((Ok! Streak101 here! Making another character to prounce around Althanas! Basically, my conscience, or gut, or whatever you'll call it, gave me an idea. Make an Althanas character based on me!))
Name: Giancarlo "Gianca" Vazquez
Age:13
Race:Human
Gender:Male
Height/Weight:4'5"/ 95 Lbs.
Location: Ettermire/Alerar
Occupation: Part-time mercenary
Personality: It'll fold out in my quests and battles...
Appearance: Giancarlo has black hair, and brown eyes. His hair is all the way down, meaning nothing folded up or anything, just lying on his head. His hair covers up to his eyebrows, and then makes a slight curve showing that it is getting long. At the back his hair reaches to the top of his spine, and makes the same curve as the top.
He is somewhat short for boys his age, and has a normal body shape, (Not fat, and not skinny.) He is not as acrobatic as others so cannot jump very high, but can jump a fairly long distance forward, backward, and to the sides. He is a fast runner, but not as fast as other Althanas character's. (Slower by say 2 to 3 seconds.)
Normally he wears a pair of pants, that has a lot of pockets, usually the color blue, khaki, or black, which can also be adjusted to make shorts, and a plain old T-shirt usually the color red, green, or black. He has 2 pairs of sneakers, Dark Blue, and Black. He is sometimes seen wearing a white headband under his hair.
History: Giancarlo was actually born in Corone, but due to working conditions moved to Alerar. From there he grew up a normal boy, experiencing things other children didn't have the oppurtunity to know. His father was an engineer a genius among humans, and gifted among the Drows, and his mother was also an engineer. No matter how busy they were they had time for Gianca, and his needs and wants.
Living in a city where Drows speak their native tongue most of the time made it hard for Gianca to fit in, so as he grew older he learned the Drow language. At the age of 8, he was able to speak very good Drow without his father's accent. With this, he was given permission to wander about the city, and find the many wonders of Ettermire's technology.
He rode the airships, and the steam engines, and met a lot of people. Though not all people are charitable, and kind. Yes, Gianca had found that a certain person dicpised him, and he heard from a local Drow who he was. He had never gave out his name, but they knew he was a human, by the way he spoke. He too was like Gianca except he was much older, and had hatred in his heart. He lived quite the opposite life Gianca had, no parents, no friends, not so much as a penny, or floor to sleep on. Then they told Gianca he was after his family.
Hearing this, Gianca dashed home hoping his parents were okay, but he was unlucky this time. He saw the man, rigid with scars on his face, and musculine. He had tied Gianca's parents to the wall, and he brandished two blades from his belt. "What's your name, and why are you doing this!?" Gianca asked, horrified at what happened. "My name is Grot, and I want you to see how hard it is with no parents, or nothing." The man replied cackling madly.
"But what have I ever done to you!?" Gianca screamed. "It's not what you did it's what your father did. He's to blame, and now I'll make him pay by making you suffer, and wasting his life away in one fell swoop!" At this the man twirled his swords around, and slayed Gianca's parents both swords into the heads. "N-no! Ahhh!" Over ridden with panic, and sadness, and hate Gianca passed out.
When he woke he was alone in his house, a note laid in his hand. It read:My son if you are reading this then it is because your mother, and I are deceased, and no longer with you. I have one thing that I want you to do. If this death was murder avenge our deaths. That is all I ask of you my son. Now follow these instructions... Someone must've given him this letter while he was unconscious, collected the bodies, and cleaned the house. The authorities...
Gianca looked up at the sky, crying tear after tear, "Father I promise you...No I SWEAR to you that I'll avenge you and mother, and I'll make him pay...That I can guarantee!" Gianca ahouted.
Skills:Bum Rush: Gianca gains a quick rush of speed. Lasts one second. Can be used 5 times per quest and 3 per battle, due to more work during them.
Rage of Hate: Gianca remembers the death of his parents, and uses the rage built up inside him for more powerful attacks. May cause loss of focus. Used once per quest/ battle (Q and B)
Shadows of Sorrow: Gianca remembers the tearful moment of his fathers note, and uses his sadness to hide and silence himself. May cause longer duration of what intended time of use(meaning he'll sometimes stay in hiding longer than he needs to) used once per Q/B.
Panic Attack: Gianca remembers rushing to his home after learning about Grot, and uses his nervousness to become more alert also makes his attacks somewhat faster. May cause great loss of focus.
Languages: Drow, and Human
Equipment: Steak Knives (X2): Gianca found these in his kitchen after following his fathers instructions. They are made of stainless steel, have black handles, and are sharp enough to cut through raw meat.
Sash: Sash Gianca uses to hold his knives.
Flashlight: A flashlight Gianca's father made. Casts dim light over any dark area. Note:Must be night fall for flashlight to work.
Journal: A log Gianca keeps. Makes a record every day.
Backpack: Gianca carries all of his non battling gear away in here.
