential prospect of a new House of Sora member. House of Sora members were viewed in great respect by the people since they were an organization by the people; for the people. Opening the door; a maid was allowed into the room with a tray full of food and drinks for the group of social elites. Torrence patted Dyne on the back on the way out. The youth simply shrugged politely and took a seat once more. Only Ken and Ra remained.
"At your leisure Sir Cormyr; there is a matter I would like to discuss with you."
"All right Aurora." Now Aurora was Akhanatin Ra's House of Sora name. Joining the power group earned one a nickname having to do with celestial matters of the sky. It was their House of Sora identity. Ra took his leave shortly after Ken left. Tulmatra continued to observe the documents in his hands and would continue to do so for the next few hours. He took a sip of coffee for a long moment and went right back to work. He was analyzing the charts, maps, and other documents that were given to him as part of the preparations for the trip. Dyne sat down. Looking at the tray of food and drink; a sweet smell of honey flowed from the pitcher. It was filled with hot herbal tea. The youth poured a goblet full of the substance for Eyanie and handed it over to her. "Careful. It's hot, but it's very healthy for you. Unlike ale." The youth said with a kind inclination in his voice.
Eyanie submitted to the scrutiny given by the man and lifted her chin rather proudly. Unconsiously, her hand strays up to tame the wild curls that tumble wildly about her shoulders. Taking the offered seat, Eyanie simply lounges casually, though her eyes dart to and fro, her attitude is casual, as though she did this everyday. "I am Eyanie Indarrion. Nice to meet you. Your friends certainly seem..friendly. Now.."here she tips her head slightly, regarding Alberdyne with a curious sort of look, "I never did say I wanted prove anything. I just need a job."
At the mention of food, her stomach rumbles loudly, garnering a half grin as she presses a hand lightly to her belly, "Excuse me. I haven't eaten for a bit, and my stomach insists on reminding me of that fact. A little something would be very appreciated."
When he looks away, Eyanie takes the time to look over the room. Oh, it was huge, and oppulent. The others seemed fairly well dressed and fed. Perhaps it wouldn't be a bad thing to stay here for a while. Maybe accept the offer to belong at least somewhere for once, and not on the street. But the streets were comforting. You always knew what to expect, and none of it was good. There were no rules, no one to tell you what to do, unless you counted the would be flaunters of women. No, that was something she'd never sunk low enough to do, not even half starved and beaten.
Jerking her attention back to the matter at hand, Eyanie sits up straighter in the chair and accepts the tea, breathing in the sweet, refreshing scent before taking a cautious sip. "Thank you very much. So, what would I have to do for this job..or to even be considered for membership?"

Dyne listened to every word she spake even though his face was currently locked on the food. He ate casually; offering her some of the very large dish of food he was eating too. There was oxen meat; vegetables, fruits, cranberry sauce, and rice imported from Akashima. Yes, the man seemed to be clearly well connected. He had to be in order to maintain his position as the Patriarch of Lodge Bladestorm. When she was done speaking; the youth took his time to respond. He swallowed a bit of the hot tea. He was famished. The meeting with his compatriots took all day long to complete and he hadn't eaten anything up until that moment. Which was a big downside of his position; he found himself rarely resting.
Sitting on the chair felt good. He eyed the various portions of the room, the food resting on a small coffee table located at his side. Dyne took several more meticulous bites of his dish, savoring the unique texture of the rice. "Try this rice. It's from Akashima." Dyne said. "The Oxen is from Condordia Forest. It's very rich meat; high in protein." He let her words linger in the air; they were as sweet as honey. He remembered his meeting with Anila and how that had gone. The Akashiman instructor proved to be as sharp as a knife. Dyne let his memories pass quickly as he drank the tea feeling the hot texture of the substance flow down his throat. She had many questions about the House of Sora. He would answer them all; at his pace. Putting the goblet down and taking a few more bites of his dinner, the youth looked towards Tulmatra, who'd gotten his own food on his own. He had some of the rice and oxen meat on his dish and ate at a slow pacing. He didn't acknowledge Dyne or Eyanie for the time being. He was absorbed in his work. And after all; this room was a designated meeting area for the leaders of the House of Sora. Seti Dylan himself traveled through this room from time to time.
"You'd be coming in as an initiate until you prove your worth. This job would be a perfect chance for you to do so. I'd gladly pay you the sum of five hundred gold to get you started on your journey." Dyne said in a casual sort of way. He got up from his seat and walked over to a small chest that rested on one of the many shelves. It had the House of Sora insignia upon it. The psionic opened the small chest and within it; a brilliant glow of silver. He observed the spare House of Sora pendants and removed one. One he figured would look best on the girl. Even though they were all completely identical.
"Upon agreeing to take this necklace, you will agree to abide by the rules of the House of Sora; always. We will become your extended family. Where once you might have come from nothing; you will belong to something. We are workers; builders, soldiers, warriors, politicians, just about anything that requires doing. Right now Corone is currently in a terrible state of affairs. There is a Civil War going on. The Empire has taken over the Corone Republic. There is much work that needs to be completed over the coming months and years. We need new members with a fresh perspective on the world." He turned towards her now; his green eyes seemed to shine brilliantly in the eyes. The youth was a handsome lad. His royal heritage quite visible in his well contoured face. He walked over to her and made an attempt to hand her the necklace. "If you agree to take this necklace; you are already a House of Sora member. We can protect you and assist you with all of our resources." There was a truly generous expression on the youth's face. "If you accept; I'll explain to you this job we are about to go on."
