Height: 5’7”
Weight: 120 lbs
Occupation: Clairvoyant-Assassin

Personality
Despite her childhood, Yin has maintained a very kind and loving in nature, she will buy a person shoes and a food if they do not have any. She is fairly patient but because of her inexperience in her profession her temper can be very short because of her frustration with it. Yin can be very jealous of people who manage to grab at men she likes before she can, but she gets over it. She’s learned to wait for ‘Mr. Right’ since she never has any luck. Since her job and life is fairly grim she rarely smiles, but she does or if she really needs to laugh something off she does. Yin can be very sociable if she wants to be, but other wise would rather be sitting down and writing in her books.

Appearance

Short – Boy cut black hair, pale green eyes, pale ochre skin , slim-skinny build but with strong arms and legs for cirque du soleil type acrobats. She has two black stripe tattoos on the neck and two on her left upper arm and a white koi fish tattoo on her back for being born on a full moon. She has a long thin face with a high thin and small nose, along with a strong jaw. She has medium single-lid eyes and has the average full lips. She us usually found wearing a sleeveless black turtle neck, underneath a dark grey sleeveless tunic, and loose black pants tucked into a pair of form fitting boots of the same colour. She also is commonly seen wearing a navy-blue cloak, dark grey gloves, and black forearm bands. Yin always carries around a messenger bag with three note books for writing, one is a log of missions and adventures, the second is a journal that she keeps her thoughts in, the third is full of all the supernatural entities she encounters because of her clairvoyant abilities; a pen; and any rations she carries with her.

History

Yin was born in a small village in an obscure part of the world. However she wasn’t with her real family for very long. As an infant up until she was two, Yin was constantly sick, and many of the natural remedies began to fail. Her family made a difficult decision of having to give her up. Even though she was an only child they couldn’t afford for many of the modern medicines that could help her. By sheer luck she had the opportunity of being taken by the rich and vain family Chen who had been passing through the village one day. Because she was so “unique” in eye colour they thought it would be good for them to adopt her.

Of course she did manage to please the family growing up; however their high standards and strict rules never seemed to change how she turned out. The relatives of the family always complained about how simple she looked and how her mannerisms would never get her anywhere. Yin’s adoptive father always took his brothers comments to heart and scolded her whenever she did not look rich enough. It seemed the more they complained the more she was compelled not to change her behaviour. Her adoptive mother on the hand loved her to bits and would defend her whenever the relatives made a comment or if she was yelled at. And for the six years of her life with the Chen family she was the happiest with her adoptive mother.

To keep Yin from discovering where she truly came from her biological parents were killed and their bodies hidden in the forestry. Her adoptive father’s philosophy of keeping where she really came from a secret would actually change her. However he would not see this happening when the blood line she came from in that particular village made her a born clairvoyant. He was horrified with the thought that the child they picked had the capability of seeing ghosts, and could be a problem should he and his wife have any luck in the pregnancy department.

When Yin was eight her adoptive parents took her to Scara Brae where they met an occultist named Wesley who offered to take her under his apprenticeship. Her adoptive mother argued with her husband for days, and one night ‘mysteriously’ disappeared. Yin was then handed over to the Wesley, whom she spent the most part of her life with being taught about the supernatural world, and how to deal with her abilities, but with her luck Wesley had eventually died of old age leaving her training unfinished. When the body collector arrived to pick up his body along came a master in assassination, who with some long and painful convincing took her in. Once again with her luck the man left on a mission, but never returned.

Finding she was trapped between two different professions she’d decided to combine them into an assassin who dealt with the killing of abusers of the occult (dark wizards, witches, warlocks, demons etc) and making sure their spirits and others they have possibly summoned don’t remain. However due to her in experience in both fields she has extreme difficulty dealing with the pressures of the job, and always requires assistance from another assassin or a cleric.

Skills

Swordplay

Yin deals with mostly throwing daggers and a katar attached to her left arm. Her close range is good, her dagger throwing is atrocious if she’s not focusing and will hit an unintentional target.

Magic

Yin has the ability to see ghosts and demons that have no bodily attachment, but a great inability to deal with them alone. She usually is in need of a more experienced cleric, or a priest around.

Other
Physical and Medical
Yin is ambidextrous, but her main hand is her left hand. She can do some cirque du soleil esq acrobats, just not enough to be a professional.

Despite how dangerous her job is, she is a hemopheliac, and is very careful about injuries. She tries to make sure that she is not injured badly enough that it cannot be dealt with by a healer.

Aesculus (Or Fidelis) is out of hiatus with a new character! I'm not sure about the occupation, but that's how I created her initially outside of this site (well in my own written she's called something else but Clairvoyant-Assassin was the best I could come up with since its most familliar to the site). Hope that's okay! And aside from my mixed up rambling in the bio, I hope there's nothing else that might cause any problem.
