I'm in a lot of threads, but keeping up with them isn't much of a problem right now. Some are wrapping up, and I want to keep busy. I have four characters, give them a look over and if an idea pops in your head, let's do it.

Luc (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?p=92445#post92445) kills and rapes for fun, is flashy with his power and likes to read ancient texts/spells/history. He's the most flexible in terms of where he can quest.

Izvilvin (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?p=100619#post100619) is my little Drow who has now returned to living life anonymously, so he wears a mask and doesn't go out in the open much. He's generally a good guy but will steal and kill if he feels the need. He absolutely can not quest in Scara Brae, Corone, Alerar or Raiaera.

Madyrn (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?p=65330#post65330) is a manipulative thief, killer and practitioner of Song Magic. He'll do pretty much anything if he'll get something worthwhile out of it. Likes to rape and kill! He definitely can't quest in Alerar.

Alvakar (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=4876) is my least flexible character. He's married with a kid and can't quest anywhere outside of Alerar. He doesn't steal or anything and is honestly a very boring person.

Soooooooooo any takers? I'd like to do some quick quests for fun and experience points and gold and joy!

Are you at all interested in that FQ storyline? It's still available if you're interested.

Ranger

I'm interested for the hell of it... Ranger can do something with the FQ, like protecting the temple of the Thayne in the desert. Or whatever else you might have in mind.

I also have Dirge: A completely strange sorcerer that's open to almost anywhere, so long as there is something to gain from it. No fear of killing, what people think of him, or trying for something much larger than his abilities allow (though his ego says otherwise).

Eyes Of... : A budding technomancer, mercenary, chaotic neutral and can do whatever.

Osato, Garwocket... doesn't matter to me. Though I'd prefer to use Ranger of Dirge.

Madison: I obviously love the idea, but there's some stuff I want to do with Luc before that, things that might take a while. I feel like it would be a poor decision to throw such a big storyline on top of what I'm doing now, since I won't be able to dedicate Luc's future to that. Would it be cool to do it sometime in the future? Also, I'm still going to be participating in round 2 a lot.

Ranger: Do you have any current storylines I can help out with using one of my characters, maybe?

Despite being a bit bogged down, I can't pass up opportunities when I see them. (Which might be why I'm bogged down)

I think it's time that Alvakar met Crystal. I'm still trying to think up a plot, but I think that my hyperactive fairy can be entertaining enough for the both of us.

What you say?

As long as it can happen in Alerar, I'm up for it. He's not the type to entertain fairies, though!

Don't worry. She can entertain herself. :p

I do know what you mean, though, and I think that might even make the story better.

I'll be right back. I'm gonna go find inspiration for a quest idea.

Hey Cy, how's about we start that Followup for Into and out of Hiding?

-

With the ebb of winter’s chill came the tides of spring, washing away that great white mantle that had stretched across the countryside, not so long ago. Little was left behind by those warm and thawing breaths but snowy tufts, strewn across the soil and budding grass like chaff in a field of fallen clouds. There was still that nip and sting to every steamy breath, still that slight flush of the cheeks with every picking wind, but all felt in their hearts that the season’s brunt had passed at last.

Alas, many more would have enjoyed the unexpected return of sunlit skies and blue horizons, had the harshness of the cold been their only worry. Food remained scarce for the citizens of Corone, wrenched from their withered hands to fuel a war that had only weakened their country as a whole. Seeing this early break in winter’s dominion had given fleeting hope for farmers and their future harvests, but even with that, they would see no immediate change to the famine that had stricken the whole of their nation. In the end, the only difference was that they were now starving in the comfort of the sun, which in itself was no real comfort after all.