"Either way it goes; I'll give you food and housing until you want to join the House of Sora."
Eying the plate, she reaches hesitantly at first, then quickly snatches a piece of fruit. It disappears into her mouth almost as quickly as it had been taken. Chewing slowly, Eyanie licks the juice off her fingers, all the while watching Alberdyne. Did he have an ulterior motive? What was his angle? He had to want something more than just another member of his house.
An initiate, starting at the bottom..she ponders this for a moment before swallowing the bit of fruit, declining the offer of rice and meat with a shake of her head, "No, thank you. Fruit is enough for now. You are most generous."
The offer of money causes her to sit up even straighter in the chair. Five hundred gold? That was more than she'd see stealing in a year. Curious eyes follow the man's every move..and admiring that movement as well. Licking her lips, the lingering sweetness of the fruit clinging to them, Eyanie leans back, not wanting to seem quite so eager, just in case she can negotiate a better rate of pay. "That is a lovely pendant." Trying to seem casual, she looks at her nails and barely hides the wince at the dirt under them. "And all I have to do is prove I am worthy enough to belong? I think I can handle that."
Alright, it was the offer of food and housing that got her. A nice bed, a warm meal, what else could a girl ask for. Except that maybe that bed not be quite as empty as she thinks it's going to be. With a sigh, she nods and looks up at Dyne, "I accept the offer, and the job." Well, there goes her chance to haggle. Eyanie just hopes this decision isn't one she will regret...like so many others

Dyne was good with people. He always had been for most of his life; especially the latter years of his life. Dyne observed the girl for a long moment, handing her the necklace for the House of Sora. "Protect that necklace with your life." Dyne said casually, leaning in close to her. Taking in her scent. He smiled at that and sat back on his chair. "Now that business is out of the way, let's see to dinner. I'm famished." Dyne ate his food bit by bit as he was talking to her. He moved the small coffee table so that it was closer to her individual person; so she could take food and drink as well.
"I'm glad that you are going to be joining our group. We could always use new prospects." Dyne said, explaining the situation further. "In case you haven't guessed at it yet; or it hasn't come to your attention, there is a Civil War going on within Corone. Many are homeless and have become displaced by the war. A recent series of assassinations left our government in a state of weakness. During that time it became an Empire. We're still feeling the wake of such a disaster. Officially, the House of Sora is pro growth in general with civilization. But we are for the people. We have been trying to negotiate dealings with the Empire to secure that the people survive. We want to avoid another Gisela Massacre from occurring ever again." Dyne adjusted his glasses and look of venom touched his face for the briefest of moments. He kept his eyes on the girl as he spoke; but his gaze seemed far away. It was clear he was thinking of matters that were on a higher degree of importance than the current matter. Dyne Corona was a man of action and wanted to be on the front lines of the war. Many were dying as they spoke.
"Forgive me dear lady. I was rambling. I didn't mean to talk about such matters. You're probably very tired right now. Do you require a place to stay for the night? I can get you situated with a spare room in the lodge. It is not much but its a warm bed to sleep on." He said with a soft smile on his face. Dyne had wrinkles on his eyes from lack of sleep. He was not one that slept very often; in his sleep he saw things that terrified him. Dark visions; the visions of a Psionic. He saw the dead.
Sitting back against the chair that surrounded him; the youth took a long pull of his drink. It tasted good. The texture was fluid and the quality was of the highest make. Dyne enjoyed Akashiman food very much. Drinking the hot tea he poured himself another mug. There was much more work to be done before the night was through. The House of Sora was in full swing. He turned to return his gaze to Eyanie. She was a beautiful woman. Dyne found himself blushing slightly; turning red at the cheeks when...
"Ahem. Comrades; I found something of interest. I believe that this temple will be indeed worth our expending resources. Take a look at these maps." Tulmatra narrowed his eyes casually and adjusted his own spectacles. He kept his eyes locked on Dyne and Eynaie. Dyne stood up; walking towards the table and observed Tulmatra's findings. "What am I looking at here?" Dyne asked looking at the various etchings and drawings imported directly from the site. "Look at this structure right here." Tulmatra pointed at the main building of the site. "It tooks months and years to excavate." Dyne shrugged. "So? It looks like any other Temple of the ancients to me." Tulmatra shook his head. "Look closer Dyne. You're supposed to be smarter than that! The architecture is not of Ancient Corone design." Tulmatra said. And then Dyne saw it. The columns and the general make up of the building was not similar to ancient Coronian design. It was possible something foreign built it. Something new. The ancient Thayne perhaps or their disciples? His brain started to work. He saw a puzzle waiting to be solved.
"Eyanie come take a look at this. How familiar are you with Architectural design?" Dyne asked of the girl. He wanted to involve her in every aspect of this job.
