Personality: Sephirion, or Seph as his short name is a very cunning yet quiet type of person, most of the time he would be planning his next evil moves or studying his environments and planning some devious strategy of his own. Cold hearted and merciless, Seph would go to great extend in order to obtain that he seeks, killing countless of innocents is just one of the many evil path he would gladly take for as long as he can obtain more power. True to his nature as an Infernal, Sephirion makes less friends than he does with enemies, always angering others and offending them even when he doesn’t realized it, he speaks his mind at will. Although he came from a race of demons, Sephirion isn’t the one to rush things up and instead always looks upon a more alternative ways or path to solving his problem, while others in his society view patience as weakness, Sephirion instead viewed it as another form of cunningness.
Appearance: A first glance at Sephirion people would think that he’s a normal human being, actually at all glances people would think he’s a normal average human being, but actually is not. Standing 6’2 at height and 140lbs as weight, he is in a normal shape, fit and healthy, although pale in feature. Striking purple hair, shorter at the back and slightly longer at the front complement his cold purple eyes. Sephirion can always be seen wearing his dark cloak with a simple black mantle underneath.
History: Sephirion’s history is a complicated one, it stretches back 2000 years ago in a world far from Althanas. This world is called Ethereal, the homeworld of the dreaded Demonic Legions. The Demonic Legion is an army of demons and other races that has been corrupted by its evil wills, spreading out across the universe trying to consume countless worlds and most of the time they succeed. One of the races that had been integrated into the Legion was the Infernal. Once a proud race of the Celestials, the Infernals were the first of their own race to fell during the Great War and then corrupted. However the war between the Demonic Legions and the Celestials stretching out to many worlds and last for nearly 500 years before the Demonis Legions was finally repelled.
Sephirion Ren is one of the great generals of the Celestial army when he was defeated by the Demonic Legions and later on corrupted by the evil powers. He quickly rises in ranks amongst the Demonic Legions and soon represents the Infernals as their new undisputed Demonlord. However his rise as the new demonlord of the Infernals wasn’t appreciated and there were many who were jealous of his power. The other demonlords was quick to plot for his downfall and it came sooner than anyone had anticipated, for as cunning as Sephirion was, the many demonlords who plotted against him was too much of a force.
At one of the last battle in the Celestial’s homeworld, Sephirion’s forces were charged of defending their positions in that world and were promised reinforcements from other demonlords, but those are only words. As the last battle draws near, none of his allies came to his aid. The battle rages on for 3 days, first from the ground, then to the air and finally to the space. Sephirion’s army was vanquished, unable to hold out against the many champions of Celestials, he was forced to retreat into the deep space.
It wasn’t too long until he arrived upon the world of Althanas, recent world of which the Demonic Legions has failed to conquered, that was the Demon War [CL 3047] [1 DW]. Sephirion found refuge within that world, far from his enemies for there are those of his kind who were banished there for failing to conquer Althanas, most of them were locked away in the region called Haidia. Instead of locking himself with the rest of his failed comrades, Sephirion instead took another path, he would avenge himself one day and destroy all those who would dare betray him that day, and so he hid himself deep within the Black dessert, waiting and bidding his time.
That time has finally come, he has reawakened, and although much of his powers were lost during his long hibernation, his determination for vengeance did not…
Skills: Basically Sephirion still remembers part of his training, he has some average skill in swordplay as that is the only weapon he used to either defend himself or attack. Aside from that Sephirion has a control over a strange element calls the black flame. He's able to manipulate the black flame to his whims enabling him to use it in the most dire situations:-
Blackflame bolt:
The first power of manipulating the black flame is casting a bolt of concussive blackflame towards his enemy, this basic attack is almost similar to those of firebolt except that it uses a different element, the bolt does not do much of a damage, perhaps leaving a small hole on the wall but won't do much in a real fight unless it becomes more powerful that is and since he had most of his powers sealed he could not use it too often, perhaps only a couple of times in one battle(4 at most in one battle before going fatigue) and pushing his powers of manipulating the blackflame to the limit would cause fatigue.
Blackflame sword:
The second power of manipulating the blackflame, allows Sephirion to actually materialize a sword made out of pure blackflame. Although it looks blazing it has no searing property and has no real shape at the first stage it also does no special damage. The blackflame sword does damage like any other normal weapon and unless it’s upgraded it will continue to be that weak.
Equipment:
“The blackcloak”- This tattered black cloak has been imbued with magical enchantments of sturdiness and the abillity to stand the test of time since it is as old as Sephirion, aside that it offers no real defense aside of being a trend for an adventurer like him.
“The Blacksword”- a steel sword both old and rusty, Sephirion didn’t quite remember about the mysterious rusty old sword except that it was once a favourite weapon of his. Though useless now, Sephirion had a feeling that the rusty old blacksword might become useful later on.
