((Updates in Red))

Maturity and conquest.

*Name: Lexxum Vordic

*Age:21

*Race: Blood Lizard.

*Hair Color: N/A

*Scale Color: Blood red with formidable stripes and other tribal markings.

*Eye Color: Crimson red.

*Occupation: These represent the current known job classes that Lexxum has opted to pursue.

Berserker: Lexxum's basic job class. He is a Berserker capable of showcasing acts of extreme physical strength. He is dangerous in the killing arts and fights without bounds.

Soldier of Valinatal, First Class: (See full information in the text below) Having found himself in Raiaera under the employ of Valinatal's army, Lexxum began a rigorous regimen of training in the ways of tactical warfare. He is now an experienced soldier and understands the inner working of Raiaera's militia forces. He has achieved a tremendous education in the fold of Valinatal's forces and has developed an interest in joining the more elite soldiers of Raiaera.

Member of Imperials: Having joined the fledgling Power Group, Lexxum rounds out his military education by becoming a member of this group. Lexxum swears fealty to Joshua Cronen and Xalstad, who represent the leadership body of this small outfit.

*Personality: Having fought in many wars, the young Berserker developed a key characteristic that defined him as a god amongst men. The characteristic is compassion. Once a violent, blood thirsty individual, constant training in the fires of warfare changed the individual to a point where he understood the instinctive balance of life. As an animal, Lexxum has a certain distinctive connection to Lady Suravani and Lord Mitra, that helped him developed this respect of life. Now a much smarter individual, Lexxum will only shed blood when the situation calls for it, or when he is ordered by a superior officer. The key most important change in his personality is that he now lethally thinks before he acts. He takes that extra moment to develop strategem and tactics in order to fell his opponents.

*Description:A tall, well built Saurian with a scale epidermis. His thick scales serve as a natural armor common to his people. Many tribal markings like stripes and other symbols appear upon his skin. He has a powerful, well knotted physique. He has a long tail that extends from his spinal column and intense, glowing red eyes. He wears the armor of a soldier of Valinatal's fighting force in Raiaera. He has the markings of the Imperials emblazoned on his person somewhere. He stands at 8' in height and weighs in approximately 600 pounds. He is a behemoth. His hands and feet are adorned by powerful claws and talons. His maw is equipped with many rows of sharp teeth used to tear flesh. He is a terrifying sight to behold.

*History:

Level 0 (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=7588)

Level 1 (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=10467)

Level 2(New):

Continuing his journey across the lands of Althanas, Lexxum Vordic ended up taking a ship to Raiaera. Hearing the stories of great wars taking place there, the courageous Blood Lizard opted to join the front lines of the war. He immediately made the trip to Valinatal. Joining up with the army faction located in Valinatal, Lexxum lead the life of an ordinary soldier. Quickly climbing through the ranks of that particular faction, Lexxum became a Soldier First Class. When Valinatal fell at the hands of Lexxum's arch nemesis, Netha'Tu, Lexxum swoere vengeance against Xem'Zund and his forces of darkness. They were an afront to Lord Mitra and everything that the priesthood of Lord Mitra stood for.

Receiving his final orders as a Soldier of Valinatal, the warrior was asked to lead a group of refugees to Annabrelith, one of the last remaining strongholds of Raiaera. During his journey to the port city, Lexxum met up with a fellow traveler named Kryos Ralshin, and the two quickly became fast friends. Overcoming many ordeals traveling through the Red Forest, Lexxum Vordic met his destiny towards the end of the long journey. Bumping into a renegade Necromancer going by the name of Rashilan Penna'Ak, events spiraled forward that led to a terrible revelation about the world of Althanas and the coming Second Age of Darkness. Lexxum's destiny is foretold here (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=10237&page=1).

***

Continuing the story, Lexxum joined a faction operating in Corone and calling itself the Imperials. Lead by Xalstad and Joshua Cronen, the Power Group showed great promise in becoming a central force of power in Althanas rivaling even the covert influence of Step. Max Dirks personally invested his own property to becoming the headquarters for the Power Group and the outfit planned its functions out of that beautiful estate. Located in Corone, the headquarters served as both a gathering area for the members of Imperials and an information storehouse. Everything was operating smoothly until a rival faction calling itself the New World Order (NWO) challenged Imperials for supremacy.