Eyanie took the necklace reverently and placed it around her neck. The charm falling below the ragged shirt she wore to nestle between her breast, warmed by his hands still. Eating from the offered plate, though not once touching the meat, Eyanie listens, nodding when appropriate or making some sound of agreement when needed. Oh yes, things out there were terrible, horrible with people on the streets starving and killing for a crumb of bread.
"No, do ramble on. I don't mind, in fact, I like the sound of your voice," it took her a moment to realize what she said before hastily pretending to wipe her hands of something, "Th-that is..I mean..a room would be nice."
Snapping her teeth together, she ducks her head, blushing profusely, but not before noticing the color tinging his cheeks as well. In the slightly awkward silence that followed, Eyanie continued to take pieces of fruit and even had a cup of the tea. A brow shoots up in surprise, it was indeed as good as Dyne had said.
The voice of the architect intruded, thankfully and Eyanie had a chance to study the man. Well, it wasn't hard to study him anyway. Easy on the eyes, and nice too. There had to be a flaw..somewhere..no one was that perfect. With a sigh, she reaches for the cup of tea, only to snatch her hand back when he calls her over. "I really don't know much about it, but I'll try to give my best opinion."

Standing there casually; Dyne noticed that Eyanie moved in close. He didn't mind really; he liked the attention she seemed to be giving him. Looking around the rows of books that surrounded the trio; the youth carefully observed the room. He like the particular sheen of texture that liviol seemed to radiate from its very surface. Dyne turned his attention to the maps that Tulmatra was observing. Following his instinct; Dyne attempted to wrap an arm about her waist since she was very close to him. He felt crimson touch his cheeks and remain there. He was still a young man after all playing at being a hero.
Dyne observed the maps whilst smelling her sweet scent. She had a good smell about her; the scent reminded him of strawberry fields. He sighed contently for a moment. Dyne was glad that he was able to recruit yet another member for the House of Sora. This time; a woman capable of defending herself and becoming an adequate addition to the rapidly swelling ranks of the House of Sora. Or was something else swelling? Dyne wasn't sure but he did feel something stirring in his pants that had long since been neglected...
He coughed audibly for a moment trying to place himself back in the situation at hand. His hands were shaking a little bit as he observed the documents on the table; moving them one by one and investigating the design of the buildings. He noticed one important aspect; the architectural design was not consistent with the architecture of ancient Corone; circa Pre the Demon War time. Dyne was worried by this troubling revelation. His hand was placed on the table for a moment as he studied Tulmatra.
"Are you sure these are accurate?"
"They are. We have site mappers in the area now. House of Sora worked quickly to claim the site. Now we have people there defending against raiders and would be looters." Tulmatra said. His eyes were casually observing the interesting dynamics between Alberdyne and Eyanie. "Then its possible it's a new branch of history all together? One not written in the texts of lore?" Dyne said as he adjusted his glasses. "I don't know what it is we're looking at Dyne. But this could be a very valuable project here. We have to secure it before Empire does." Tulmatra said. He looked over at Eyanie for a moment. "Shouldn't you get our new friend a room for the night? I'm sure she's very tired from her trip here."
He heard Tulmatra's statement and nodded. "Right." Turning towards Eyanie he adjusted his position softly. "Let's see if we can fix you up with your own room. Let's make a trip over to the lodge." Dyne said casually with just a hint of mischief in his voice. "You're welcome to stay at my place if you'd like."
Eyanie didn’t mind really, the arm that snuck around her waist. As she settled closer, not making any sort of secret that indeed she found him quite attractive, in a bookish sort of way, the woman also studies the map, reaching to tuck a stray lock of hair behind her ear. Since he’d, for some odd reason, sniffed her, Eyanie draws in a breath, her nose filled with the maleness that seems to exude from his body. A mix of musky sweat and..soap maybe? A hint of a blush stains her cheeks as she peers down at the map, not really knowing what she’s looking at.
As though she could sense his discomfort, Eyanie subtly adjusts her own position. Not very much, quite comfortable with the weight of Alberdyne’s arm around her waist. She glances betwixt the two men, trying to follow their conversation, and failing oh so miserably. Relief flashes a moment over the woman’s delicate features when the question of lodging is posed. “Oh, I really just want a bed that’s clean and bugless for once.”
Oh how that blush deepens, perhaps a few new shades of crimson would be discovered in Eyanie’s cheeks, “You’re offer is generous, but I wouldn’t want to put you out” Darting a glance to the surveyor, her previous thought of him being an architect having been erroneous, wondering what it is he is thinking. Shaking off the vague sense of amusement that comes from the man, her hazel eyes, a mix of green and brown with amber flecks in them, turn to the one man who had captured her interest in a very long time.

"I have a spare in my apartment. It really wouldn't be a bother and it could use a woman's touch." Dyne said casually. His voice was confident; albeit a little bit flustered. He fancied himself a philosopher; a user of words. He found himself stumbling like a grade schooler in front of the pretty girl. He'd rarely used his gift of intellect on others around him so it was a pleasant change of pace to find himself in the company of that girl. She held his interest, there was something about her that he liked. He took another sip of his tea and set the goblet down. "Tulmatra; have the servant send my dinner over to my room okay?" Dyne asked casually. Tulmatra nodded with just a hint of annoyance. "Very well Corona. Would you like anything else Sir Patriarch? Or will that be all?"
