... I have just received a phone call from my parents about ten minutes ago (literally) that they have to be out of town to send my grandpa in for emergency surgery.

Therefore, I must return home.

...Living alone does have its perks, more or less. Even if I have to take care of the house on my own.

*Puts up a "Gone 2 Home" Sign*

EDIT: Don't worry, it's not life-threatening. This is just a reminder that I'll be slow to respond as I adjust to the slow dial-up again. T-T

Grandpa passed away at 10 am on April 11th, local time.

The funeral proceeded as planned and everyone has now gone home.

And... I'm back to work.

*Still wearing black, since it's his usual color anyways*

I feel for ya man, I know all to well the feeling of having to carry on after a loved one dies.

I lost my grandpa around this time two years ago.

sorry to hear it... the hardest part of moving on is dealing with the flood of memories. at least it was for me. stay strong.
