His words did a little to reassure her, but not very much. She was still worried and she knew in the back of her mind she wouldn’t continue to worry about him until he finally returned with all the ingredients in tow or she next saw him. It was just, she liked him, and she didn’t like those she cared about getting hurt. Nodding her heads at his words, the small Fae turned the tome around so he could see the drawing lying within.

A careful and skilled hand had depicted a dragon or sorts, one with rather short legs and a stocky body, who’s scales looked like rocks and who was covered in spikes around the back of its head and tail.

“It’s called the Mireagh and it’s a fierce dragon, Caddy. It lives in the mountains of Neamh, but on the west side, not the east side which is populated with the dragon tamers and their brood. It has the ability to quickly adapt and change its body and its most basic abilities to better assist it with whatever it needs, depending on its surroundings. It’s mean, territorial and has a very bad temper.” The words were solemn and sad, as if she considered this battle already lost and him defeated, which she did. There was no way he could do this by himself and even then it was so dangerous. “You need to kill it and bring me back the heart, the liver, the fire glands in the back of its throat and some scales. I suggest five of them.”

In fact she was rather certain it would be one of her hardest synthesis yet and there was concern over whether or not she could actually accomplish it.

Pulling the tome back towards her, Lasair quietly went back to work as her hand continued to write down the rest of the ingredients before she closed the tome. Instead of just handing over the parchment though, she walked to the other side of the counter and wrapped her arms around Caddy’s waist, holding him tightly and refusing to let him go.

“Please don’t do anything foolish, if you don’t think you can beat him then run away.”

Oooh, that could be fun. My other character might be able to offer some support.

LOL. If only this was D&D... Thea AC of Crystal would be raised because of the size difference making it extremely tough for the dragon to hit her, while the AC of the dragon would be lowered for the same reason making it easy for crystal to hit it. Of course, then again, I'm glad this isn't D&D because almost nothing Crystal has would hurt the dragon much, while if the dragon so much as tapped Crystal, she'd go down. In Althanas, though, even the tiniest creature can make a difference.

Feel free to count me in. I realize this is probably over crystal's head, but She'll survive. Besides, her parents sheltered her from everything, so she doesn't even know what a dragon is, most likely.

(If not Crystal, Edward Judorne is also willing to take this quest.)

Please keep in mind that this dragon's estimated level is about 7. I need at least one more high level person.

Mind me jumping in on this? Kially has always wanted to see a dragon and he'd be a good distraction if nothing else.

Not to mention invisibility and perfect silence being two of his advantages...Even if he probably couldn't muster enough strength to even tickle the thing.

True, but you are only level 1, so if nothing else, Why wouldn't Edward be allowed?

Quite seriously, though, I'd understand completely if Edward and crystal were not allowed.

High level, eh? How high level?

Because he's the one looking for the dragon, Ed. That's pretty much why this thread exists, I imagine!

I'd ask if Dagon could jump in, but he's just 0 now, so good luck!

I'll do it if the price is right.

Edit: Oh shit, I just remembered you're mad at me. Nevermind.

Alright, the party is decided. Me, Tshael, Karuka, and Raelyse. I'll start the thread either while I'm gone to Oklahoma, or when I get back. When I do, I'll post the link here.

I presume this will be the de-facto OOC discussion thread.

I know I promised that I would get a post up, but I've been really distracted lately (drunk). In any case, the other 2 haven't posted yet so it's not really that bad. I will try to have one up by Friday though, latest.

Zooooook, what do you think of Rafael Wrendel? I really like it.

Yeah, that works. I'm interested to see what you come up with for your post.

Didn't want to post an enormous post and this one was quite long as it is. I will finish off Raf and join you guys in my next post.

Karuka

I understand, given the circumstances. Maybe another time?

May I take Karukas place?
