the list was short and written on her arm like a typical person in a hurry. The crafts store was really rather easy to find for a place that seemed to be passed by, well everyone but a small handful.

Mia was actually still short of breath from running from the docks, having left Dheathain on the fastest boat she could afford. Her boots skidded on the tiled floor as she halted at the counter. Leaning heavily on it she stared at the proprietor like it was an emergency.

“Hi...I...need...” she began speaking between heavy breaths as she pulled down her arm warmer to see the badly scribbled list, “ a half a yard of Vlince backed faux white tiger fur, a comprehensive picture book of animals, a good handful of cotton stuffing, and a chunk of raw steel”

The seller looked on a little wide-eyed as Mia stuttered out her demands. She moved around the store like a ghost, pulling stuff, thinking of stuff, and always doing the math in her head. It sounded like Mia was going to make a teddy bear from Haidia, but it wasn't her place to question the use of the items. It was just her place to profit. When the items were gathered, she placed them on the counter, and began to wrap and bag them. The baseball sized heft of steel tore the paper as she wrapped it, and she was careful to keep those jagged edges away from the book.

"It'll be 275 crowns, miss."

As she just began catching her breath she smiled when the proprietor returned.

“Thank you!” she said as she fished the gold from her back pack and placed it in a neat little stack on the counter. It was a little more expensive than she had figured, but that was okay, as this was for something important. Packing up the stuff she exited quickly and began the good run back to the docks.
