(I was level 0 with 1,722 experience points at the time of the crash, according to google caches anyway)

Name: Troy Priam

Race: Human

Gender: Male

Age: 25

Height: 6’0”

Weight:[/B} 180lbs

[B]Hair Color: Dark Brown

Eye Color: Ice Blue

Appearance: A calm looking man, with what seems to be a permanent look of depression on his face. His outfit is a very simple one, dark brown pants, along with a dark brown long sleeve shirt, with a short brown cape that flows behind him as he walks. His hair is somewhat lengthy, but by no means long. His eyes are his only distinguishing feature, as their ice blue color makes it seems as if he has lost all emotion that he once had, and is now a shadow of his former self.

Personality: Quiet and reserved, Troy never talks unless he feels the need. A depressing air seems to surround him, and you can tell as you look at him that something is troubling him greatly, but he refuses to ever talk about it. He’s the type of guy that can move in and out of a scene without ever being noticed.

Weapons: A single steel saber (about 3 feet long, plus the hilt which is about another 6 inches), which is slightly curved to allow for better slashing attacks, while sacrificing its effectiveness with piercing attacks. The sword is well kept, and the metal shines brightly, showing that care and dedication go into the maintaining of this weapon. Troy named it the Disillusioned, after he became disappointed at what he had become.

Armor: A single piece of leather armor, which only covers his chest. Unlike the sword, this armor is not very well kept, and it has multiple scratches and marks in it, suggesting recent use.

Items: None.

Skills:

Sword Skills: Troy is well versed with the sword. It is his favorite weapon, and it is the one he always uses, if he has a choice in the matter. Although his skills are by no means perfect, he’s good enough that he can hold his own in battle. With no shield and very little armor, Troy prefers to deliver one swift strike to finish off his opponent in battle, instead of wearing them down bit by bit.

Shockwave Slash: This attack may be used once per thread, and is similar to an attack that Troy once had used against him. If Troy concentrates hard enough, he may summon up a gray energy wave and send it towards a single foe. The wave travels only about ten feet before disappearing, and can in no way cut a foe. Any person hit by the wave will feel a sudden forceful shove. (I’d give you a link to the quest I completed for this skill…but that’s kind of impossible given the circumstances)

History:

Disillusioned; it means dissatisfaction or disappointment. The word sums up the young ex-knight Troy Priam very well. It’s not that he is a disappointment to others, but that he is a disappointment to himself.

Troy Priam was the son of a well to do merchant in a simple kingdom (if a kingdom could be called simple) called Benzer. Troy lead a simple childhood, with a mom and dad, and a younger sister. It was quite a perfect life, a life that many people would certainly envy. No terrible disasters struck his homeland, burning everything to the ground, and no bandits attacked his village, slaughtering everyone there. No, it was quite a nice life. Like every child, Troy had a dream. His dream (like many boys) was to become a proud knight of Benzer, serving king and country, etcetera. Although Troy was not from a rich family, he never wanted for anything, and was able to attend the Knights Academy (with a little help from his dad’s wallet). Troy studied hard, practiced the sword, endeavored to persevere, and eventually graduated, and while not at the top of his class, he was rather well thought of by his teachers, and more importantly, he had achieved his dream. He had become a knight.

Now like every kingdom, Benzer had its enemies. And like many kingdoms, Benzer’s enemy was a neighboring kingdom, by the name of Aqaunis. The two kingdoms had an off-again-on-again type of war, the reasons of which will be decided by history. You could pick any number of reasons for a war: land, money, power, love, hate, greed, vengeance. Any of those reasons will do. The reasons of the war is something for politicians and historians to decide. All that matters to the soldiers is that there is a war, and your country needs you to fight it. End of story.

Troy had a total of three battles under his belt, just enough to get his feet wet. The first was just a minor border skirmish, nothing big or special. The enemy came, Benzer’s knights stood their ground (as they always did, or so they boasted), and a short battle ensued. Troy had no outstanding merit for this battle, he fought hard, and in the end his side succeeded in driving back the enemy forces. Nothing spectacular, but something to smile about nonetheless.

The second battle deserves a bit more attention. Troy was stationed at a waypoint rather far out from Benzer territory. While not a key outpost of any sort, it did provide a rather nice spot for rest and supplies for soldiers going to or coming from the front line. As such, it made a perfect target for an Aqaunis raid.

It was the middle of the night when the alarm sounded. Troy flung himself out of bed, donned his gear, and rushed to the outer courtyard, surprised and angered to see enemy troops sacking the fort. It is here that Troy earned one nice award for coolness under fire. The enemy forces had come for supplies, not only for themselves, but to also ensure that Benzer’s forces would be lacking them. A perfect little scheme in a perfect little war. Together with his best friend Hector, Troy hatched a daring, yet resourceful plan. Amidst the chaos of battle, Troy and Hector snuck out of the fort, located the enemy’s baggage train, and set fire to it. This had the effect of canceling out the reason for Aqaunis’s raid. Without the baggage train to carry out the supplies stolen, there was no real reason to continue the fight. The enemy retreated, and Troy and Hector were hailed as heroes (or at least very resourceful knights, but heroes sound much better when bragging). As a reward, his father gave him the sword he holds now. When asked what he would call the blade, he responded with the answer “I shall name it when the time is right.”

The last battle would be the downfall of Troy Priam. It, unlike the previous ones, would be a major, full-scale battle. By this time, Troy had become a squad captain, and was very proud of his position. In fact, he loved it. The battle was bloody, but it appeared that Benzer forces had the upper edge in the battle, so when Aqaunis’s forces began to pull back, the Commander ordered a pursuit, after all, chasing a defeated enemy is a time honored military tactic, since he who runs away can fight against you another day. However, as you may have guessed by now, it was a trap. It was a beautiful lure plan thought up by the enemy tactician, and when Benzer forces began their pursuit, they were greeted by a hail of arrows, and a charge by the enemy reserves, which had been ready for this moment. With fresh enemy reserves, and a never-ending rain of arrows, Benzer forces began to fall, one by one. It was here that Troy lost everything. Every last man under his command had died. Even his best friend Hector had sacrificed his life, so that Troy could escape. This is a madding thought for any commander, a thought that will eat away at your very soul.

After the battle, Troy stood alone. He had not died with his men; he was the only survivor. He could not save any of them, even his best friend. Although it was not his fault (he had charged with the rest of the unit, just like the Commander ordered), he would never forgive himself. This guilt ate away at his soul, leaving a huge void for him to fill. Some people fill this void by swearing an oath of vengeance, others by becoming a monster, slaying anyone they meet. Others return to their king, and redouble their efforts, swearing that their comrade’s sacrifices would not be in vain. Troy was none of those. He lost himself entirely. All joy was ripped away from him. He became a shell of the man he use to be. He could not return to his king, his pride would not allow it. He knew he would never be able to look anyone from Benzer in the eye again. And so, he left Benzer, and became a drifter. Deciding that the time was right for a name for his sword, he choose the name Disillusioned, in order to represent the great disappointment he had for himself. And so, he left everything he ever knew, with only his disappointment to keep him company.

This is all fine, I just need you to give me a limit on the shockwave, like how often it can be used.

Ah, I never saw it. Most people don't put it at the begining.

Approved.