Those months of helplessness and stagnation, however, had done nothing to douse the violence and outrage in their hearts. Lillian had seen it all too well, traveling down the beaten paths from the city’s thoroughfare to the Turner Manor, far atop the Grey Rise near the coast. At first, the street rabble stood shivering in the cold, rapacious eyes trained to the owner of the Turner Slaughter Yards and her new, adolescent attendant. As the times grew frisker and their meals more meager, however, they had become openly hostile, barring their ways as intimidation tactics, insulting them, even threatening them at times.
But today, the irked citizens of Radasanth had decided to stone these two defenseless women.

“Stop hoggin’ our meat, you selfish whore!” That was the only warning given before a hefty rock came hurtling their way. Frail Abagail turned away with a yelp of fear as the projectile clattered on the ruined brick wall to her right, chipping at the impact. The young attendant spun to the amassing crowd, seeing that three more had armed themselves with stones that had broken off from the curbs, steadying their aim in hopes that this time, they would strike true. “If Old man Turner was still alive, he’d never have let this happen!”

“Damned gold-digger killed the poor guy in his sleep!” one shouted as he tossed his rock.

“Slit his throat and bled him like his own cattle!” cried another, doing the same. “She’s the Butcher, after all!”

The worn woman ducked, hefting her leather briefcase over her head as her only defense. The attendant dashed in between the diving stones and her mistress, letting the first shatter across her shoulder, and the second break against her jaw. The crowd of onlookers froze, as if realizing for a fleeting moment that they had committed something heinous. Blood was drawn where stone had collided, the skin peeling red and raw from her pallid skin, but the girl did not topple, did not falter. She only stared on, unhurriedly wiping the scarlet trail from her mouth. Stared on with eyes as red as the very blood she was losing.

Another chunk from the curbstone flew, this one hurled by a frightened hand. At that, the attendant’s stance stiffened, and they could see her fist beginning a downward arc. Before they could see anything else, they felt the wind whisk, the ground quake, and a deep reverberation boom from the wall behind them. The brick structure had slightly caved in, with a piece of foreign rock encrusted deep within.

In the ensuing silence, the attendant gently spoke to her mistress, taking her hand and bringing her to a stand. After a bit if industrious dusting of their city garments, removing any stony chip from the crimps and folds, they left without a fuss. None dared to speak, for they had seen the peeled skin on the girl’s knuckle, and the fresh blood dripping from the exposed bones.

“You didn’t have to hurt yourself, Lillian,” Abagail whispered when they had left the outskirts of Radasanth. There was peace here, a certain measure of quiet in the tall trees that lined the distance, in their still white crests and the briskness of the air. The landscape was one of the reasons she never rode into the city with a carriage, but it was also not a long way from the manor, and she needed to keep fit for the harsh times that lay ahead.

Adjusting her cloche hat, she looked to her side, where walked the young girl she had first met last year, late in October. A mysterious little thing indeed, appearing in the middle of her slaughter yards, as if by a summons. Abagail had chosen to give her shelter until she could regain her bearings, a time during which she had learned of her great scholarly mind, her knack for crunching numbers and the unusual powers hidden away in that frail little body. Still, she knew that even without those talents, she would have kept the girl at her side, having grown to care for her almost like a daughter.

“I’m quite alright, madame; worse has happened to me,” Lillian said with that ever cheerful smile. In those months she had learned to know the teenager, however, she had seen through it all. This girl would smile even when her heart had nothing to smile about. “It was my idea to accompany you to the city while you dealt with the Labor Parties, after all. It’s readily obvious I was right to worry.”

“But we must understand their anger: the slaughter yards do still house enough to feed hundreds,” Abagail began, her tone dispirited.

“If we were to give out everything, they might be satisfied for a week at most, but they would then have nothing left to survive the months to come.” Lillian

Well my only character is Limrén, but he is currently open for quests... And to my knowledge aloud in most places seeing how you approved me inform me otherwise if I am wrong though... But it would be awesome to get a quest of journey going with one of your characters who is evil, or somewhat nuetral... I can easily think of good storylines so just drop a line if this sounds alright

Yes, you can roleplay anywhere you want now that you're approved. Check out my characters and let's do a quest!
