Weapon: The Carnage blade, or Broadsword Lakin uses has a Koru-spiral design representing courage; engraved in white on its hilt. The two edged blade which is about 2 – 3 inches wide at the base is made of steel. The razor-sharp edges taper to a point and the length of the weapon is approximately 90 centimeters long, weighing in at a mere 3 kilos. Truly, it is suited to a woman of her slenderness. To accompany the medieval style weapon above she has chosen a custom made short sword, known as Defiance. It is small and light-weight which allows short piercing strikes, and is often used as a protective tool against larger, slow wielding weapons.
Ability: Lakin has a sixth sense ability which is much stronger in forest or wilderness settings. Mind communication is possible, but Lakin has not completely mastered this skill. She is still developing her ability through deep meditation and psychic discipline. Her elemental magic is basic; she can draw in small baskets of air to her hands and project the energy toward a visual target. She can manipulate already blazing fire for short spaces of time; but only with intense concentration and repeated incantation. Earth and water spells are beyond her capability yet but she believes that through vigorous training and methodic study her mystic capabilities will grow more powerful.
Personality: She is a reserved, thoughtful person, curious at times but always cautiously aware of her surroundings and situation. Lakin is a strict advocate of the DpN Code, and believes that the lore governing her clan strengthens and enhances her character.
History: Her clan has a long, rich heritage with many great alliances and successful friendships. The Dead Pool Network is a tolerant collective; content to thrive and prosper peacefully. Sadly this independence attracts the unwanted advances of barbaric factions, envious blood thirsty war mongers who exist solely on the ruin and total destruction of others. Many wars have been undertaken against her people, thankfully fought and won gallantly.
Her own history is limited in comparison; she has no family to speak of, but has found her true calling as a diplomat and member of DpN. Many of her own memories have been purposely suppressed to make living bearable.