The leadership body of the Imperials called upon its allies and connections to hire mercenaries and other sellswords to assist the Imperials in the upcoming gang war. Motives were kept hidden until Lexxum Vordic figured out that the NWO was really just after the vault's contents of the Imperials. The eve of the war was upon them. Soldiers prepared to defend their hard earned turf, and the army of the Imperials was well armed and equipped. The Mercenaries showed up for the battle at hand, and the Monks of Ai'bron assisted the Imperials to ensure that nobody suffered a true death. Lexxum Vordic fought against an individual named Rayse Valentino that had several other members of the NWO working alongside him. The siege lasted well into the long hours of the night, and two groups actually participated in the war. Records were sketchy at best, but the war resulted in the destruction of Dirks' proud estate. Left without a home, Lexxum walked away from the war and its outcome with a bitter feeling in his stomach.

They'd just been screwed. The details of the war's known accounts can be found in Group 2 (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=12969) and Group 1 (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=12971).

*Skill and Ability Sheet:

Bone Hide A powerful epidermis that surrounds the warrior at all inches of his vessel. It is extremely thick and formidable form of armor which reflects the Blood Lizards' general desire to avoid using armor. Lexxum is one of the few exceptions of his people that opts to wear armor on top of his intricate, natural scales.((Locked until level 3))

Level 0-Brass/Copper equivalence in nature.

Level 1-Now as hard as Iron.

Level 2-(Update)Having grown as a warrior and exposed himself to the trials of warfare, Lexxum's scales are now as hard as Plynt. It would take a weapon of higher tier quality to pierce through Lexxum's scales and cause serious bodily harm.((Locked until level 3))

***

Blood Rage:A ritual of Suravani that requires a preset amount of blood to be sacrificed in the name of Lady Suravani. The nature of this sacrificial rite are mysterious and known only to the teachings of the Blood Lizards. But at the sacrifice of that preset amount of blood, Lexxum, and all other Blood Lizards, are capable of increasing strength and speed dramatically. This change is temporary in nature however and can only be accessed with extreme concentration.

Level 0-The Blood Rage ability can be accessed for one full minute/twice a day.

Level 1-The Blood Rage ability can be accessed for Two Full Minutes twice a day.

Level 2-(Update)Highly Skilled. Having trained with his innate abilities for many years now, the warrior has obtained a certain degree of mastery of his ability. Now, his Strength increased to about Two Times his normal strength level, and his reaction rate/agility and speed increased to about one time his normal power level. This is in comparison to other warriors of the same bracket and level, taking into consideration Lexxum's great size and mass. These benefits are stacked on top of all his other Skills and Abilities. With his two minute current limit, Lexxum can now break his time down to one minute charges. So he can use his ability in essence, four times during a normal period of time. Each consecutive use of this ability requires greater concentration and wears the Berserker down.

***

Excellent Fighter: Lexxum's general degree of combat mastery. This education of a warrior applies to every melee weapon and ranged weapon as well. He has been trained in a military setting and thusly has acquired the knowledge that a normal soldier would obtain. He is skilled with just about any hand held melee weapon, and is average with long ranged and missile weapons.

Level 0-Average Fighter.

Level 1-Skilled.

Level 2-Having fought in many battles, Lexxum has become an effective killing machine. He is now Highly Skilled as a Fighter and has learned to become exceedingly effective with his body, both armed and unarmed. His military training in Valinatal has set the foundation for his combat education.

***

Senses: Blood Lizard senses are generally more advanced than most humans. They can detect things on a much sharper spectrum than most other sentients can, and use this knowledge to become effective killing machines. Only a few species of creatures on Althanas have senses that are much sharper than those of a Blood Lizard.

Level 0-Below Average skills, five feet.

Level 1-((Locked to level 2))

Level 2-((Unlocked))Now Lexxum has a sensory grid of six feet all around him. He has an increased degree of accuracy. ((Locked until Lexxum hits level 2)) Lexxum has obtained a higher degree of skill with this ability. He now is Average using this skill.

