Name: Leon Tobias Malstrife
Age: 22
Race: Human
Hair: White
Eyes: Blue
Height: 5'10
Weight: 180
Occupation: Wanderer
Allignment: Good
Personality: A kind-hearted but quiet individual. Tries to avoid being the center of attention to the many towns he travels to. Also avoids attachments, so not to be tempted to stay in one place for too long.
Appearance: Medium build. Shrouded in a modern brown travelers cloak, shading the features of his white hair, pale skin, and a scar in the form of an 'X' on his face. Underneath the cloak lies a thin chain mail, that he had recieved during his first years at the Holy Order. The emblems that once resided on the mail, now etched off. His pant leggings consist of black-woven leather. His boots are leather as well, but are steel-tipped at the end.
History: Once a member of the 'Holy Order of the Light,' he was pampered to be the next 'Paladin' to the Cardinal, as his father was before him. Although, to the dismay of his teachers, his spoiled attitude got in the way. He knew very little of the scriptures, and was a novice in the ways of battle.
It was by the time of his fathers demise, however, that forced him to take his teachings seriously.
As he reached the end of his 'novice' trials, war began to spread through the land that the Holy Order had resided in due to religious differances of another country. Finally, the war had reached within the walls of the Order itself.
Malstrife was one of the Low-Templars assigned to protect the corridors of the Cardinal. It was the following turn of events, that caused him to leave.
The Low-Templars (save himself) were wiped out. The Cardinal was assassinated. It was then, Malstrife was brought into the courts, where they were to determine if he was to die or not for failing to do his duties.
It was because his father was once a great 'Paladin,' they decided to spare the boy, but placing him into exile. It was before this, however, they bestowed the 'Mark of the Unworthy' onto him. Thus, plaguing him with his pale skin, white hair, and the 'X' scar, to let whomever saw him know of his failure.
Skills: Uneven Bursts- In desperate times, when a Templar is faced with several imposing foes it is this technique that will even the tide of battle. From the spirit of its caster, comes a pulse of power that rips through the foes, knocking them back 2 feet, dazing them. Cost: 5% health. With every level obtained, the distance is increased by .5 feet, the health cost increasing by .20%
Mark of the Righteous- A skill taught to him by his father, it takes the spirit of the caster to turn his weapon of choice into that of a 'Holy' one, increasing its damage by 5% for 5 charges or you can unleash its power (depending on how many charges left) for 15% (5=15%, 4=12%, 3=9%, 2=6%, 1=3%) damage. Cost: 20% health. Every 10 levels the damage increase goes up 5%, unleashed damage up by 5% as well.
Equipment: Wields his iron-sword he recieved from the Holy Order, he calls it his 'Burden' that he carries. Wears his chain mail that he recieved from the Order, with its emblems etched out, marking his shame. Leather-woven leggins, steel-tipped leather boots.
