It had been a long time since the monk had been outside of the Citadel. Anything he could have wanted was found within, after all. It was strange to come to the bustling Bazaar, filled with people who were shouting and haggling, paying no mind to his bowed bald head and brown robes. To avoid being trampled beneath the feet of the masses, he slipped quickly to the shop he'd been looking for. It was both an outfitter and a stable, everything he needed rolled into one.

He bowed at the door with respect and then came to thecounter. "I am most humbly in need of a horse and two thick winter coats. Fur lined would be for the best, with a wool outing. It would be most beneficial if the horse could take long travel, perhaps not all the way to Salvar, but at least to take myself and a petite accompaniment along into Northern Raiera or Alerar."

I looked over the tall man in brown apprentice robes and pegged him as an Ai'brone within a second. The fact that he actually bowed at the door just sealed the first impression. I turned my attention to the small woman next to him and my interest peaked. Petite and secretive looking I wondered what she was doing with an Ai'brone.

Hell, I wondered what an Ai'brone was doing outside of the temple. It was rare to see them anywhere up the temple and trying to coax one out was harder than hunting down a pack of Wyrms alone and without weapons.

"Good day." I replied, politely. Mimicking the bow the Monk had given; absently I tossed the short strands of black and red hair out of my eyes and wished, not for the first time, that I hadn't chopped my hair short.

"Wool and fur coats are 50 gold a piece. Depending on breeding and how sturdy of a horse you want they range from 100 gold up to 900 gold. Of course if it's only a pack animal you wish to have I do have one donkey. I must warn you that's it's a, bothersome creature." I smiled at the monk and resisted the urge to tell the man that the jackass was a jackass.

He laid his gold, all two hundred pieces, out on the counter.

"Our journey will be long, and a bothersome creature may but help us if it is also sturdy."

He reached out, touching the top of her hand for a moment before he returned her smile.

"Blessings be from Guan-Yu to those who aides his servants."

I swept the gold to the side with out counting it as I normally would have. I thought it would have been extremely rude to do so and look as if I had no trust in the battle monk. Hurrying I picked up two coats that I thought would fit the monk and his companion and laid them on the counter.

"I'll have once of the boys bring the donkey around front." I called as I vanished into the back room and pulled the two young boys from their game.

"Gorv, Kale, I need you take the donkey around to the front of the building, as man in brown robes will be waiting. If he needs any assistance help him out them return to the store directly."
