View Full Version : I need somebody...

...to kill me. Or kill Blank anyway. This character's in major need of forward motion/retconning.
I've had this tendency in the past (if anyone wants to look up my past posts) of spreading myself thin (*veterans laugh*) or at least, thinner then I should. As such, I've gotten piled up on quests, get overworked, and disappear for a while.
This shall happen no more! I've got myself on a leash even I'm angry with and will take no more than two active quests/battles.
But in order to put said action into, well, action. I need a fellow active (1-3 days) poster. My primary choice has apparently disappeared for reasons I am not privy to.
As such, I am looking for someone to kill Blank in the Citadel. Don't question the whole "you can't die in the citadel" thing. Blank's gonna die. For ". . . .whoever loses his life. . . .will find it."
I'm gonna reuse the opening in "A Barren Wasteland?" fight with some tweaking as needed (specifically battlefield). Rayner's silence has, sadly, made me pretend this battle didn't happen, and as such will be starting a new battle.
So, for those who just went through my somewhat frenzied (and unchecked) prose, do I have any takers?

I would love to use Izvilvin for this. Is there any way for you to abandon the Citadel idea, or perhaps provide a reason as to why Blank would need to be killed?
EDIT: Of course, Luc would be a lot more flexible to use. And you wouldn't need to change any of your plans.

I'll kill you if you'd like me to.

More reason for ret-conning. Blank and Izvilzin have met in an unfinished quest. *sigh* Darn my own lazy, treacherous, ways. Unless you want to do something different, we'll just pretend Church Intrigue (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=1021) didn't happen.
Outside of the citadel would actually work better if we could come up with a reason. Basically, Blank needs to be killed in order to trigger something that will begin his next quest.
Actually, if the three of us want to come up with some quest which ends with Blank dead, it would also work. Sadly I don't have any bounties on my head. I'm heading to bed right now, but let me think on this, and get back to you all in the morning. Feel free to post/pm ideas, and we can mull over them.

Well, Iz won't kill you unless you really, really deserve it. Luc, however, will kill you if you get him muddy or something. Present us with something you're comfortable with, and we can go from there. It's your story, not mine!

Homunculus will eat you. Take that how you will.
Also, a good way of not reviving is not fighting in The Citadel.
So if you want me, I'm very active (0-36hrs) and Homunculus doesn't need any excuse to kill people. Plus, it'll be freaky as hell and probably gross.

Poison will kill him, she is an assassin afterall...

Hmm, I'm thinking I'm going to get a bounty put on my head by some local crime lord. Not sure what, but I'm interested in sort of writing this in reverse. Everything starts with Blank being in trouble, and as people get closer to killing him, more is revealed as to why this crime lord wants him dead.
Already getting ideas...
Alright, I'll have a opening post done tonight (tomorrow at latest, Monday's are my killer days). If you all think you can deal with a five person quest/manhunt, then you're all welcome to join. If not, feel free to back down, it won't hurt our feelings. If people want to team up and/or try to take down others on the way, feel free to do so as well.
Cyrus, not sure if this will work with Iz, but I'll let you decide how you want to do it. You may want to wait for my post to decide.

In the interest of not having some strange continuity issues with Homunculus, I'll back down.
That, and I remember the last quest I was in that had a lot of people... Posting orders, cop outs, and the like.

Nah, go ahead. Homun isn't much of a bounty hunter.

If more than one of us is going after Blank, I would prefer to use Madyrn (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=5240&highlight=madyrn), who is very good for these types of threads. Also, the lower level will make it less like 'the Luc show' and more of a team thread.

I thought it might be a little inconsiderate on my part, haha. It's like I completely forgot I had an assassin, here.

Alright, I'm not flaking. I promise. I've already got an opening planned out in my head, but just haven't had time to write. School's getting killer this week, but I should be free by Thursday. Due to health issues, I don't have the luxury of just staying up and writing, and my free time is being taken up with keeping up with work.
Trust me, I will get to this.
Also, if anyone wants to start thinking of an opening, we're starting in a smallish city in Corone, Orkon, which is a hot spot for the seedier side. It's relatively well off, but due to the fact that crime lords really run things with their puppets, it hasn't been allowed to really flourish.
Blank's had a hit put out on him in the last forty-eight hours. It's quiet, with the normal people really having no idea their's a manhunt going on. It's the head-boss's hit though, so spies are everywhere, and running out of the walls, guarded with folk specifically watching for Blank, isn't really an option.
That's where we are, I'll have more specifics in my post. Thank you for your patience.