There was the slightest hint of amused annoyance in the man's voice. Dyne was used to by now. He was the youngest leader that the House of Sora had at this point. It was also note able that the youth had obtained much military experience by his current age. Many followed the Patriarch and would give him their lives. Dyne wielded that power with great responsibility being the pacifist that he was. Though a pacifist; he was no hypocrite. He turned towards Eyanie who was the latest recruit of the House of Sora. "Come then let's go to my place and become better acquainted." It was a matter-of-fact offer filled with the promises of that the later night would produce. Perhaps a warm bed filled with her company.
Just perhaps...

((Small bunny to move things forward))
The walk from the meeting room towards Dyne's apartment in the lodge area was a quick and uneventful one. He held Eyanie's hand the entire time they walked. Keeping quiet; the youth's eyes were ever vigilant on their environment around them. A trained soldier; Dyne had military experience with the Corone Rangers and the Monks of Ai'Bron. He would tell her of all these matters when they were settled in his place and talking the night away and perhaps other matters.
Walking through a long hallway; the lodge was very close to the military center of the House of Sora. It was an ordinary Coronian town. Made of liviol and brick mortar; the building was a brownstone in nature. It was several stories tall with the larger apartment complexes built on the higher floors of the building. Lodging was provided for all of the House of Sora members who choose to partake of the free rooms. Lodging was offered by rank and file as well. If you did well; you received better accommodations.
Dyne took out the keys to the simple locks and was greeted on the way to the apartment by several House of Sora members. It seemed obvious that the leader was quite popular with his people. He quickly undid the lock and opened the door for his guest. He waited for her to enter the lavish apartment first. "I have a guest bed or you could sleep in my bed. It's up to you. I don't mind either way really." He paused after realizing what he just said and how it mind sound. He blushed furiously. "Well I mean to say that I wouldn't be in the bed unless you wanted that of course...I could sleep on the couch." He said casually. "It wouldn't be a bother to me. My beds are always clean." He found himself smiling afterwards.
Eyanie smiles to herself, catching the flustered tone in Alberdyne’s voice. It was nice to know that she wasn’t the only one feeling this attraction. Though, if anything were to come of it is yet to be seen. Chuckling a bit at the exchange between the two men, she steps back from the table. Looking about the room absently. Normally, Eyanie would have known each exit and route of alternate escape, yet just being here made the woman feel safe and protected. Tucking a strand of chestnut behind her ear, she nods and follows Dyne out. Just the thought of a warm bed, filled or not, was enough to make her groan.
As uneventful as the walk was, Eyanie wished it wouldn’t end. The silence wasn’t disturbing as one would find most prolonged periods of noiselessness. Infact, her hand fit quite nicely in his. While he kept vigil in what seemed a safe enough place, her mind was racing. ~What are you thinking girl. You barely know this man, and you are going to be staying in his apartments..alone. Bad, oh bad things ahead for you.~
Shaking off such thoughts, after all, it wasn’t as though anything was going to happen. He seemed to be a gentleman. Such a shame really though, that he seemed so nice, Eyanie never had much luck with the nice ones. Taking note of how warmly Dyne was greeted, the woman couldn’t help but be proud, and maybe a little giddy, that it was her hand he was holding. Biting her lip, Anie again shoved the thought of anything more than maybe a fling with this man out of her head. Wishful thinking never got anyone more than heartache and tears.
Stepping into the apartment, a breath is held at the opulence. The almond shape of her eyes widen, never having seen so much wealth in her life. Nothing about this place had prepared her for the comfort afforded the leader, in fact, they had seemed rather Spartan from what she’d seen on her way in. Wandering around the room, she turns a slow circle in the center, “You live here? I don’t mean to seem provincial, but..wow. Nice place you got.”
A grin tips up the corners of her mouth, the lips full and inviting as she darts the tip of her tongue out unconsciously to moisten them. Really, if anything, her excitement really was from the anticipation of sleeping, really sleeping, in a bed. The words that come out of Dynes mouth, as awkward as they seemed to him, brought a bubble of laughter rising to spill out unexpectedly, “I’d not want to put you out of your own bed. I can take the guest room….” She’d been about to say more when a knock sounded on the door. With Alberdyne’s attention taken from her, a breath is taken and her hands are wiped down the ragged cloth of her pants, drying the palms while she takes a closer look around. When he returns it’s with a tray to be set on a table, the smell of his dinner wafting from beneath the dome that keeps it warm. As tempting as the food is, a yawn is barely stifled with the back of her hand.

Dyne observed everyone of her movements. He was analyzing her, learning everything he could about her. In a nutshell, Dyne had a good feeling about the girl and found himself liking her. His cheeks were etched in a crimson tone as he talked to her. There was a casual approach to the whole situation. As the maid brought the food and drink to his living area; the Patriarch poured himself some more hot tea. Dyne disliked drinking ale and liquor, he strongly felt that the substances clouded ones' judgment and prevented them from thoroughly enjoying moments of import just like these.
