Name: Narida Cestelle
Age:142
Race:Beast Elf
Hair Color:Platinum Silver
Eye Color:Fog Grey
Height:5'2''
Weight:100 lbs.
Occupation:Assassin for hire/mercenary

Personality: Being a beast elf, Narida can seem harsh to those who only get an impression from doing business with her. Her race gives her a very fiery, sensitive nature and often times the few who know her beyond business will describe her to have a short fuse. Feeling very alien in this civilized world, she is introverted to those around her who do not know her and prefers to confide in her wolf companion(or familiar) rather than those around her that poke in her private life. Her choice of job to her is a necessity to control her anger while being able to sustain herself, and selects her clients carefully so she is killing someone who deserves to die, and will occasionally be a body-guard when nobody who deserves death seems to be up for killing. But if you struggle with her and fight her fight and find a way to prove a connection to her, the connection can often spur a very close and intimate bond. But Narida is very selective in making these bonds, and in her almost a century and a half of living, only three have earned it, one of which died. Her strength is peculiar in how it shapes to every situation, and even to her close ones, she can sometimes seem weak when she most needs to be strong.

Appearance: Beast elves diverge from other elves in that while most elves have very slim, tall bodies, they are more short, muscled and stocky. Narida's appearance lives up to that, though to the eye of most men she isn't bad. Her medium-long wavy platinum hair is always held back in a tight braid that is wound into a bun and her bangs are held out of her face by a large black headband that she wears along the forelock of her brow. Beast elves have naturally larger eyes that have wonderful night vision, but she can only see at human level vision in blinding daylight, so she does most of her work at night time. If someone were to look upon her, her expression would neither welcome them nor drive them away. Her face has a delicate look about it when it is lost in thought, and it is not until the crude knives in her boot are noticed that some realize that she is someone that you really shouldn't interrupt when lost in thought. Her attire when not in battle gear is simple cotton clothing for around a city, but when she returns to her tribe she will don the leathers of her people - a small one inch midriff from the painted and beaded breeches, which went to her knees. armlets and anklets and bracelets made of leather strips and feathers are also common, as well as white paint that decorates her face(brush-head stripes across the cheeks/dotted pattern on the forehead) and arms(similar design as the head).

History: Narida Cestelle was not the birth name of this Beast elf - rather, that was Ryah Ya'kii, or "strange spirit" because unlike most beast elves, she had Grey eyes as opposed to the blues, greens, and yellows. It made the people somewhat afraid of this innocent babe, because the dead animals that are brought back by necromancers have the same Grey to their eyes - she became known as the Dead Girl, because many believed her soul was dead, though this was not the case. Nevertheless, she found a way to fit into society, if you could call beast elf living society. As she turned to be 50 years old, she had become what human standards of age would be the fit age to work. But the tribe was different - they sent everyone who has turned 50 out of the village with nothing but a red stone on a silver chain - without explaining the meaning or purpose of it - and are banished from the village. They cannot return until they can tell the people of the village what the amulet does, until an animal has become their permanent companion, and they must learn why their kind is dying out. Ryah set out to do this, first accomplishing finding a strong, stout wolf, the Beta of a pack of stronger, stouter wolves. She named him Neoku, which meant "strong child". two years later, after exploring Coroné more, she discovered the use of the stone. When she was in a life threatening situation, it seizes her senses and multiplies them and Neoku's many times, giving her a fighting chance to get out of the threatening situation. But afterwards, one is so drained and dehydrated that if you do not get water in a few hours, you may die(same goes for the animal companion). Lastly, she learned a year later than that why her kind are fading. Her people were not being killed, nor were they getting sick nor were they at war with one another. they simply left Coroné to explore other worlds slowly but surely, and as they found mates in other lands, they bred out the race of elves that was once so abundant. She returned to her home to explain her findings, and then the leader asked her why he had made her find that out. She explained that from her perspective, it seemed that it was to persuade her not to leave the village or Coroné to keep the race alive. When that was confirmed, she then said, "However, that will not stop me from leaving. I have no intentions of keeping myself locked up in this village when I've seen so much more worth seeing. Of course, I will continue to come once every decade as a part of seeking my animal companion as the late one will have died, but other than that my chains to this place are broken." Her statement was met with outrage, but she simply turned on her heel with Neoku and left to travel and soon adopted the occupation of mercenary/assassin for hire to satisfy two needs - the need to make money and live, and the need to kill souls unworthy of living to repent to the gods of the beast elves so that she will not lose the right to having a companion such as Neoku - she almost did when she left the village. Realizing her name sounded very harsh as well as connecting her to the village, she changed it to Narida Cestelle, and has done assassinations and mercenary jobs ever since.

equipment: Simple boiled leathers and light chain mail made of steel links as well as a white mask carved from the wood of a tree inside her village(which she uses during assassinations to hide her face). her close range weapon is a simple steel stiletto enameled black with a bright blue at the very tip of the blade while her long range weapon of choice is a simple, sturdy crossbow. she has numerous boot knives of crude quality, but good for fending off drunkards in taverns, where she conducts most of her business arrangements.

Skills: She has average skills in short swords and stilettos(though she prefers stilleto's) and average skills with a crossbow.

Familiar: Neoku(previously mentioned wolf in History)

Include that her chainmail and stiletto are made of steel. Crossbow should be made of generic materials and basic wood.

Please create a 'skills' area where you can list all of her skills, such as her ability with the stiletto and crossbow. She should be 'average' with each, so about as skilled as a typical soldier.

You can start a new quest in one of the regions, or make an open battle in the Citadel, or pretty much anything in any place that seems to make sense. We have a large forum for questions and advice, so you can browse the posts there to see some answers to typical questions. Or you can PM or IM a moderator for more info.