***

Fallien Extremes now changed to Environmental Extremes:This ability denotes Lexxum's ability to survive in harsh environments. So far, his abilities allow him to survive in the harsh fields of Concordia Forest and Fallien. Both are extremely dangerous environments that sport their own share of dangers and rewards.((Locked till level 3))

Level 0-Fallien Extremes.

Level 1-No Change.

Level 2-Concordia wilderness survival. Having traveled in Corone for a time, Lexxum has obtained a significant knowledge of the flora and fauna in Concordia Forest. He has also obtained survival knowledge of the Red Forest in Raiaera.((Locked till level 3))

***

Wall Crawlers

Level 0-A trait of his people, Lexxum can skillfully climb walls and stick to them using a secreted substances from his hands and feet. He can climb most surfaces with some ease this is aided with his rope and hook. ((Note: The secreted substance was locked))

Level 1-No change.

Level 2-No change.

***

ClawsLexxum's primary method of combat when he is not using his sword.

Level 0-Retractable claws, two inches, equivalent to Iron.

Level 1-Steel equivalence.

Level 2-Now, his claws have shed a lot of blood. Lexxum has grown quite skilled at using them. Thanks to his accrued combat knowledge, Lexxum's claws are now as sharp as Damascus.

***

Teeth-He uses these tools to eat the fallen of his victims. Blood Lizards are primarily carnivorous sentients in nature. Lexxum has now developed another row of teeth, much like a shark.

Level 0-Iron.

Level 1-No Change.

Level 2-Steel in equivalence now.

***

The Rage:A powerful ability that allows the Berserker to access his newly acquired Arta vessel in a previously unthinkable way. He turns into an entirely new version of the Blood Lizards, his scales go completely black and his power increases. This is a dangerous ability because Lexxum has accessed 100% Rage. He is not in control of his faculties and will attack anything that is close to him. This ability lasts for one full minute and can be accessed twice a day.((Note: The Rage was acquired at level 1 and thusly is still a -new- Ability. That's why there isn't a level 2 bonus. I'll upgrade it at Level 3. So far I was just trying to clarify the ability a little bit further))

Level 0-Thanks to the impure vessel within his veins flowing in his body, Lexxum has unlocked a new ability. Having consumed the flesh of a zombie, Lexxum can now access a demented state where he has achieved 100% rage. His previously crimson scales become black in color. Many spikes, equivalent of iron, protrude from his body. In this state Lexxum fights without remorse. He sees the world in a blood-red haze. Lexxum is in a berserker state when he has The Rage. Used in conjunction with his Blood Rage ability, Lexxum becomes deadly. All logic and thought are forfeit in this state, he considers all nearby units as enemies. ((Mod Notes)) Lexxum also gains: The Rage ability! However, be wary of powerplaying this skill, as Lexxum is already far too powerful without it in this quest. Simply put, tone it down to match the description in your profile (yes, I have now read it): “Note Lexxum is currently an AVERAGE close-range Fighter when compared to other level 0's and 1's of his exact same bracket.”

Level 1-No change.

***

Might of Lord Mitra((New))-((Innate))A newly acquired ability, Lexxum's growth has unlocked this potent new power. At the cost of some sacrifice of blood to Lord Mitra, Lexxum can access this power to increase his strength at will. At the activation of this ability, Lexxum can access two times his normal strength. This can allow him to hit harder, carry more goods, and lift more dead weight upon his person. The bonus in strength is based upon his weight and mass. This is just one of many blessings that Lord Mitra and Lady Suravani will give to their children. ((Blessing of Lord Mitra is a separate ability)) ((Extra Note: can only be used once a day))

***

Lizard's Leap((New))-((Innate))This simply allows the warrior to leap great distance. He can jump as far as twenty feet and land gracefully at the end of the movement. This allows the Blood Lizard to move great distances across the land. The Lizard's Leap does not tire Lexxum out as it is a natural movement.

Inventory:

Level 0-

1 Necklace of Bones. ((Just a useless trinket of his people. More of a symbol of Faith than anything else. Not Sellable))

1 Belt of Pouches and small sacks. ((For carrying small supplies like positions and weapons taken from victims))

1 Basic Travel Back. ((For carrying larger stuff))

1 Full length rope with an iron claw at the tip for climbing steep surfaces of mountains and hills. Also useful for spelunking. ((Not suitable for combat))

Level 1-Jewelry-Lexxum Vordic some non-sellable jewels and trinkets, and a buster sword.

