Slowly, the warrior began to walk down a familiar road. How many times now has he walked this exact path? He couldn't count the times, but he knew it was the first time since he died. Even that, however, didn't slow his step. In fact, he had to resist the urge to run down the street. He wanted his revenge on his 'killer' and former boss. Shame that if he went asking around for where they were going to be, they would flee and then he would never catch them. No, best to let them not realize he was there till they were in the arena with him again. Then, he would have his revenge, and he would make sure that it was painfull.

Without even paying attention, he turned and began to walk up to the citadel. The only thing that he had to look out for were other walkers, but they usually let him by. Not many people got in the way of a man with a sword and a patch over an eye. He didn't even pay them any mind. Cowards like them weren't even worth his time. As he approached the door, a monk greeted him.

"Take me to an empty one. Hopefully, that person will come to his own demise."

The last part he only muttered to himself, so the monk didn't hear. Following the monk, Erithen began to feel his adrenaline pumping. How he wished he would find his killer and exact his revenge. Even with such thoughts in his head, however, he knew the chances of meeting him were slim. In that case, he would just have a normal fight with a stranger. Hopefully, it wouldn't be with a weakling and he would at least have some fun in it. Shortly, the monk stopped and pointed to a doorway. Nodding to the monk, Erithen walked into the arena.

The sudden change in atmoshpere caught Erithen off guard. Erithen now found himself in a circular torture chamber. From first glance, he guessed that it was about thirty feet across, though there were only a few 'open' areas. A stretch rack stood in the center of the room, with an iron maiden a few fet away and other torture devices scattered throughout the room also. There were also various weapons hanging on the wall. Some of them not meant for combat but for agonizing pain. The lighting also left some dark patches on the floor and wall, so he couldn't be certain of everything in the room. Erithen couldn't help but smile. If his wanted opponent came here, this would be the perfect place to have his revenge. Smiling, he took a step into the room.

After his third step, he heard a click and suddenly looked down. The brick he stepped on had a very small mark on it. Looking up, Erithen barely noticed a metal axe heading his direction. With a duck and spin, he barely dodged the trap. As he spun, he unsheathed his twin blades in one movement that helped him balance himself as he landed. Quickly, he looked around his feet but couldn't see any marks like the one on the brick he stepped on. A thud shortly followed and he saw the axe impale itself in the now closed door.

This fight... is going to be interesting no matter who comes.

Regaining his composure, Erithen stood up and looked toward the other door. Soon, his opponent would appear there and Erithen would be waiting.
