MSN v YIM v AIM

What's better? I have MSN, and currently downloading YIM. Haven't tried AIM.
I like MSN cause the majority of my mates have it, but YIM is looking pretty nifty. Practically all the variations of 'lilabelle' 'moonbird' and 'lily sweet' are taken though. Ended up with lilabellelizard, an inside joke. Do add by the way, it's looking lonely.

They seem to have exactly the same features though.

AIM is far superior... you can dock the buddy window, it helps tell you when people IM you, the IM windows themselves are a lot more organized... far superior.

The people have spoken. Trillian is win.

Pidgin is good too, and I am a big supporter of open source, but Trillian is still free, which is the same thing to the common person who doesn't want to edit source code.

I had GAIM for awhile which did the same thing. Those programs are pretty cool.

Just got Trillian. It's not bad. Wish I could set personal comments though like on MSN, and wallpapers and suchlike. But its awfully nice.

Trillian doesn't like my computer, it appears. When I have it open, I cannot type in any application except Trillian. Not IE, Firefox, Safari, Word, Wordpad, Works...when closed, everything works. This will be a pain.