Buster Sword: Firstly, I wouldn’t give a masterwork weapon to a level zero no matter what, especially not a masterwork Delyn weapon. That said, even if you were high enough a level, the quality of writing and effort put forth just does not warrant such a spoil. For this reason, the buster sword is made of iron and is of average workmanship. It seems that the merchant deceived Lexxum. ((Note: Broken during the Dead and Undying FQ Mission))

Clockwork Hand: A steel device made in Fallien. It replaces his organic hand is is masterwork in nature.

"Tap Reaver":Lexxum's New Sword. Stolen from the super zombie that Lexxum fought bravely in battle. The weapon is fashioned like a claymore. It is double-edged. The blade is made of Plynt and the handle is an ornate handle made of iron and leather. The quality is Masterwork. The sword is not sellable and comes with a Masterwork scabbard. Also, due to the fact that the Sword came in contact with powerful Tap energies, it has invariably become enchanted. Imbued with the element of Tap Fire, thrice a day, Lexxum can launch a potent Fire 1 projectile from his sword. The projectile has a distance of about ten feet and can only be fired in the direction that Lexxum is facing. Since the projectile is launched from Lexxum's sword, the attack requires very little concentration on Lexxum's behalf. The Fire can currently cause weak and minor damage and burns. But overtime, the living Tap energies will grow as Lexxum grows. ((I want Lexxum's sword to count as his "weak magical item of my choice reward"))
Lexxum Vordic gains: A New Sword with three Tap Fire Charges per day!

Level 2-Full suit of Valinatal Armor made of Steel, Masterwork in quality and a Vlince cloak with the insignia of Valinatal's army. Note: It has a hole on the chest plate from where Rash fired her blast at Lexxum's chest. Obtained in this thread: ((Linked TWICE because I was asked to link it twice)) http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=10237&page=6

Other Notes

*Racial weaknesses remain the same.

Tap Reaver level 1-Exposed to the energies of The Tap, Lexxum's sword has upgraded itself from Plynt to Damascus. The quality is still masterwork in nature. The weapon's only other change is the ability to absorb fire at will. ((Non-magical and only natural fires))((Locked until level 3))

The Wild-A place that Blood Lizards sometimes go to during times of great stress and physical torment. This place is a pocket dimension of Althanas and during their stay in this place, they are better able to deal with times of great physical stress. In some cases, stronger Blood Lizards are able to project their soul into The Wild and leave their body in a zen like robotic state. During visits to The Wild, Blood Lizards can interact with higher powers like Lady Suravani or Lord Mitra. These are blood visions that often tell of various incomplete futures that are yet to pass. In Lexxum's case he was able to send his soul into The Wild in order to surpass the clutches of death at the hands of the Necromancer Rashilan Penna’ak. Lexxum experienced a physical death, but his powerful spirit lives on in Phantom form. ((Acquired during Fight or Flight))((Locked till level 3))

Please put your updates in some kind of color. Even though you have 'new' written next to some things, other areas are in bold and I'm not sure if those are new, too.

No problem dude, give me a few moments.

@Changes made dude. I updated all of the new stuff. Please let me know if there are any edits I need to make, I'll be happy to make them. :)

For level 2, this is too many upgrades.

First off, please provide me a link to his new armor and cloak, which I might add is not in red.

Did "The Rage" become "Might of Lord Mitra"? Or is that a separate skill altogether? I'm confused because The Rage is described in red, but there appears to be no level 2 upgrade. I imagine you just reworded it (but I still need my question answered!).

Upgrades such as his hide becoming as strong as Plynt are always very sketchy to me, so I try to treat them even more severely than armor upgrades.

I think some of your upgrades are reasonable, but all of them together are much more than I would allow for a level 2 update. Please subtract a few upgrades and/or new skills and get back to me. Try to limit this update to 4, maybe 5 upgrades and new skills.

Okay bro, here we go.

@I colored everything that you asked me to color for easy readings. I hope that will suffice.

@Blessing of Lord Mitra is a separate ability from The Rage. It is basically Lexxum's general "super strength" kind of deal. I envision Lexxum as sort of Althanas' version of a Super Saiyajin from DBZ or maybe The Hulk from Marvel Comics. I hope that answers your question. I clarified it in the text as well for easy reference.

