Part 1
The sounds of carnal lust filled the room as her body rocked on his. Soon replaced by screams as her fingers dug into his supple skin, crimson flowing and mixing into the white satin as their climax built. It was then that a roar bellowed from her, covering the screams as she orgasmed, the bestial vocals silenced with but loving whimpers and gurgled breaths.
Had she breath, it would be lost with such exertion. But there was only a crimson grin, her skin tacky with his blood as if it were sweat. The vampress felt satisfied for one more night as she lay alone on the now red sheets of a loving bed. Her former entertainment lay drained on the floor like so many before him. Time was always a limit in summer, and even now the moon passed the point of midnight
The water of the bath steamed as she lay in it, her dead skin feeling it only as another feeling. No joy in warmth, no shiver in cold, no frostbite in Salvar. The flames of the many candles around her bounced about her eyes as she sponged her form clean of the beautiful vitae. Nay a spec would remain on her snow white skin after so many nights of experience.
Underwood had suffered since her arrival as the head of Imperial, but never a soul in the town would know who caused it. Only the wolves that would eventually clean the bones of her victims knew of her travesty upon such an unsuspecting village. Not since the great wendigo had torn through the town like a wildfire had such killing been rampant. Soon the town would grow weak, fearful for its own existence, and like so many places, help would come. Experienced help, vampire hunters who would know exactly what was happening.
Tera needed to be rid of this risk, to be rid of any risk of her own survival. Hell would have to wait another era for her, if she would allow her full death even then.
Survival...
She clothed herself and sat silently in the lamplight of her last kills home. The silence that money afforded was sometimes quite welcome. Here she could ponder on why she had been let back, why no one had come after her. Why death had treated her as near and equal.
Her eyes scanned the rather decent library that set in liviol shelves. Till one book caught her silver eyes.
Vampires.
It was a sweet and simple title, bound in fine red leather and as thick as twenty five gold pieces. Curiosity had existed, but nary had she really looked into it till this moment.
The immortal vampire
it began simply.
Is the most dangerous creature of the night to ever exist.
She liked the sound of it already.
Not for their viciousness of killing, nor for their ability to increase their numbers, or even their ability to create thralls and undead ghouls.
Ghouls? She had never known that she had such power of creation.
Their power is exponential and nigh impossible to match by any mortal. Draining the life of their victims and combining it into sheer raw power.
Raw power? She knew she was stronger, but even she had to admit that she was weak in comparison to some.
But because they have patience and all the time in the world to work towards their dark machinations.
Yeah, but what truly was her goal? It was then that she continued through the book, reading as no mortal could. Tales of vampires that came in the night and tormented small villages, of dead relatives rising from the grave to murder their families. So much that mirrored her now, and each ended in a way she didn't like. With the vampire being hunted and killed.
Till there was a single story that caught her interest. A story of a great lord that ruled his land even after death, instilling such fear in his people that none would dare even step outside at night. Survival for over a thousand years as a true master of undeath. Alas he died for a woman, having traveled far from his home for her, a reincarnation of his living love.
His only fault, his end. But either way, no matter the vampire, they are all arrogant. Tera was no different in this regard. She had no hang ups for anyone, there would be no great fall of grace for her. Not with such a plan as this.
