*Personality: Perce is not a confident sort, he would rather avoid conflict than find it in all cases. He does however recognize the inevitability of self-defense and a small amount of traveling thus far has seasoned him somewhat. He however remains rather shy and withdrawn. His nervous demeanor however can often inspire extraordinary kindness from those most prone to the feeling.
Appearance: Perce has red hair and emerald eyes which make him stand out far more than he would like. He's tall and thin, adding to an oddly boyish appearance. He wears a simple brown tunic.
History: Perce was sent away to become a scholar from a young age. He studied most of his adolescence under the tutelage of an old scholar who is now retired and passed on a valued relic from his collection when Perce began his traveling. Under his former teacher, he learned skills such as reading, writing, and a small degree of healing magic.
Perce travels in order to record aspects of Althanas life and eventually begin a manuscript to detail it as a sort of anthropology. In the meantime, he attempts to find work to support his writing through whatever means he can, sometimes resorting to adventuring work, as unfit as he sometimes appears for it, luckily his amulet keeps him from ending up completely helpless.
Skills: Reading and Writing of a level appropriate for his occupation.
-Fighting: Perce fights with his staff at an above average level.
-Spells: Cure (Level 0) - He can offer a spell to others which will slightly increase healing rates throughout a short length of time, the spell must be reapplied regularly to help greater injuries.
Equipment: A large walking staff (of very strong wood), it can be used as a weapon if necessary; An amulet worn around his neck, this increases the body's natural regeneration slightly so most non-fatal wounds are healed within a few days time (including broken bones), he received it from his tutor's collection of antiquities as a gift; He also carries a pack on his back for typical supplies and bazaar purchases; He also carries a leather bound journal for his notes, a supply of ink, and quills.