Keeping his eyes locked upon her form; Dyne memorized every single line and curve that comprised her figure. She was well shaped for an underfed girl. She had assets that Dyne admired from a poetic point of view. He would love to see her nude. The sudden thought made him realize that he had a bulge in his pants that would soon require some attention. He could take care of it himself; but would like it if she was the one to do so. Sitting down upon one of the many seating arrangements in the room; Dyne made his way to a couch. He moved his hand elaborately and patted the place next to himself on the couch.
"Please my friend. Be seated. Make yourself comfortable. This is your home as well. I do appreciate the compliments that you offer my humble establishment. You provide me with a great honor. Insofar as sleeping in my bed goes, it would be a small matter. I just want you to be comfortable as possible."
"I can arrange for you to get some new clothing in the morning as well if that is your fancy."
Dyne added in matter of fact sort of way. The room was well furnished and was a living area. By most noble standards, the apartment was rather small and simply a place that Dyne called home. The apartment had basic furnishings; a bathroom, a large closet, two bedrooms, a kitchen that was used by the young apprentice, and an alcove area. A few paintings requested from the youth's former home in Concordia Forest were hanging and on display for the world to see. One painting in particular; was a classical portrait done in the Raiaeran style from Eluriand. It was done for Dyne's family ages ago and was a visual representation of his Father done in the old classic painting style. The art style was made popular from before the Demon War took grip of Althanas and an entire generation of Althanas' culture simply was lost to the fires of war. Dyne found himself looking at the painting of his Father for a moment. It was the only portrait of his family that was known to exist. He also managed to salvage a single bust made in the image of his Father that was in the same art style; though applied to sculpture work.
It was a mason work done with a granite slab. The detail in the work was extremely uncanny. In the room living hall was also a series of bookshelves containing various books and volumes that Dyne enjoyed reading. He'd managed to collect a fair number of books in his adventuring days so far as a warrior. After taking a sip of the hot Akashiman tea; Dyne stood up and took a particular book out of one of the shelves. It was a book of Raiaeran poetry; one of his favorite volumes on the subject. It was by a famous Elf named Ardonious Lethaniel. Another one of those rags to riches stories that often inspired the youth of Althanas to do better than they would normally do on their own. It was inspiration.
The living room featured a well formed liviol table that must've set back Dyne's benefactors quite a bit. Most of the furniture in the apartment was inherited by the Patriarch when he'd obtained his position. He held the book in his hand and flipped the pages to a particular poem he liked a lot.
"O how doth thy auburn hair tumble across thy back.
O how doth thy full lips resemble a duality of roses.
See how thou hast become my heart's desire?
See how thou hast filled my soul with longing?
Thou hast become a part of me.
A living extension of mine heart.
Mine desire for thee threatens to consume me with madness and
obsession. An obsession that belies the ages.
An obsession that will last all eternity.
"
Dyne took a deep breath after he finished reading the poetry. He walked over towards the table and placed the volume down. From there; he moved back towards his goblet of tea and drank another pull of it. There was an extra goblet set on the furnishings for his companion. "Obsession of the soul. Its by a famous poet named Ardonious Lathaniel." He took another pull of the sweet tasting tea. "He hailed from Raiaera about two centuries ago." He said calmly. "His books are still very popular." The pacifist adjusted his glasses and looked calmly at her face once more. He enjoyed looking into her eyes. He waited for her response.
She eyed the furniture, then her own grubby appearance. Though what she had on, she'd taken as good care of as she could manage, Eyanie still felt that it wouldn't be right to dirty up the man's quarters, "Actually, I'm fine, thank you." The book case caught her attention then and she wandered over to it. Oh, not that she could read, survival didn't leave much time for such trivial learnings.
"New clothes? Yes, I'd appreciate that. But, I've no money really to pay for anyone to make them."
Idly, a slender finger ran over the spines of each volume, and when Alberdyne chose one, plucking it from amongst the others, she was curious and listened intently to the poem. A smile curved her full lips as he recited it, maybe a bit selfconsiously, a hand went to smooth down the dark reddish-brown of her hair, a finger touching her own lips as he read. It seemed as though he read it for her, and a blush stained her cheeks. This was unusual, never had such flowery words affected Eyanie, not even when unscrupulous men had tried to get her to whore herself for them. Shaking off the unpleasantness, she stiffled a yawn behind her hand.
"It's..aaaah..Sorry, I'm must be more tired than I thought. The poem was lovely, it really was." a glance is cast towards the doors which seemed to lead to bedrooms.I wonder which one is his. As tired as I am, I don't think I want to sleep alone.

"Don't worry about the clothing. You wouldn't have to pay for it. It's part of joining the House of Sora. I have extras I can give you, or we can outfit you with new clothing. Its up to you. We take care of our own."
Dyne smiled at that proposition. The night was getting heated and very interesting. He quickly noticed the color on her skin and wondered if that was an effect of the poem, or perhaps something else? Placing the book on a nearby table, the youth walked meticulously over towards the drink he was consuming earlier. He took his goblet to his lips and took a long pull of the substance, feeling the still warm fluid flow down his throat. His eyes never left her figure.
