Personality: Honestly, you don't expect a real person to be able to accurately describe his own personality, do you?
Appearance: I'm not a great looking guy, to be sure. I have shit brown hair, similarly colored eyes, and a light tan on my arms. I'm a little stronger than my frame would suggest, and a little quicker. I've got a bit of a gut, and my glasses are always slightly cockeyed where they sit on uneven ears. I can usually be seen in faded athletic-fit t-shirts and jeans.
History: I was born nineteen and a half years ago in a hospital in Richmond, Virginia. My life hasn't really been all that exciting, now that I think of it. I played soccer and rollerskated as a kid. Took Tae Kwon Do classes for about ten years. Got above average grades, when I put my mind to it and did my work. Very few things are of note. They will be listed here, as I come up with them.
I took two years of nursing school, and have since graduated and earned my license as an LPN. However, I'm still working at a pile of shit grocery store called Food Lion, doing a job I hate, and earning a meager sum every other week.
I have attended a year and a half of college at VCU, though I've recently been kicked out (they called it "suspended") for my poor academic performance.
I have a child with a girl two years younger than me. My daughter is sweet and beautiful. Her mother hates me. I give money to her monthly, not out of a court order, but because I want to help and do what's right. I love my daughter, Kaleigh. I would do anything for her.
I am in a relationship with a fellow Althanian, the Manda, who lives halfway across the country, in Oklahoma. She has way too many characters, but I love her anyway.
And here I am now, typing this up. Once I finish, I'll post the profile and see what happens. Who knows? I might actually fall into the world we all know as Althanas, existing in the real world and in that world of magic simultaneously.

Tae Kwon Do- Matthew is a capable fighter, being above average with his fists and feet. He has gone through a decade of martial arts training, having attained the rank of second degree black belt, but hasn't done anything with it for the past few years.
Weapons Training- Matthew has a little experience with swords, staves, and knives. He is average at best with them.
Special:
Liquid Time Abuse- As a result of his nature as a real-world human being, Matthew can abuse liquid time beyond the norm. He can take part in a thread that takes place chronologically before another that he is or has been in and have knowledge pertaining to that thread, for example. If this affects other players, it will be with their permission.
Character Control- Being the writer for several characters, Matthew can control each of them (with their player's permission, which is obviously always granted) and impress his Will upon them. Of course, this is unreliable at best, and the characters do not appreciate this method of coercion. As of the submission of the profile, this affects Caduceus Grimaldi, Leon Adalbert, Amatullah Fadiyah, Hreark Lorespinner, Rhonwen Bel, Zel Donovan, and a dwarf by the name of Aurt.
Tone It Down! (locked)- Having permissions in the Realm of Greeting of Althanas' electronic interface, Matthew can attempt to weaken individual abilities of other characters, with their players' permission. When this fails, however, he may fly into a fit of frustration. This lasts for as long as the other player allows, and weakens the abilities as much or as little as the other player sees fit. As a side note, Matthew can, by looking at a character, tell basically what they are capable of (with player's permission).
Althanian Lore- Matthew knows who everyone is. EVERYONE. Unless they're disguising their identities, or somesuch. He also knows what has happened in finished threads that his real-world counterpart has read.
