I have read many threads by many people, and have often wondered, 'Why haven't they written a novel?' There are so many members on here that I think, if they put their mind to it, they could write a best-selling novel. So my question is this: Which Althanians' novel would you read, if they wrote one?

My answer: Letho, Cyrus, Slayer, Storm Veritas, Ataraxis

If Godhand wrote a novella entitled "My Fiesta Name is Pendejo," I would buy it and read it.

I would read a novel by Ataraxis, Storm, possibly Letho, and possibly Zook and definitely Caden Law.

Other than that, I really don't know too many people here.

I might put out a book of short stories, but I wouldn't have the drive to do a whole novel.

If I ever wrote a book, it'd be in IM format.

I would definitely read a Caden book. Especially if it's anything like Caden RPing.

I would also read works by Letho or Sighter, should such works ever be created.

I have several book ideas that are floating around my head and one in particular that I've been working on and reworking the ideas of for years. It started out as a short story that I still have and will hopefully start turning into the novel version soon.

As for reading people's novels here...

Sighter, Letho, Ataraxis, Storm, Skie and Avery (only if she wrote graphic, erotic novels) and Godhand. I think Godhand would do good writing a whole gangster, mafia kind of novel. His writing is harsh and would suit that kind of genre well.

A Letho book sounds very interesting. Godhand would probably have one where critics call him the next Bukowski, so that too. I agree that a Caden Book would be amazing, there aren't enough books like terry Pratchett does out there.

I'd definitely read the Evil Muffin of Doom book. Self-explanative.

If ya'll remember Ithermoss, I think he'd be the writer of the next Saw, only in novel form. Either that or the screenwriter for a movie about Juggernaut...either way...

Also, whoever played as Izvilvin, and Rheawien, too. Body withered, body died... (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=1734&page=4) was a great quest.

I actually just asked someone the other day why no one's ever tried to make an Althanas Collections book, or ebook.

I've had it in the back of my head to write a few books based around the world of Althanas, but it would be a long list of people I'd have to get signatures from with permissions in order to use characters and regions and names.

For a moment I read this as "The act on eggos (http://www.wikihow.com/images/8/80/Eggo-waffles.jpg) is just as apparent" and I thought you were making some sort of brilliant non-sequitur. Imagine my dissapointment to realize it was just a snarky post.

That would be the best book ever. I'd read it.

I read a few chapters of a book that Christoph started writing a while back that he never finished because he's a rotten punk.

I would definitely read a Godhand or Manda book, though.

Godhand would rock the detective noir genre, while I could imagine that Manda would be really good with dark, twisted, old-school minded fairy tales.

I'd read a book from every Althanas member if he/she got published. I'd even buy a paperback, if for no other reason, then as a sign of support for one of the people from the community I love. However, I'd buy a hardcover (something I seldom do) from a handful of people. Manda, Godhand, Slayer of the Rot, Shyam, Sighter, Storm Veritas are the names that come to mind, but singling out anyone is pretty unfair. I think that, if somebody from Althanas got published (and the book isn't some law bullshit that Serilliant or Max could write, or the sociology or history mumbo-jumbo Sighter or LordLeopold might get published), it would be great for promoting Althanas. So, come on people, let's get published!