Removing his glasses, the youth placed them upon the top of the book. "So what do you think you will be doing?" Dyne asked. Then he realized how vague his question was. He couldn't help but laugh at himself in a lighthearted sort of way. "What I meant to say was, do you want to take my bed? Or perhaps you want something else?" Dyne asked, feeling rather confident in himself. He didn't know why this was, but he found himself rather attracted to the girl. He walked over to her general direction and allowed himself to be as close as possible, without actually touching her.
His eyes were locked on his person. Green, intense, full of a curious intelligence. Something about her provided a mysterious allure to the youth, and he greedily wanted her for himself. He didn't know why this was. He found himself thinking about his mother and his mother's betrayal. Long ago, she'd killed his Father and the butler in the process. She was still at large, somewhere out there. She'd tried to kill him in the process too, stabbing his forehead with a mysterious dagger. That's when his mysterious power began to awaken.
Dyne felt goose bumps all over his epidermis. His eyes searched for her own eyes. His lips were just a few inches from hers. He breathed in her scent, the scent of wild and free abandon. With his usually tight guard raised, he found himself in a strangely foreign position with his guard lowered. He was normally confident around women, but this one, threw all of that right out the window. He was acting on pure, raw instinct.
And he wanted her.
"Oh, well in that case, I would greatly appreciate something warmer at least. And maybe some new boots too." A grin spread across her full lips, she couldn't remember when she'd smiled, or felt like laughing, last.
It took a moment for the question to sink in, and by then, she found herself staring up at the young man, mere inches from actually touching her, yet it felt as though he was. The heat from his body seemed to reach out and envelope her in a thick blanket of warmth. With her eyes, a soft brown with flecks of gold and a greenish-yellow ring around the outside, held by his, and his mouth so close Eyanie could smell the tea on his breath, the sudden impulse to taste that tea came over her. Never one to ignore instinct, let alone impulse, she closes the distance slowly, giving him a chance to step back, and rises up on her toes. Eyanie glances at his mouth, her intent merely to brush her lips against his if he didn't make a complete fool of her and take that step back.
"I think I'd like your bed, but I'd not like it alone."

((Bunnies approved))
Jackpot. Dyne thought to himself. He knew that he'd earned something really important that day, but couldn't quite put his fingers on it. She moved closer to taste his lips, and the apprentice simply stood his ground. Closing his eyes for a moment, he felt those full lips against his own, and allowed himself to relax and move in an attempt to kiss her back. Though by now, Dyne found himself extremely willing and accepting of the girl's companionship.
With his heart racing, Dyne felt the intensity of the moment. Goosebumps formed across his skin. The youth shivered with pleasure as they kissed. He felt his mouth work gently around her own. Parting with the moment, he opened it slightly to allow his teeth to graze 'gainst her lips. Closing his eyes, he saw bright reds tint the darkness.
Feeling confident in himself, the youth moved to wrap his arms about her waist casually. He pulled her closer to him. Feeling her warm body against his own. Many thoughts ran through the Patriarch's mind. Thoughts of ethical pursuits, and his own highly rigorous code of conduct. Is this the right thing to be doing? What would other House of Sora members think? What would Seti Dylan think?
Pondering the appropriate nature of this situation, Dyne normally tried to do the right thing. This time however, he find himself crossing a moral line as one of the leaders of a Power Group. Was it right for members of the leadership body to fraternize in such a way with new recruit? Would this cause a scandal? Dyne didn't have the answers. He was treading across new grounds. The hell with responsibilities. I am just a man holding this beautiful woman in my arms. Dyne broke the kiss for a moment to look into her gorgeous eyes once more.
"You are a skilled kisser. I want to see more of you. The bed we sleep in will definitely be filled with pleasure tonight." Dyne said casually and smiled. He really meant what he said right then.
Oh sweet heaven, he tastes like tea. Letting her mouth devour Dyne's, Eyanie takes a much needed breath when he moves away, her skin fairly on fire from his touch, "If you think I'm skilled at kissing, I'm about to really blow your mind."
With a wicked little grin, she'd take him by the hand and lead him to the room on the left. As simple and sparce as it was, she could only guess it to be his. It seemed the man didn't have much use for luxury. Stopping just inside the room, Eyanie turns, running her hands under his shirt, needing to feel his flesh, the heat of his skin against hers as she sweeps the garment off. "I don't know what's gotten into me. Never have I wanted someone so immediately, so..much as I do now." With those words, wide eyes would look up at him, imploring and pleading, "Dont think ill of me."
Rising on her toes, the woman claims his lips with her own, nibbling and licking at his mouth, learning the form and texture as he walks her back towards the bed. His hands, oh such wonderful hands, calloused and rouch against her skin. I'll die if he stops! It wasn't an embarrassment that he could probably count each rib as he moved his hands up towards her small breasts, the tips already hard and aching, begging for a caress. The flare of her hips were pointed and boney, nothing a few good meals wouldn't fix. When her legs hit the bed, she'd fall backwards, taking him with her.

Remembering the many romance novels that he'd read over the course of his education process, Dyne thought back to his technique. He continued to kiss her hungrily, having tasted the lips of many a woman in his day. However, he'd gone no farther than heavy kissing. Dyne had always held back at that point when things could go farther, but those old mental blocks were slowly shattering with the woman before him.
