Starting tomorrow, I'll be away for a bit under a month, coming back on June 2nd.

And probably actually coming back on June 3rd, considering what I'm headed off to is field training. I have the express privilege of heading down to Maxwell AFB, Alabama (home of the world's largest mosquitoes) for three weeks of fun in the sun. (And by that I mean mini-boot camp.) Hurrah.

This means I won't be available for the following threads for a while:

What is field training?

I'm in AFROTC - basically, a training corps for air force officers that's layered onto your college education. Field training is what you go through as a halfway mark to it, and it's this intense pressure-cooker of a month that involves very standard boot-camp stuff like endless physical training and getting yelled at. It's tough to make it all the way through.
