Vampiric Angel

Name: Anenfel Saendithas
Age: 54
Race: Half-Elf
Hair Color: Light Brown
Eye Color: Pale Green
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 172lbs.
Occupation: Traveler

Personality: Anenfel thinks of himself as honorable. Though at times, his methods are less than acceptable. He lives in the moment, yet lets the past guide him. He help's all that are in need of his services, though those times are few and far between. He can be thought of as the typical Byronic hero, minus the dark and brooding parts.

Appearance: Anenfel's appearance can be quite striking, even thought of as majestic. His pale skin and chin-length light brown hair have a certain shine to it. As well as his pale green eyes, which hold an eerie incandescence. It was said that when he was among the trees at night, they would shine as brightly as the moon in the sky. Though none are alive to support the fact, Anenfel likes to use it as a charm with the members of the opposite sex.

His clothes reflect the half-elf's cavalier spirit. Mostly hardened leather for superior maneuverability, he has a bright red scarf that hangs about his neck, wraps around, and drops over his shoulders on both sides. He doesn’t have a cape, thinking that they’re just a large piece of cloth to get in the way. The hardened leather is a dark brown.

History: Anenfel’s history is a simple one. He lived with his human mother for most of his life, his elf father abandoning him at birth. They lived in a small cottage in the woods, surrounded by the trees that Anenfel began to fall in love with. He always knew he was different, even as a child his elven features began to stick out. His superior senses, such as keen eyesight and hearing. As well as his fast reflexes. When he turned 10, his mother was ill and died of a fever. With no one left to take care of him, Anenfel went into the woods that surrounded his cottage.

It wasn’t until he was taken in by a Wood Elf druid that he started to learn of his true potential. The druid taught him how to use his infravision, a common skill among the elves. He also learned to navigate the woods without making a sound. The druid, by this time became more of a fatherly figure, told Anenfel of his days as a traveler. Traversing the lands in search of adventure. He told Anenfel that one day he would do the same, and that he would have to be prepared for the struggles ahead.

So for the next few years, he taught Anenfel the ways war. He learned to use a longsword. As well as became a superior tactician. The years passed as he learned his skills. He became anxious towards the end of his training. After receiving his “father’s” sword and daggers as gifts, he set out to make his mark on the world.

Skills:
Keen Eyesight: Anenfel can see farther than the average human, but since he is partly human, he sight cannot reach as far as the elves.

Keen Hearing: When in absolute silence, Anenfel can hear a pin hitting the ground. But because of the fact that the world is almost never silent, he is able to hear most footsteps if they were made by a clumsier race, i.e. Human, Goblin.

Lighting Reflexes: Since Anenfel is of elven origin, he inherited their speed, agility, and ability to react quickly to most events. But since he's never been in a situation where he had to use them, he hasn't had the time to hone them. Which gives him only a slight advantage over some humans.

Infravision: When in total darkness, Anenfel can change his sight in order to see heat patterns such as a roaring fire, or a living creature.

Stealthy Footsteps: Anenfel can navigate most areas, usually woodland areas, without being detected. But if you catch him in an open field, he’s pretty easy to spot.

Swordsmanship: Anenfel is an average swordsman. Though he doesn’t quite have the experience of fighting unique foes, he does know the basics. He isn't quite the best swordsman out there, but he can hold his own from time to time.

Dagger Play: Anenfel uses daggers for the menial task, i.e. skinning a dead rabbit. He has used them in battle before, but unless he’s sneaking up on someone or throwing them at an enemy, he’d rather use his longsword.

Tactician’s Mind: Anenfel can think of solutions most others can’t. And he often uses that skill in battle.

Equipment:
The Dawntracker
A steel longsword given to him by his adopted father. Handed down through the ages, this ancient sword is thought of as a holy relic that has been lost to the world. Although Anenfel has heard the myths and stories about it, he thinks it is nothing more than a sword.

Steel Daggers
Anenfel carries a pair of steel daggers with him at all times. No one know where he puts them, seeing as how the location moves day by day.

Boots of the Patriarch
Another gift from his father, these boots give the wearer added protection to their feet. Making it easier to step on sharp objects and not be harmed.

Familiars:
Name: Larissa
Race: Fairy
Age: Unknown
Height: 7”

Larissa has been a close friend and traveling companion of Anenfel ever since he was a child. When they met, Larissa thought Anenfel was in trouble and hurried to save him. She has been protective of him ever since. Although she carries a sharp dagger, she barely uses it to harm anyone. The most she can do to help Anenfel in battle is to pinch the enemy into submission. Though that may not work on battle-hardened warriors, it does make for a nice distraction. She has taken on the role as being Anenfel’s eyes and ears during battle, keeping a sharp eye out for anyone wanting to sneak up on her friend.

Nice layout. Here's what I need you to do to get approved...

"Lightning Reflexes" at level one should be understood as that you have only above average reactions. I don't want to see you dodging blow after blow in battles. Edit the skill accordingly.

As for your swordsmanship, I'd like you to remove the word "exceptional" and state plainly that he is capable but not notably impressive with a sword. This is to balance out your other skills. If you want to remain a skilled swordsman, remove infravision or another ability.

(You can gain/improve abilities through quests and level ups, so editing them now won't mean they're gone forever.)