Examining her physique with his hands, he knew that she required several meals to regain her proper stature. Dyne saw an artistic, and philosophical beauty in that face. She was a few inches taller than he, but that mattered very little to him. He had many pounds, and a larger physique than her that was proud, well chiseled muscle. When his shirt was removed, it hit the ground quietly, fluttering downward like a pair of bird's wings. His physique was revealed as well as all of the terrible scars upon his person.
Including the most recent scar, the one he'd acquired in the Conquest Trials.
It marred his chest, making a strange marking when his pectorals bulged together with each hungry movement.
When she moved to kiss him, he melted into the movements alongside her, and the two were moving as though they were dancing a waltz. Dyne fell on the bed on top of her, adjusting his weight so that he didn't accidentally hurt her in anyway. She was a delicate feather and Dyne did not want to harm her in anyway whatsoever. Pulling the bedsheets from underneath them, he wrapped the sheets carefully about his naked person.
He thought that the scars made him ugly, but in the heat of the moment, he didn't care much.
Feeling a bulge in his pants, Dyne's loins ached with a hunger. A hunger for that girl, Eyanie. He felt his heart racing in his chest with a ferocity he never felt before for an individual like that. Breathing heavily, he continued to kiss her lustfully, letting his desires for her burn in his chest. Rising and falling with each breath he took, Dyne moved to consume the girl before him. He opened her legs wide, and allowed her to move as she wished. His erection bulged to the point it was going to explode, and a moment later, he'd pierced her lavia and shoved himself all the way inside of her. Then, he began to make love to her.
Eyanie, not caring about scars, old wounds or new, only thought about this man, her hands roaming at will. Over his back, her nails scored red lines, clawing at him as he loved her. Stars burst inside her, liquid heat spreading through her limbs that held the man tightly to her. OH how sweet it was to finally be filled, stretched to the point of near pain as her hips surged up to meet his thrusts. Small words were murmered in his ear as her lips trailed over his jaw and throat, encouraging words, telling him exactly what she wanted and how. This..this was different, this would not be a quick grope and coupling in some dirty alley for a few coins.
When at last she screams, his name bursting forth with exquisit pleasure, Eyanie arches against him, biting at his shoulder. Quickly, her muscles pulsing, he'd follow her into the abyss that was so sweet, one never wanted it to end and they both collapsed upon the bed, breathing heavily and glistening with beads of persperation."That was..." at a loss for words, Eyanie simply sighs in pleasure and shifts a bit so she can curl up next to him. It wouldn't be long before the woman fell asleep. And probably not much longer before she'd be woken again...

Dyne felt his seed exploding into her. A white light sheened off his skin from the pleasure in what felt like an eternity to the man. Feeling a volcanic eruption burst up into the girl's wormb, Dyne's body clenched tightly with the years of pent of frustration, anger, wrath.
Memories burst across his face, projecting forward until they consumed him. The pleasure was a blessing of the Thaynehood, a direct communion with the All-Thayne itself. Dyne felt himself rising a wave of euphoria and his head was in the clouds. Feeling his eyes rolling up to the ceiling, his body shook with the incredible sensations he was feeling. He held her until he released every ounce of his liquid magma into her person.
When the deed was done, he fell slack against the bed. Spent. The pleasure felt like he was flying, but he held her closely to him gasping. She fell asleep in his arms. Dyne hummed in her ears remembering some tunes he'd learned growing up. Some tunes his mother used to sing to him. Thoughts of his mother made him angry, but he didn't want to spoil the moment.
The bedsheets were sticky with cum and sweat. Dyne's powerful arms wrapped themselves around the body of the girl. She felt so fragile to him, but the warmth and heat radiated a sort of inner strength. Dyne could see what most others couldn't. There was something special about the girl.
When she fell asleep in his arms, the man held her closely to him. He continued to hum softly in her ears. His hand massaging her belly. Understanding the ramifications of what he'd just done...Dyne felt a particularly special connection developing with Eyanie. More special than with any other girl he'd ever come across. His face wore a soft expression as he realized something quite interesting. She is going to mother my children. And she did so willingly. He kissed her forehead softly. His hand gently playing with her soft hair. Sweat made the bed sheets cling to his body with static. A part of him wanted to use the time to do things other than lay there doing nothing, but the more kind hearted side of Dyne wanted the moment to last forever.
Looking at the mother of his children Dyne felt as if a piece of his life had finally reached a close. First it was joining the House of Sora, then it was using his leadership capacity to participate in the Conquest Trials, now, Dyne was looking at the mother of his children. A girl he hardly knew. And at the same time, he felt like he knew everything about her. He kissed her forehead gently and whispered to her. "I love you Eyanie. Mother of my children." He said quietly to nobody in particular.
The trip to Lord Draconus' Temple could wait until he was done knowing a rare moment of peace.
Eyanie curled up into Dyne's arms, instinctively seeking the security and warmth she missed in the waking world. Her dreams were pleasant for once and not filled with shadowy monsters and the scent of blood. Vaguely, she heard the words, and a smile curved up her lips, her hand instinctively splaying over her lower stomach, a protective gesture all mothers made.