@I locked The Wild until level 3, and I locked the Environmental Extremes. If need be, I can ALSO lock my Lexxum's Senses upgrade until level 3. But only if you deem it necessary.

@The scale upgrade? Did you want me to lower that or keep it as is? For Bone Hide I mean.

Okay.

I'm really not comfortable with every inch of this character being covered in Plynt. Give him some exposed, weaker flesh in some key areas. He can barely be harmed by anyone without a great weapon, as it is.

His senses shouldn't detect someone's intricate movements or anything, just the fact that they're there. Just an FYI.

Edit Might of Lord Mitra to give it a limit of usage. Like twice a day or some such thing.

Again I'll ask you to please provide a link to where you purchased your new armor :)

Eliminate Tap Reaver's upgrade or offer some other compromise.

Lexxum_Vordic
04-30-08, 04:09 PM
@It's gonna take too much more time to just edit everything out. I went ahead and just locked the requested changes until Lexxum hits level 3. So now my character is -further- lowered. Will that be okay or do I have to make yet more changes?

@I gave the Blessing of Lord Mitra three charges a day.

Cyrus the virus
04-30-08, 04:56 PM
Three charges is high enough that it's hardly limiting at all, in a battle. Two sounds reasonable.

As for the Plynt skin upgrade, I'm not saying you need to wait to have it. I'm saying having his entire body covered in Plynt armor makes him invulnerable to most characters and that isn't acceptable at this point. Those sorts of abilities I only like to allow for high level characters, and even then I have a difficult time doing so.

Lexxum_Vordic
04-30-08, 05:21 PM
@I edited so he can only use it once a day. Hopefully that will suffice.

@I'd rather wait to get the full ability as I want it to be because its for his whole bone hide. That's his main line of defense. So I'll just wait for it until he's higher level. Sorry you feel that way. But I'm locking it for now.

04-30-08, 05:31 PM
Want to cut the attitude, sport?

I'm trying to tell you that I won't approve the Plynt upgrade even at level three. But you can tackle that when you get there, I guess.

Now PLEASE PROVIDE A LINK TO WHERE YOU BOUGHT THAT ARMOR. Thanks.

04-30-08, 05:43 PM
@I'm loosing my patience here. I've already linked it more than once in the above text, but here it is AGAIN. http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=10237&page=6 its a spoil I got for that quest.

@Insofar as the Bone Hide upgrade goes, I'll worry about it at a later level. If I get you or someone else its irrelevant at this point cause that's why I locked it in the first place. I don't want to deal with making anymore edits. If there's anything else you need let me know. Sport.

Cyrus the virus
04-30-08, 05:57 PM
Already linked it in the above text? Where is that? There is no link anywhere near the description of the armor in your profile. The only mention of that quest is under 'The Wild', which can be unlocked, by the way.

Just add the link in there with that armor and you're good to go.

And don't get pissy with me. Cool your beans.

@ARGH! Its already in there. >.> Here is the portion of the history where I linked the quest to begin with:

Receiving his final orders as a Soldier of Valinatal, the warrior was asked to lead a group of refugees to Annabrelith, one of the last remaining strongholds of Raiaera. During his journey to the port city, Lexxum met up with a fellow traveler named Kryos Ralshin, and the two quickly became fast friends. Overcoming many ordeals traveling through the Red Forest, Lexxum Vordic met his destiny towards the end of the long journey. Lexxum's destiny is foretold here.
http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=10237 ((For the umpteenth time, its linked in the word HERE. I linked both of the quests where I got experience towards my level up. Sorry one of my bracket keys is kinda messed up so I had to manually the address versus using the code. I got the suit of armor approved as a spoil. It's ALL THERE))

Cyrus the virus
04-30-08, 06:05 PM
You linked to your armor spoil in your history, awesome. Now put a link next to the armor like I asked. I don't understand why this is so complicated.

@Linked in the Inventory section so the link now appears -twice- in the text. I hope that'll suffice.

Not everyone likes to read through your entire profile to find a link to items you are supposed to provide a link to. Grow up and get some patience.

Approved.
