Name: Lennara

Age: 191 human years (but I look 17)

Sex: I got an A, but I am an F

Race: ½ water nymph, ¼ wood-elf, ¼ human

Home: Concordia Forest near Underwood, Corone

Appearance:
In general, I have a pleasing appearance. I am 5’7” and have the slender build of an athlete. My hair extends to the bottom of my waist in the front, while the back is kept short and off of my neck (truly: out of the way of my swords). My eyes are emerald green, although when working my water magic the blue specks throughout the iris glow.
While dealing with water my hair is a slightly glowing silvered white and my lace like finger webbing appears. Whenever I am submerged and have need of them my gills open.
While grounded I have pitch black hair and the webbing and gills retract so as to be invisible.

Personality:
Quirky. I can often be playful but sometimes my intelligence makes my jokes come off as insults. Often I am though of as stuck up for trying to get a feel of a place. I am loyal to my friends. Because of my upbringing, I am a serious and grounded person with discipline.

History:
My mother was a High Priestess to the Water Spirits. She was a very powerful water nymph. Upon meeting my father, a half wood-elf / half human ranger, she sought her shrines permission to marry him; when they refused the request she left.
It was not too long before I came along. Since we had to live in relative seclusion (my mother’s shrine did not like losing their High Priestess) I was often lonely. One day my father and mother found me watering the plants. The thing is that I was drawing the water from a nearby stream and the plant had not been there that morning.
They sat me down and asked me what I had thought were random questions. Had someone passed through the woods that day? How long does it take a seed to grow into a flower? Where was the closest river?
They recognized that I had some of both my mother and my father’s skills: his excellent hearing and minor earth magic, and her water magic. Because of the mixed inheritance I was given a rigorous schooling schedule where I studied the uses of both magics for healing and defense, and meditation.
When I was eight, my father insisted that I begin to train with a weapon. He took me to a place that he knew of in Underwood and there we found a unique scimitar that was perfect for me. We returned to our home and I began my training. Within three years I had mastered it.
As a birthday present that year, my father took me back to Underwood. While there we saw some animal traders. That was where I got Anukis. When we were passing I noticed that the water bowl in the tiger cub’s cage had been overturned. I refilled the bowl and she immediately batted it over again and splashed in the water. I looked for my father only to see him already negotiating for her.
I continued all of my training with my parents until at twenty-five there was nothing left for them to teach me. For fifty one years I wondered from town to town, school to school, and master to master with Anukis learning as much as I could. Eventually, I wanted a change of pace and decided to wonder from library to library and study books instead. I read everything I could find for one hundred years.
Then, fifteen years ago, my mother and father were killed by her old shrine. They had heard that she had passed on the shrine’s secrets to me and the punishment was death. They killed my father for trying to protect her. Since then, I have returned to my studies of magic and swordsmanship with the hopes of avenging them. It will take quite a while though, because I have fallen out of practice and forgotten much of what they taught me. For now, all I can do is stay ahead of the Shrine and practice the little that I do remember until I return to my former abilities.

Skills:
Some earth magic and more water magic: I am trained in healing and defense for both. My current extents with water are: channeling water from some source to heal cuts, burns, or wounds and channeling water from some source to use as a manuverable weapon. My limitations of earth magic are that I can: speed up the growth of a plant and moving a chunk of earth the size of my head. Of course, this is not all that I can do. Once, I was very powerful but I have lost much of it because of my lack of study. Unfortunately, it is not as easy as riding a bike.
Extra sensitive hearing: I can hear things from far away; loud noise nearby does not bother me. I have been told that I can develop it further with practice but right now I can only hear things about 1.5 times as well as a human.
Swordsmanship: I have been trained in and mastered the use of my scimitar. Unfortunately, I have forgotten most of what I once knew so I am currently just above average abilities.

Weapons:
I have a unique scimitar, which has a blade that splits into two separate weapons. Sheathed, it does not look like much, but when the blade is exposed the value of the sword is apparent.
The blade is always honed and has a slightly blue tint to the steel.
With close examination green, red, and gold stripes can be seen throughout the metal, testifying to the magic in the blade, keeping it sharp, unstained, unrusted, and preventing it from shattering.

Familiar:
Since I turned 12, my best friend and constant companion has been Anukis. She is a tiger cub who has been enchanted to grow and mature as I do. She is unable to be poisoned and has great perception. Like all cats, she can sense danger. She loves the water.

Okay, I need you to list a couple of spells under magic, and I'd like to know what the magics on the sword do. I'd also like you to specify that it is steel strength or weaker.

(PS, since you're editing, can you space things out so that I can tell where one thing stops and another begins?)

Well, I didn't mean to post the profile again...I'll move the edited version to the first post so that everyone can find it easily.

You are Approved! Welcome (finally) to Althanas.