It was only a few hours later that Eyanie woke, for a moment forgetting where she was and turned in the protective circle of Alberdyne's arms, frowning as she took a moment to collect her thoughts. Her clothes..well, they were somewhere and for some reason, she didn't feel like getting out of bed. Safe. That's what was different, she was safe and warm and fed. Three things that Eyanie hadn't had in a long time. Of course, there was something different too, but she had yet to put her finger on what it was.
Studying this man's face, it took a moment to notice his eyes were open and watching. Such a beautiful green, they almost belong on a woman Smiling softly, she presses a kiss to his mouth, murmering as she pulls away, "Have you slept?"

Many hours passed by slowly. Like some clockwork machine made in the depths of Alerar, time marched on almost accusingly. Dyne never slept. He'd learned the Monk's meditation techniques to keep himself from falling asleep. His nighttime world was a world filled with nightmares, bad dreams, and the calls of the dead. He didn't want to rejoin that world when such comfort was in his arms.
Keeping his arms wrapped firmly about her person, he let the question linger in the air between them for a brief moment. Had I slept? What kind of a question is that? Dyne wondered. He shook his head in the negative a few moments later. "No. I don't sleep." The words were spoken in a matter of fact sort of way. He was surprised that Eyanie had slept so long in such situation, all things considered. Carefully keeping himself occupied with meditation, the apprentice didn't want to wake her with any sudden movements.
So he waited. All those hours whilst she slept, he fell into a meditative exercise to keep up with his training. He longed for the forge. He longed to get on the way and find out what waited them in the Temple of Lord Draconus.
But for now, he was happy with his woman in his arms. The experience had been truly wonderful. Nothing could have prepared him for the act of loosing his virginity and the pleasures that would come with that act. He wanted her more and more for himself. Was that really wrong? Many thoughts passed through the man's head. Most of them were positive thoughts thanks to the woman in his arms.
"How about you? Did you sleep well?" Liking the kiss, he responded by placing one of his own back upon her lips. "I do enjoy those kisses of yours." He said calmly. Even though he'd only known her briefly...it was enough to know her for a lifetime.
Laughing softly, Eyanie kisses him again, nibbling lightly on Dyne's bottom lip, her fingers finding their way to the back of his neck, scratching lightly with her nails. "I did sleep well. Better than I have in a long time."
Nestling against him, Eyanie ponders to herself. Never would she have tumbled into bed with someone so quickly. Not unless they forced or paid her well to. There was something about this man that from the moment she saw him, she wanted him. Not just for a night, no, she was far from satisfied. Eyanie wanted him forever. Lowering her lashes over hazel eyes, flecked with gold and brown, Eyanie's hand strayed to her flat belly, resting there for a moment. What if we made a child tonight? I hope we made a child tonight. Gods, I want to have his babies, I must be insane.
"I think I've rested enough, I think it's time I got some decent clothing, don't you? And food. I'm starved." Flinging the sheets off her nude form, Eyanie slips off the bed. Her slender feet touch the floor, toes curling as she stretched her lean form in satisfaction.

Warm. The bed was so warm and felt good to the touch. Her scent was all over him, as was the feeling of their sex. A warm pool of liquid touched the bed sheets underneath him. Sitting up in the bed, Dyne looked at her form, admiring her physique. She is hungry. I'll have to get her some more food from earlier, or another meal perhaps. Dyne sat up in the bed for a long moment pondering the situation. "We still have some food from earlier." He said casually.
Sliding out of the bed, he moved to join her by her side.
Dyne was nude as well, his bare feet touching the cool floor. Looking at her body for a moment, he admired the perfectly built curves and musculature of her person. A smile touched his face. He reached for a nearby goblet filled with his favorite drink, handed it to her, and then reached for a second goblet. He filled it with the same substance, drinking casually from its contents to regain some of his lost energy. The berry-berry fruit juice was a favored concoction from his youth. It was quite popular with young folk who were still much too under aged for ale.
Dyne drank it because he hated ale. He was a stalwart drinker of juices and cola. Dyne took a sip of the juice and sat down on the bed. "Food is out in the living area. We can get it shortly. I want to sit here talking with you for a bit longer. I don't want to spoil the perfect moment. I've dreamed of this for a long time now."
Dyne admitted. He was trying to reveal his feelings to her. He was a stalwart lad who was very brave and very honest. Dyne waited for her reply. If she was really much too hungry, they could go get the food in a heartbeat. But for now, Dyne wanted her companionship.
Eyanie looked over her shoulder, hearing the shifting of sheets and the creak of the mattress. A small, suddenly shy smile touched the corners of her generous mouth. Strangely the mention of food didn't have her stomach rumbling despite her claim of starvation. As Dyne moved closer, the heat of his body enveloped the woman, making the urge to lean into him almost irresistible. It was too much trouble to resist so she took the offered goblet and sipped the sweet juice.
"No, I can eat later," raising the goblet she returned his smile," I think this will do just fine. I feel much better already." Returning to the bed, Eyanie settles on the edge. If he wasn't worried about being naked, neither would she be. Of course, her eyes darted towards the door, expecting at any moment that someone would come barging in.
"Actually, I wanted to talk more about what was going on earlier. The map and the temple. Tell me more about it. I am facinated really and I'd like to know more."
