I was just wondering if anyone could clarify the "10 posts or 10,000 words" rule for solo quests. I understand the 10,000 word part, but what does 10 posts mean? Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!

It means that you have to have 10 posts in your quest, minimum to get the regular amount of EXP according to the formula. If you have less, you get less EXP.

So do I post my quest as one long 10,000 word post? Or should I break it up into ten 1,000 word posts?

We prefer meaty posts if you're only going to have 10, as well, so that there's a complete story.

Also, I love your user name.

EDIT: Break it up into workable sections.

Do I need 10,000 words and at least 10 posts? I have a 2500 word quest in the works right now... it'll probably be around 4000-5000 by the time I reach where I wanted to end. I was planning on breaking that up into the 10 post requirement, but does that meet the criteria?

P.S. Sorry to be so dense here, I just don't really understand. Thanks for all the help!

If you have four posts that are 2500 words apiece, then that counts. If you have 10 posts that are 400-500 posts apiece, that counts, too.

Ah I see now... thank you very much! I will add some more content to my solo idea and post it sometime soon.
