Appearance
-Since he is always changing in appearance he has forgotten what he originally looked like, but he does have a preferred body he likes to use. In this form he has dark green eyes and dirty blonde hair, an attractive face with pale skin and glistening teeth, and he is usually shorter than six feet and very slim. His favored clothes are typically regal and bright colors, often he’ll wear an open trench coat that trails behind him with a fluffed collar.
Personality
-Mattius is complicated in his desires. He desires most of all to be powerful, to have sway over other people and to be able to control them. Towards this end he will do a great many things. On the other hand, he likes to think of himself as pure and untarnished, that he has done no wrong. He holds the many virtues and honors in high regard and attempts to follow them, but he abandons them entirely when he can gain in power.

-Silver Tongue: Mattius has learned to charm people and is almost always extremely charismatic. He is especially skilled around dull townsfolk and wins trust easily.
-Intelligence: Mattius is extremely smart and he has near photographic memory, allowing him to recall minute details easily. Because of this he is also able to speak all of the common languages on Althanas, he also quickly learns new languages that he encounters and will be able to speak them fluently within hours.

- Mattius’s strength and speed are dependent on his body type that he is currently using, a thin sickly man he would very weak and about average in speed, using a thick warrior build would make him stronger but also slower and less balanced. In most forms he’s able to move relatively quickly but nothing extreme.
Racial Traits
-Body Molding: Mattius can change the shape and color of his body any way that he wants, and can make himself look like anyone. Although he can change his clothes to look like anything, such as armor, the clothing is still only as strong as cloth or whatever material he actually has on. The process of changing takes as long as thirty seconds, and it looks as though his body is blurring suddenly. Mattius cannot become lighter than 100 pounds or heavier than 250 pounds, nor can he become shorter than 4 1/2 feet or taller than 6 1/2 feet. He must also retain a humanoid shape, in any shape he will only be strong enough to lift 200 pounds at the most.

History
- Mattius is of a race of unknown origin. From birth he inherited all of the abilities that his father had and none that his mother had. He bears no resemblance to his mother at all, hardly even in personality.
His mother was an elven, she lived decently in Eluriand working as an assistant to the High Bards, performing management type duties, covering all the daily goings on. One day she met an elven man one day, one of the most exquisitely charming she had ever come across and he held a strange interest in her. She wasn’t the most beautiful elf, but she wasn’t ugly either, and she could tell by the look of him that he was of a higher social strata. Nonetheless, he seemed to be interested in her romantically, and they wed after a very short time. Soon after she became pregnant and he disappeared. Try as she might she was unable to find him, or find anyone else having seen anyone looking even vaguely familiar to him. It was as though he never existed.
Mattius was born shortly after to her, a child that didn’t look to be hers at all, it didn’t even appear elven. The discovery of his abilities came as a surprise, limiting her ability to keep track of him and making her almost completely unable to take care of him. The realization that she had been used by, by some being, to have offspring made her depressed and she became detached from him.
Mattius basically grew up on his own, using his abilities to fit in, living all around Eluriand at his discretion. It made him independent, and taught him valuable lessons about life. Although he initially despised his powers because he was different, Mattius grew to appreciate them as they became useful during his late teens. He quickly learned that there were many opportunities for someone with his gifts. He could get anywhere in the city, slip past guards, do just about anything. This made crime syndicates extremely interested in him. Although he found the crime distasteful, there was something he did like. Power.
Crime could only get you so much power, and he needed more. He wouldn’t settle just for being the king pin in a single syndicate, he had much greater plans. The kind of plans he had were so grand in scope that many would have said they were childish fantasies, he was going to be a king. He would rule people not just through the fear that syndicates used, he would utterly dominate them with his will. To do this, he would need support, he would need to build a base, and he needed followers.
